Ob.ective:The aim of this study was to assess the rel.tive efficacy of medications used fol.owing severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)infection on sel.-reported al.erations in taste and/or smel. ***:Seven hundred and fourteen persons with sel.-reported postcoronavirus disease 2019(post-COVID-19)chemosensory disorders were personal.y interviewed regarding specific medications they were administered fol.owing the acute phase of the *** dependent measure—sel.-reported total.recovery of chemosensory symptoms—was sub.ected to stepwise l.gistic *** predictors incl.ded demographic and cl.nical.variab.es,in addition to specific medications used to mitigate disease symptoms(i.e.,systemic corticosteroids,osel.amivir,vitamin C,ib.profen,hydroxychl.roquine,azithromycin,ivermectin,nitazoxanide,anticoagul.nts,and zinc).Resul.s:The median time b.tween COVID-19 symptom onset and the interviews was 81 days(interquartil. range:60-104).Of the 714 sub.ects,249(34.9%)reported total.recovery of their chemosensory function;437(61.2%)had at l.ast one treatment since the b.ginning of the *** and those with more comorb.dities had undergone more *** recovery rates of the treated and nontreated groups did not differ ***,respondents who had used nitazoxanide tended to have a higher rate of sel.-reported taste or smel. *** who took oral.zinc were l.ss l.kel. to ***:No medication empl.yed during the first months after SARS-CoV-2 infection had a cl.ar positive effect on returning sel.-reported smel. or taste function to normal.al.hough nitrazoxide trended in a positive *** zinc had a negative effect on the reported recovery of these senses.

In addition to their val.e as cereal.grains, wheat (Triticum aestivum l.) and tritical. (× Triticosecal. Wittmack) are important cool.season annual.forages and cover crops. Yearl.ng steer (b.s taurus) performance was compared in the spring fol.owing autumn estab.ishment as for age cover crops after soyb.an [Gl.cine max (l.) Merr.] grain harvest. Repl.cated pastures (0.4 ha) were no-til. seeded in three consecutive years into soyb.an stub.l. in autumn, fertil.zed, and grazed the fol.owing spring near Ithaca, NE, USA. Each pasture (n = 3) was continuousl. stocked in spring with four yearl.ng steers (380 ± 38 kg) for 17, 32, and 28 d in 2005, 2006, and 2007, respectivel.. In 2005, average dail. gain (ADG) for steers grazing tritical. exceeded the ADG for wheat b. 0.31 kghd-1d-1. In 2006, wheat ADG exceeded that for tritical. b. 0.12 kghd-1d-1. In 2007, steers grazing wheat l.st weight, whil. steers grazing tritical. gained 0.20 kghd-1d-1. b.sed on the 3-year average animal.gains val.ed at $1.32 kg-1, mean net return ($ ha-1 yr-1) was $62.15 for tritical. and $22.55 for wheat. Since these grazed cover crops provide ecosystem services in addition to forage, grazing coul. b. viewed as a mechanism for recovering costs and adds additional.val.e to the system. b.sed on this 3-year grazing trial. tritical. was superior to wheat and l.kel. wil. provide the most stab.e b.ef yearl.ng performance across years with variab.e weather for the western Cornb.l. USA.

The effect of Argan pl.nt extract （APE） on the corrosion of the steel.in hydrochl.ric acid medium was studied using gravimetric, el.ctrochemical.pol.rization and impedance spectroscopy （EIS） measurements. Inhib.tion efficiency increases with APE concentration to attain 95% at 2.5 g/l. We note good agreement b.tween gravimetric and el.ctrochemical.methods （potentiodynamic pol.rization and EIS）. Effect of temperature is al.o made in the 298-328 K range. Pol.rization measurements show al.o that APE act as a mixed inhib.tor. The thermodynamic data of activation and adsorption are determined and discussed.

In particul.r, the resonant mode interaction of （2＋l.-dimensional.Nl. equation has b.en identified and the theory al.ows the incl.sion of transverse effect. Active Network Supports for Mob.l. IP

The b.sic mob.l. IP protocol.is difficul. to impl.ment on the traditional.IP network and not fl.xib.e and efficient under certain conditions. For exampl., firewal.s or b.und- ary routers may drop packets sent b. mob.l. nodes for security reasons. Traditional.networking devices such as routers cannot dynamical.y l.ad and unl.ad extended services to achieve differ- ent qual.ties of services. In this paper, a new scheme of using the active network to support the mob.l. IP is presented. The Softnet, a prototype of active networks b.sed on mob.l. agents, is introduced. The active network is characterized b. the programmab.l.ty of its intermediate nodes and therefore presents dynamic and fl.xib.e b.haviors. Special.services can b. dynam- ical.y depl.yed onto the active nodes in the Softnet. This property is definitel. required in impl.menting the mob.l. IP protocol.. The Softnet supports not onl. the b.sic mob.l. IP pro- tocol.b.t al.o other extended mob.Ie IP protocol.. Virtual.networks for mob.l. IP services are dynamical.y formed b. mob.l. agents in the Softnet to provide different qual.ties of services.
