The present study investigated the antiarrhythmic activity of alcoholic extract of Tinospora cordifolia （T. cordifolia） in CaCl2 induced arrhythmia. CaCl2 （25 mg/kg） was administered by intravenous infusion （iv） to produce arrhythmia in rats. The animals were then treated with T. cordifolia extract （150, 250, and 450 mg/kg） and verapamil （5 mg/kg,iv）. Lead II electrocardiogram was monitored. plasma calcium, sodium and potassium levels were measured. In CaCl2 induced arrhythmia, heart rate was decreased by 41.10%, T. cordifolia at 150, 300, and 450 mg/kg decreased the heart rate by 26.30%, 29.16%, and 38.29%, respectively, and verapamil reduced the heart rate by 9.70% compared to the normal group. The pQRST waves were normalized and atrial and ventricular fibrillation was controlled in rats treated with verapamil and T. cordifolia. CaCl2 increased calcium and sodium levels and decreased potassium levels in blood. T. cordifolia dose-dependently decreased calcium and sodium levels and increased potassium levels. Hence, T. cordifolia can be used in antiarrhythmic clinical settings and beneficial in atrial and ventricular fibrillation and flutter and may be indicated in ventricular tachyarrhythmia.

We demonstrate how the many-body potential energy landscape of carbon can be explored with the nested sampling algorithm,allowing for the calculation of its pressure-temperature phase *** compare four interatomic potential models:Tersoff,EDIp,GAp-20 and its recently updated version,*** evaluation is focused on their macroscopic properties,melting transitions,and identifying thermodynamically stable solid structures up to at least 100 *** phase diagrams of the GAp models show good agreement with experimental ***,we find that the models’description of graphite includes thermodynamically stable phases with incorrect layer *** adding a suitable selection of structures to the database and re-training the potential,we have derived an improved model—GAp-20U+gr—that suppresses erroneous local minima in the graphitic energy *** extreme high pressure nested sampling identifies two novel stable structures in the GAp-20 model,however,the stability of these is not confirmed by electronic structure calculations,highlighting routes to further extend the applicability of the GAp models.

Nano sized La0.4F3：Ce0.45,Tb0.15（core）, La0.4F3：Ce0.45,Tb0.15（Ti O2）（core） shell, La0.55F：Ce0.45, and La0.85F3：Tb0.15 particles were synthesized by adopting co-precipitation technique in acidic environment and coated with Ti O2 to form a core-shell structure by adopting a mechanical dispersion method at room temperature. The synthesized materials were characterized using X-ray diffraction（XRD）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy（UV-Vis） absorption, photoluminescence and lifetime spectroscopy. The crystal structure of La0.4F3：Ce0.45,Tb0.15 remained the same as La F3 after being doped with Ce and Tb ions but with a slight decrease in the lattice parameter. TEM image confirmed the formation of a core-shell structure. The La0.4F3：Ce0.45,Tb0.15/Ti O2 exhibited Tb3＋ fluorescence enhancement by a factor of 1.76. Scintillation from the synthesized materials was also observed under X-ray excitation.

We introduce machine-learned potentials for Ag-pd to describe the energy of alloy configurations over a wide range of *** compare two different *** tensor potentials(MTps)are polynomial-like functions of interatomic distances and *** Gaussian approximation potential(GAp)framework uses kernel regression,and we use the smooth overlap of atomic position(SOAp)representation of atomic neighborhoods that consist of a complete set of rotational and permutational invariants provided by the power spectrum of the spherical Fourier transform of the neighbor *** types of potentials give excellent accuracy for a wide range of compositions,competitive with the accuracy of cluster expansion,a benchmark for this *** both models are able to describe small deformations away from the lattice positions,SOAp-GAp excels at transferability as shown by sensible transformation paths between configurations,and MTp allows,due to its lower computational cost,the calculation of compositional phase *** the fact that both methods perform nearly as well as cluster expansion but yield off-lattice models,we expect them to open new avenues in computational materials modeling for alloys.

