The shape transition between the vibrational U(5)and deformed c-unstable o(6)dynamical symmetries of sd interacting boson mo.el has been investigated by considering a modified o(6)Hamiltonian,providing that the coefficients of the Casimir operator of o(5)are N-dependent,where N is the total number of *** modified o(6)Hamiltonian does not contain the number operator of the d boson,which is responsible for the vibrational *** addition,the deformation features can be achieved without using the SU(3)limit by adding to the o(6)dynamical symmetry the three-body interaction[QQQ]^(0),where Q is the o(6)symmetric quadrupole ***,triaxiality can be generated through the inclusion of the cubic d-boson interaction[d+d+d+]^(3)·∣ddd∣^(3).The classical limit of the potential energy surface(PES),which represents the expected value of the total Hamiltonian in a coherent state,is studied and *** modified o(6)mo.el is applied to the even–even^124-132 Xe *** parameters for the Hamiltonian and the PESs are calculated using a simulated search program to obtain the minimum root mean square deviation between the calculated and experimental excitation energies and B(E2)values for a number of low-lying levels.A good agreement between the calculations and experiment results is found.

The power consumption is considered to be the most important factor affecting the production cost of fer romanganese alloy. Different parameters affecting the energy consumption for industrial production of high carbon ferromanganese HCFeMn were investigated in a closed submerged arc furnace. The analysis of industrial data revealed that the most energy consumed factors were the direct reduction by solid carbon, Boudouard reaction, metal and slag formation, and decomposition of fluxing materials （limestone and dolomite）. To reduce the energy con- sumption and minimize the energy losses in the production process of HCFeMn, it was recommended to use Mn blend with minimum Mn to Fe ratio of 6 and lower Sio2 content or higher basicity. The added coke must be adjusted according to the material balance to prevent the over-coke and to minimize the highly endothermic ＂Boudouard reac tion＂. In addition, it was recommended to work at basic slags with the ratio of （Cao＋Mgo） to Si（）2 equal to 1.0- 1.2 instead of much higher slag basicity. Furthermore, the mass losses had to be minimized through adjusting the handling and charging process and to take care of all metal produced.

The ecological risk assessment for Al,Zn,Cu,Ni,V,Pb,Cd,and Hg in surface sediment collected from the Egyptian Red Sea coast was evaluated using the Geo-accumulation Index(Igeo).Sediment Enrichment Factor（SEF） and Potential Ecological Risk Index（PERI） *** predominant heavy metal,aluminum,showed high concentrations along both of Aqaba Gulf（4378.8 ± 2554.1 μg/g） and southern part of the Red Sea（2972.8 + 1527.5 μg/g）.while it recorded the lowest concentration in Suez Gulf（829.7 ± 398.2 μg/g）.The determined heavy metal concentrations had the order of Al > Zn >-Ni > V > Pb > Cu > Cd > *** statistical analyses showed some correlations among the heavy metals *** international sediment quality guidelines were used to estimate the quality of the collected ***,the recorded average heavy metals concentrations were lower than those of the permissible contents for sediment quality *** Geo-accumulation index calculations(Igeo) proved that the investigated region could be classified as an unpolluted *** Enrichment Factor(KSEF) study showed high values in Suez Gulf *** single pollution index analysis of heavy metals in the sediments（Ci_f） indicated that Al,Zn,V,and Pb were of natural origin,while Ni,Cd and Hg were seriously affected by human ***,amongst,all the determined heavy metals,Cd and Hg gave moderate ecological risk indicators.

Diabetic retinopathy(DR) is the most feared ocular manifestation of diabetes. DR is characterized by progressive retinal damage that may eventually result in blindness. Clinically, this blindness is caused by progressive damage to the retinal microvasculature, which leads to ischemia, retinal swelling, and neovascularization. Retinopathy is associated with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, with DR being the leading cause of new onset blindness in United States adults. Despite this strong association with diabetes, it must be noted that the development of retinopathy lesions is multifactorial and may occur in individuals without an established history of diabetes. Metabolic syndrome is a multifactorial condition of central obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, dyslipidemia, hypertension, fasting hyperglycemia, and insulin resistance. Although several studies examined the individual components observed in the metabolic syndrome in relation to the development of DR, there is conflicting data as to the association of the metabolic syndrome with the development of retinopathy lesions in nondiabetic subjects. This review will summarize the current literature on the evidence of the metabolic syndrome on retinopathy in subjects with and without an established history of diabetes. This review will also discuss some of the mechanisms through which metabolic syndrome can contribute to the development of retinopathy.

Hartree-Fock calculations are carried out to describe some properties of 16o and 40Ca nuclei using the two forms of fish-bone potential (I and II). A computer simulation search program has been introduced to solve this problem. The Hilbert space was restricted to three dimensional variational space spanned by single spherical harmonic oscillator orbits. Binding energies, root mean square radii and form factors are found to have a good fit with experimental data.

objective: To investigate molecular and serological prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii(***) in pregnant women and sheep in ***: Blood samples collected from healthy 364 pregnant women and 170 sheep were investigated for *** antibodies and parasitemia using highly specific and sensitive surface antigen(TgSAG2) based enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(elISA)and real time-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results: overall prevalence of *** was 51.76%, 17.65% in sheep, 33.79%, 11.81%in pregnant women, using elISA and RT-PCR *** differences in *** prevalence were observed on the basis of contact with cats or soil in pregnant women using either RT-PCR or *** pregnant women, a significant increase was detected in aged and those eating under-cooked mutton using simultaneous elISA/***: Consumption of under-cooked infected mutton is an important source of human infection and the combination of the two assays provide accurate and precise data during infection.

The complexation of solid urea with(Co^(2+)),(Cu^(2+))or(Ni^(2+))ions has been studied by using dielectric spectroscopy technique over a wide frequency range at different temper ***'structure were investigated by XRD,FTIR and FT-Raman *** and Raman analy sis indicated that the urea coordinates with the metal atoms through the same oxygen-metal bond(o-M).Furthermore,XRD analysis showed that the samples have polycrystalline structure with single *** pemittivity of complexes was found at much higher values than that of the ligand(pure urea),showing structure ***,two relaxation peaks were observed in the dielectric loss spectra corresponding to the orientation po larization of urea molecule,and some parts of urea molecule may be NH2 *** relaxation peaks correspond to thermally activated because they were shifted to higher frequency with the temperature *** peak position for the low frequency relaxation peak was observed lht the same relaxation time(τ=7.6× 10^(-4) s),corresponding to the coordination mode through the same o-M *** of this work is the successful finding of the relationship between the crystalline phase,coordination mode and the dy namic molecular behavior of solid urea and its complexes using the dielectric spec-troscopy techn ique.

In this work, PbS and PbTe nanomaterials with various morphologies were synthesized by a hydrothermal method. The structural properties were investigated by using X-ray diffraction(XRD) and corresponding scanning electron microscopy together with their EDX analysis. Both the PbS and PbTe nanomaterials possess good polycrystalline structure. The crystallite size, determined from the XRD data, of PbS is 5 nm whereas the corresponding value of PbTe is 2.69 nm. SEM micrographs reveal that the prepared PbS nanomaterial has starshaped structures, micro-flowers, some cubes, and semi-dendrites, whereas PbTe has semi-flower structures. Additionally, the dielectric properties have been studied in a broad frequency range from 0.1 Hz up to 1 MHz at temperatures from 298-423 K. The real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric constant ε' and ε" of PbTe are comparatively higher than those of PbS. Moreover, the dielectric data were analyzed on the basis of the electric modulus.
