Malaria is a severe epidemic disease caused by Plasmodium *** parasite causes critical illness if persisted for longer durations and delay in precise treatment can lead to further *** automatic diagnostic model provides aid for medical practitioners to avail a fast and efficient *** of the existing work either utilizes a fully connected convolution neural network with successive pooling layers which causes loss of information in ***,convolutions can capture spatial invariances but,cannot capture rotational *** to overcome these limitations,this research,develops an Imperative Dynamic routing mechanism with fully trained capsule networks for malaria *** model identifies the presence of malaria parasites by classifying thin blood smears containing samples of parasitized and healthy *** proposed model is compared and evaluated with novel machine vision models evolved over a decade such as VGG,ResNet,DenseNet,*** problems in previous research are cautiously addressed and overhauled using the proposed capsule network by attaining the highest Area under the curve(AUC)and Specificity of 99.03%and 99.43%respectively for 20%test *** understand the underlying behavior of the proposed network various tests are conducted for variant shuffle *** model is analyzed and assessed in distinct environments to depict its resilience and *** provide greater generalization,the proposed network has been tested on thick blood smear images which surpassed with greater performance.

Open Air Interface(OAI)alliance recently introduced a new disaggregated Open Radio Access Networks(O-RAN)framework for next generation telecommunications and *** disaggregated architecture is open,automated,software defined,virtual,and supports the latest advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence(AI)Machine Learning(AI/ML).This novel intelligent architecture enables programmers to design and customize automated applications according to the business needs and to improve quality of service in fifth generation(5G)and beyond 5G(b5G).Its disaggregated and multivendor nature gives the opportunity to new startups and small vendors to participate and provide cheap hardware software solutions to keep the market *** paper presents the disaggregated and programmable O-RAN architecture focused on automation,AI/ML services,and applications with Flexible Radio access network Intelligent Controller(FRIC).We schematically demonstrate the reinforcement learning,external applications(xApps),and automation steps to implement this disaggregated O-RAN *** idea of this research paper is to implement an AI/ML enabled automation system for software defined disaggregated O-RAN,which monitors,manages,and performs AI/ML-related services,including the model deployment,optimization,inference,and training.

Cavity-agnostic acoustofluidic manipulations enabled by guided flexural waves on a membrane acoustic waveguide actuator

This article presents an in-depth exploration of the acoustofluidic capabilities of guided flexural waves(GFWs)generated by a membrane acoustic waveguide actuator(MAWA).by harnessing the potential of GFWs,cavity-agnostic advanced particle manipulation functions are achieved,unlocking new avenues for microfluidic systems and lab-on-a-chip *** localized acoustofluidic effects of GFWs arising from the evanescent nature of the acoustic fields they induce inside a liquid medium are numerically investigated to highlight their unique and promising *** traditional acoustofluidic technologies,the GFWs propagating on the MAWA’s membrane waveguide allow for cavity-agnostic particle manipulation,irrespective of the resonant properties of the fluidic ***,the acoustofluidic functions enabled by the device depend on the flexural mode populating the active region of the membrane *** demonstrations using two types of particles include in-sessile-droplet particle transport,mixing,and spatial separation based on particle diameter,along with streaming-induced counter-flow virtual channel generation in microfluidic PDMS *** experiments emphasize the versatility and potential applications of the MAWA as a microfluidic platform targeted at lab-on-a-chip development and showcase the MAWA’s compatibility with existing microfluidic systems.

DEAR EDITOR,big cats,such as Amur tigers(Panthera tigris altaica)and Amur leopards(*** orientalis),are apex predator and have evolved specialized traits for hunting and carnivory(Moya et al.,2022),thus playing a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem integrity by regulating prey-predator ***,human-induced pressures,habitat fragmentation,and environmental alterations have restricted these species in small and isolated ***,all extant big cats are categorized as endangered or threatened according to their conservation *** tigers and Amur leopards share overlapping geographic ranges,habitats,and certain prey species in the forests of Northeast Asia(Jiang et al.,2015).To reduce interspecies conflict,these carnivores exhibit differentiated dietary and temporal *** tigers predominantly prey on large ungulates,while Amur leopards hunt small to medium-sized animals(Sugimoto et al.,2016).Additionally,they occupy different temporal niches,with tigers being active at night and leopards more active during the *** spatial and temporal niche partitioning,interspecific competition between these two species is ***,benefiting from their greater size,have a competitive advantage over leopards,which can manifest in occasional leopard predation by tigers and declines in leopard populations with increasing tiger density(Jiang et al.,2015).Tigers also displace leopards from marginal habitats in nature reserves where they coexist.