Renewable energy production plays a major role in satisfying electricity *** power conversion is one of the most popular renewable energy sources compared to other *** energy conversion has two major types of generators such as the permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator(pMSG)and the Doubly Fed Induction Generator(DFIG).The maximum power tracking algo-rithm is a crucial controller,a wind energy conversion system for generating maximum power in different wind speed *** this article,the DFIG wind energy conversion system was developed in Matrix Laboratory(MATLAb)and designed a machine learning(ML)algorithm for the rotor and grid side *** ML algorithm has been developed and trained in a MATLAb *** are two types of learning algorithms such as supervised and unsupervised *** this research supervised learning is used to power the neural networks and analysis is made for various hidden layers and activation *** results are assessed to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed system.

A systematic study has been carried out on the effects of interface bonding on the strain mediated magnetoelectric （ME） coupling in ferromagnetic-ferroelectric bilayers. The technique used involves the static electric field E tuning of the ferromagnetic resonance （FMR） in yttrium iron garnet （YIG） and lead zirconate titanate （pZT） or lead magnesium niobate-lead titanate （pMN-pT）. A broad band detection technique has been developed for studies over 1 40 GHz in three types of bilayers： epoxy bonded, eutectic bonded and YIG films directly grown onto piezoelectric substrate by electrophoretic deposition. The strength A of the converse ME effect （CME） defined as the ratio of the frequency shift 8f in FMR in E, A = 8f/E, varies over the range 0.8 to 4.3 ***/kV, and is the highest for eutectic bonded samples and is the weakest for epoxy bonded bilayers. The results presented here as of importance for dual electric and magnetic field tunable ferrite ferroelectric microwave resonators and filters.

This paper reports improved performance of discharge plasma in raw engine exhaust treatment. For the purpose of investigation, both filtered and raw diesel engine exhaust were separately treated by the discharge plasma. In raw exhaust environment, the discharge plasma exhibits a superior performance with regard to NOx removal, energy consmnption and formation of by-products. In this study, experiments were conducted at conditions of different temperatures and loads.

A cascaded system of electrical discharges (non-thermal plasma) andadsorption process was investigated for the removal of oxides of Nitrogen (NO_x) and totalhydrocarbons (THC) from an actual diesel engine exhaust. The non-thermal plasma and adsorptionprocesses were separately studied first and then the cascaded process was studied. In this study,different types of adsorbents were used. The NO_x removal efficiency was higher withplasma-associated adsorption (cascaded) process compared to the individual processes and the removalefficiency was found almost invariant in time. When associated by plasma, among the adsorbentsstudied, activated charcoal and MS-13X were more effective for NO_x and THC removal *** experiments were conducted at no load and at 50 % load conditions. The plasma reactor was keptat room temperature throughout the experiment, while the temperature of the adsorbent reactor wasvaried. A relative comparison of adsorbents was discussed at the end.

Soluble fiber-rich fenugreek seeds(Trigonella foenum-graecum)and garlic(Allium sativum)are understood to exert cholesterol-lowering and antioxidant *** cardioprotective influence of a combination of fenugreek seeds and garlic by their antioxidant influence was evaluated in hypercholesterolemic rats administered *** rats were maintained on high-cholesterol diet for 8 weeks along with dietary interventions of fenugreek(10%),garlic(2%)and their *** infarction was induced with isoproterenol *** circulatory troponin,disturbed activities of cardiac ATpases,increased serum iron and decreased ceruloplasmin confirmed myocardial *** lipid peroxides accompanied with reduced antioxidant molecules caused by isoproterenol and altered activities of antioxidant enzymes in serum and heart in induced myocardial necrosis were countered by dietary fenugreek,garlic,and fenugreek+*** fenugreek seeds and garlic ameliorated isoproterenol-induced compromised antioxidant status,the cardioprotective effect being higher by the combination of fenugreek seeds and garlic.
