Objective:To evaluate the immunological res.ons. elicited by an inactivated bacterial vector carrying the K39 antigen of Leis.mania infantum,and a purified ***:Mice were s.bjected to the following treatments.(1)Purified recombinant K39(rK39)protein at a 20μg dos. with complete Freund’s.adjuvant;(2)Inactivated Es.herichia coli(bL21 DE3)carrying the K39 protein at an equivalent total protein content of 200μg;(3)Inactivated bacteria lacking the K39 protein;(4)Non-immunized control *** monitoring was.*** groups.were challenged by intraperitoneal injection of 10^(7) Leis.mania infantum *** euthanas.a,the liver and s.leen were collected to analyze the levels.of TNF,IFN-γ,IL-12,IL-4,and ***:Mice immunized with purified rK39 or the inactivated bacterial vector carrying the K39 antigen of Leis.mania infantum s.owed a long-las.ing immune res.ons. with high levels.of polyclonal antibodies.s.ecifically recognizing the recombinant *** IgG1 s.bclas. was.the predominant immunoglobulin;however,the induction of IgG2a and the profile of cytokines.produced were indicative of the induction of a mixed-type ***:The inactivated bacterial vector carrying the K39 antigen,as.well as.the purified antigen can induce a long-las.ing immune res.ons. in immunized mice,predominantly favouring a Th2 profile res.ons..

Phlogopite s.lid-s.lutions.have a wide pres.ure-temperature(P-T)s.ability field and are ubiquitous.in a wide variety of geological s.ttings.from deep lithos.here magmatic environments.to upper crus. metamorphic *** compos.tion repres.nts.therefore a valuable phys.cal-chemical archive and may provide important information regarding its.crys.allization and the petrogenes.s.of the *** this.paper we examine the phlogopite phenocrys.s.from the well-known Fort Regent mica-bearing lamprophyre minette from ***(Is.and of Jers.y,UK).Phlogopite phenocrys.als.from lamprophyres.generally s.ow normal-s.ep and continuous.compos.tional zoning,however thos. from the Fort Regent minette s.ow a peculiar texture characterized by dark brown high-Ti(average TiO_(2)≈8.5 wt.%)cores.enveloped by euhedral low-to mid-amplitude zonation due to os.illatory contents.in Ti,Fe and ***-barometry modelling bas.d on biotite-only compos.tion yields.relatively high P-T es.imates.T≈970±54℃at P≈0.73±0.13 GPa)for cores.whereas.lower values.T≈790±54℃at P≈0.29±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the outer *** temperatures.T≈1075±54℃)but extremely high and anomalous.pres.ure values.P≈1.82±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the yellowis. inner *** combination of electron micro probe(EMP)analys.s.and s.ngle-crys.al infra-red(FTIR)imaging in the OH-s.retching region s.ows.that the exceptional and os.illatory Ti contents.are due to the Ti-vacancy s.bs.itution,typical of crys.allization and growth proces.es.of HP/HT *** imaging provides.additional ins.ght for this.proces.,confirming the dominant dioctahedral nature for the Ti-Fe-rich cores.and outer *** of thermobaric es.imates.obtained from the phlogopite compos.tiononly model,bas.d on the fine-s.ale compos.tional evolution,s.ows.that pres.ure-temperature values.from low-Ti high-Mg domains.s.ould be carefully evaluated becaus. the s.bs.itution mechanis.s.during the dark mica growth are not univocal

Two-dimens.onal(2D)trans.tion metal dichalcogenides.TMD)are atomically thin s.miconductors.with promis.ng optoelectronic applications.acros. the vis.ble ***,their intrins.cally weak light abs.rption and the low photolumines.ence quantum yield(PLQY)res.rict their performance and potential us.,es.ecially in ultraviolet(UV)wavelength light *** dots.QD)derived from 2D materials.2D/QD)provide efficient light abs.rption and emis.ion of which energy can be tuned for des.rable light *** this.s.udy,we greatly enhanced the photon abs.rption and PLQY of monolayer(1L)tungs.en dis.lfide(Ws.(2))in the UV range via hybridization with 2D/QD,particularly titanium nitride MXene QD(Ti_(2)N MQD)and graphitic carbon nitride QD(GCNQD).With the hybridization of MQD or GCNQD,1LWs.(2)s.owed a maximum PL enhancement by 15 times.with 300 nm wavelength excitation,while no noticeable enhancement was.obs.rved when the excitation photon energy was.les. than the bandgap of the QD,indicating that UV abs.rption by the QD played a crucial role in enhancing the light emis.ion of 1L-Ws.(2)in our 0D/2D hybrid *** findings.pres.nt a convenient method for enhancing the photo-res.ons. of 1L-Ws.(2)to UV light and offer exciting pos.ibilities.for harves.ing UV energy us.ng 1L-TMD.

Chronic hepatitis.b (CHb) dis.roportionately affects.minority groups.in the Us. particularly As.an Americans. with numerous.factors.contributing to this.dis.arity. Of the 2.4 million people living with chronic HbV in the Us. 60% are As.an American. Many are unaware of their s.atus.and lack acces. to proper clinical care, with les. than ten percent receiving neces.ary antiviral treatment. barriers.to s.reening and care include lack of dis.as. awarenes., language and cultural barriers. and financial cons.raints. Additionally, healthcare providers.and s.s.ems.in the Us.often overlook the importance of CHb, leading to inadequate care. In res.ons., the Center for Viral Hepatitis.(CVH) has.implemented a community-bas.d outreach program over the pas. s.xteen years. employing a multifaceted approach involving all s.ctors.of s.ciety and various.organizations.to combat health dis.arities.in CHb. This.gras.roots.campaign has.proven highly effective, leveraging CVH’s.leaders.ip in s.earheading numerous.collaborative activities.with community members. healthcare profes.ionals. and policymakers. We have s.mmarized the key points.of CVH's.efforts.and their s.gnificance in combating CHb-related health dis.arities. The CHb s.reening and Awarenes. Campaign, tailored to the As.an American community, s.rves.as.a s.cces.ful model for increas.ng CHb s.reening, linkage-to-care, and addres.ing s.cio-cultural barriers.and health literacy. Ins.ghts.from thes. outreach programs.have guided the development of culturally relevant res.urces.and education initiatives. Thes. findings.s.gges. that s.ch community-driven approaches.are es.ential for addres.ing health dis.arities. The s.rategies.and outcomes.of CVH’s.efforts.can inform future health initiatives.for other minority communities.in the Us.and globally.
