The aim of this study was to record demersal species from lagoon in luang Island,a small and remote island in Maluku,*** and qualitative methods were employed with the assistance of the local fishers using 4 different methods of fishing:gillnets,spear guns,traps,and *** knowledge informed fish abundance and frequency of occurrence.A total of 348 individual fish distributed across 53 species were recorded from the catch of 4 gear ***-Curtis similarity scores of fish assemblages at different habitats was ranged from 7.19%to 10.35%.The nMDS bi-plot visualized a distinct dimension with which to allocate 3 habitats separately from the sand-seagrass *** similarity of species at 4 different habitats(AnOSIM R^(2)=0.124,P=0.002)suggested that the habitat parameter was not able to predict different communities of *** paper is the first contribution on the composition of lagoon ichthyofaunal in Southwest Maluku *** attitude towards marine resource exploitation such as traditional conservation,less fishing pressure and marine culture will maintain the healthy ichthyofaunal assemblages in a tropical lagoon ecosystem.

Magnesium-based materials show great potential for producing biodegradable stents,but their high corrosion rates are a *** study investigates whether ultrasound melt treatment can change the corrosion response of an extruded AZ91D-1.0%Ca(wt.%)in Earle's balanced Salt Solution by tailoring the intermetallics'morphology in the as-extruded *** results showed that the wires from ultrasound-treated ingots corroded faster than non-treated ones in immersion for up to 6 *** trend shifted for longer periods,and ultrasound-treated material showed lower corrosion rates and uniform corrosion,while the non-treated material displayed localized corrosion *** testing of the wires demonstrated that immersion in EbSS lowered the tensile strength and elongation at fracture due to material degradation,regardless of the processing ***,this decline was sharper in the non-treated *** findings suggest that ultrasound melt processing can be a promising method for improving the corrosion resistance of magnesium-based materials,paving the way for their use in manufacturing biodegradable stents.

The upgrade of the MAX-lab injector and the construction of MAX Ⅲ, provided the opportunity for upgrading the tagged-photon facility and thus lead to the possibility of more extensive program in nuclear physics research. This upgrade increased the injected electron energy to an eventual maximum of 250 MeV and allows for the extraction of electrons from the MAX Ⅰ ring operated in the stretcher mode. The first stretched beam was delivered in September 2005. The tagged-photon facility was commissioned in parallel with the commissioning of new experimental equipment. The PAC approved experimental program is current in progress, including measurements of pion photoproduction below the △（1232）. The efforts at the tagged photon-facility are pursued within an international collaboration with around fifty members.

Purpose:Compared with healthy individuals,patients with peripheral artery disease(PAD)generally have a very high risk of subclinical Coronary artery disease(CAD)and cardiovascular *** determine the correlation between CAD in PAD patients,thereby promoting the lifetime of PAD patients and reducing the serious impacts of ***:This clinical-based cross-sectional study comprised 100 consecutive patients in India from 2014 to *** this research,PAD patients were screened for CAD by treadmill stress test and cardiac colour Doppler *** addition,this study performed coronary angiography followed by peripheral angiography for patients who could not perform the treadmill ***:With the statistical results,the study observed a high prevalence of CAD in PAD patients that can be detected only with ***,30.93%of asymptomatic CAD prevalence was observed in PAD *** study strengthens the need for coronary angiography in all symptomatic lower limb PAD cases to detect early CAD,particularly in patients with diabetes and ***:There exists a strong correlation between PAD and ***,precise diagnosis followed by supervision of PAD patients is significant for avoiding local progression of cardiovascular risk.

background:Habitat loss and fragmentation in the Sierra Madre Oriental(SMO)ecological corridor have negative impacts on the movement and distribution of mammalian species that are of great ecological and evolutionary *** of the SMO ecological corridor that is located in the state of Hidalgo is less studied despite being a potential dispersal route for *** objectives of this study were to evaluate the presence and activity of terrestrial mammals in the riparian and non‑riparian zones of ***:Camera traps detected 15 mammalian species(i.e.,14 native and 1 domestic)in the non‑riparian zone,and 12 mammalian species in the riparian zone(i.e.,10 wild and 2 domestic).The riparian corridor was mainly used by opportunistic medium‑sized carnivores,while large carnivores and their potential prey were more frequent in the non‑riparian ***:Our findings suggest terrestrial mammals avoid the use of natural corridors due to the presence of domestic dogs,cattle and humans and look for new dispersal routes to move through their habitat and find the resources they need to *** though some species can use disturbed corridors to move and find resources,they will change their activity patterns to avoid contact with humans and potential threats like *** is,therefore,crucial to identify not one,but several corridors that must be preserved to improve the connectivity of terrestrial mammals in disturbed landscapes.

Un-doped and Co-doped ZnO nanoparticles （nPs） with different weight ratios （0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 wt% of Co） were synthesized by a facile and rapid microwave-assisted combustion method using urea as a fuel. The prepared nPs were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, high resolution scanning electron microscopy （HR-SEM）, energy dispersive X-ray analysis （EDX）, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy （DRS）, photoluminescence （Pl） spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry （VSM）. XRD patterns refined by the Rietveld method indicated that Co-doped ZnO had a single pure phase with wurtzite structure suggesting that Co^2＋ ions would occupy Zn^2＋ ionic sites within the ZnO crystal lattice. Interestingly, the morphology was found to convert substantially from grains to nanoparticles with close-packed periodic array of hexagonal-like shape and then into randomly distributed spherical nPs with the variation of Co-content. The optical band gap estimated using DRS was found to be red-shifted from 3.22 eV for the un-doped ZnO nPs then decrease up to 2.88 eV with increasing Co-content. Pl spectra showed a strong green emission band thus confirming the formation of pure single ZnO phase. Magnetic studies showed that Co-doped ZnO nPs exhibited room temperature ferromagnetism （RTFM） and that the saturation magnetization attained a maximum value of 2.203 × 10^-3 emu/g for the highest Co-content. The antibacterial studies performed against a set of bacterial strains showed that the 2.0 wt% Co-doped ZnO nPs possessed a greater antibacterial effect.