Hydro-elastic computational analysis of a marine propeller using two-way fluid structure interaction

Marine propellers have complex geometry and their performance is determined by costly and time consuming open water *** of numerical techniques helps researchers in effective design of *** approaches are used that predicted either hydrodynamic and acoustic response or structural ***-way fluid-structure interaction(FSI)analysis is a very useful approach providing all three responses which helps in the design,analysis and optimization of a *** objective of this paper is to predict the hydro-elastic response of a propeller using two-way FSI on a 0.2m diameter,DTMb-4119 propeller using ANSYS ***-way FSI analysis is carried out using system coupling approach that transfers the data between the structural and fluid *** turbulence effects are captured using the large-eddy simulation(LES)model and the Ffowcs Williams Hawkings(FWH)acoustic model is used for evaluating the sound pressure level(SPL)generated by *** is extended to evaluate the hydro-elastic and acoustic response of the propeller after validating the hydrodynamic performance with the experimental result in the *** results from Two-way FSI analysis are in close agreement when compared with the one-way FSI ***-way FSI can accommodate the peak value of stress and deformation developed during the initial part of the transient solution which is important in the design of *** study reveals that metallic(NAb)propeller can be replaced by a composite *** acoustic response from two-way FSI analysis will be more realistic due to the consideration of hydro-elastic effect of propeller.

Pre-Trained Deep Neural Network-based Computer-Aided breast Tumor Diagnosis Using ROI Structures

Deep neural network(DNN)based computer-aided breast tumor diagnosis(CAbTD)method plays a vital role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast ***,a brightness mode(b-mode)ultrasound image derives training feature samples that make closer isolation toward the infection ***,it is expensive due to a metaheuristic search of features occupying the global region of interest(ROI)structures of input ***,it may lead to the high computational complexity of the pre-trained DNN-based CAbTD *** paper proposes a novel ensemble pretrained DNN-based CAbTD method using global-and local-ROI-structures of b-mode ultrasound *** conveys the additional consideration of a local-ROI-structures for further enhan-cing the pretrained DNN-based CAbTD method’s breast tumor diagnostic performance without degrading its visual *** features are extracted at various depths(18,50,and 101)from the global and local ROI structures and feed to support vector machine for better *** the experimental results,it has been observed that the combined local and global ROI structure of small depth residual network ResNet18(0.8 in%)has produced significant improve-ment in pixel ratio as compared to ResNet50(0.5 in%)and ResNet101(0.3 in%),***,the pretrained DNN-based CAbTD methods have been tested by influencing local and global ROI structures to diagnose two specific breast tumors(benign and Malignant)and improve the diagnostic accuracy(86%)compared to Dense Net,Alex Net,VGG Net,and Google ***,it reduces the computational complexity due to the small depth residual network ResNet18,respectively.

In this paper, we have applied the Lie algebraic model to nano-bio molecules to determine the vibrational spectra of different stretching and bending vibrational modes. The determined vibrational energy levels by the Lie algebraic model are compared with the experimental data. The results from the theoretical mode[ are consistent with the experimental data. The vibrational energy levels are clustering in the excited states.

Evaluating the Efficiency of Cadmium Removal by Alginate Hydrogels from Water Using 5,7-Dibromo-8-hydroxyquinoline as a Complexing Reagent

Cadmium toxicity in wastewater is a rising concern due to industries like batteries,metallurgy,electroplating,plastic stabilizers,and *** quantitative detection of Cd^(2+)and its remediation from wastewater samples are of major concern from an environmental point of *** the present work,an effective spectrophotometric method has been reported using 5,7-dibromo-8-hydroxyquinoline(DbHQ)as a complexing agent for Cd^(2+).This method has advantages like using recyclable,less toxic solvents and easy sample *** limit of detection,limit of quantification,and sensitivity of the proposed method were found to be 33.30,36.70 mg L^(−1),and 2×10^(−3),*** DbHQ method was validated using atomic absorption spectroscopy,and the recovery percentage was more than 98%.These results indicate that DbHQ can be effectively used for monitoring Cd^(2+)in aqueous *** method developed was further employed for monitoring Cd^(2+)adsorption on calcium alginate(AL)*** adsorption studies were done to optimize parameters of Cd^(2+)removal using AL hydrogels,and the data obtained were used for kinetic and thermodynamic *** studies indicated that the pseudo-first-order model showed better fitting,and thermodynamic studies showed Freundlich-like *** maximum adsorption capacity of Cd^(2+)on AL hydrogels was found to be 56.45 mg g^(−1).The validation studies of DbHQ were performed using statistical analysis methods like t-tests and one-way variance.

A new variant of friction-assisted process named friction surface alloying(FSA)for developing surface alloys was demonstrated in the present *** FSA,the dispersed phase is melted and allowed to react with the matrix material to form an alloy at the surface of a metallic *** the present work,magnesium(Mg)sheets and zinc(Zn)powder were selected,and fine grained(~3.5μm)Mg–Zn surface alloy with improved hardness was produced by FSA.X-ray diffraction studies confirmed the formation of intermetallic phases of Mg and Zn at the *** the in vitro degradation studies carried out by immersing in simulated body fluids,a lower corrosion rate was observed for the Mg–Zn surface alloy compared with pure *** surface morphologies after immersion studies indicated large degraded areas on the base Mg compared with Mg–*** results demonstrate the potential of FSA in developing Mg-based surface alloys without melting the substrate to impart better surface properties.
