Nowadays,the world is fighting a dangerous form of Coronavirus that represents an emerging *** its early appearance in China Wuhan city,many countries undertook several strict regulations including lockdowns and social distancing ***,these procedures have badly impacted the world *** and isolating positive/probable virus infected cases using a tree tracking mechanism constitutes a backbone for containing and resisting such fast spreading *** helping this hard effort,this research presents an innovative case study based on big data processing techniques to build a complete tracking system able to identify the central areas of infected/suspected people,and the new suspected cases using health records integration with mobile stations spatio-temporal data *** main idea is to identify the positive cases historical movements by tracking their phone location for the last 14 days(i.e.,the virus incubation period).Then,by acquiring the citizen’s mobile phone locations for the same period,the system will be able to measure the Euclidean distances between positive case locations and other nearby people to identify the in-contact suspected-cases using parallel clustering and classification ***,the daily change of the clusters size and its centroids will be used to predict new regions of infection,as well as,new ***,this approach will support infection avoidance by alerting people approaching areas of high probability of infection using their mobile GPS *** case study has been developed as a simulation system consisting of three components;positive cases/citizens movement’s data generation subsystem,big data processing platform including CPU/GPU tasks,and data visualization/map geotagging *** processing of such a big data system requires intensive computing ***,GPU tasks carried out to achieve high performance and accelerate the data *** to the sim

A simple, accurate and precise spectrophotometric method has been proposed for the determination of eleven cephalosporins, namely;cefaclor monohydrate, cefadroxil monohydrate, cefalexin anhydrous, cefradine anhydrous, cefotaxime sodium, cefoperazone sodium, ceftriaxone sodium, ceftazidime penthydrate, cefazolin sodium, cefixime and cefpodoxime pro- xetil in bulk drug and in pharmaceutical formulations. The method depends on hydrolysis of the studied drugs using 0.5M NaOh at 100°C and subsequent reaction of the formed sulfide ions with NBD-Cl (4-chloro-7-nitrobenzo-2-oxa-1, 3-diazole) to form a yellow-colored chromogen measured at 390 nm. Different variables affecting the reaction (e.g. NaOh concentration, hydrolysis time, NBD-Cl concentration and diluting solvent) were studied and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, linear relationships with good correlation coefficients (0.9990- 0.9999) were found in the range of 5-160 μg mL-1 for all studied drugs. The limits of assay detection and quantitiation ranged from 0.289 to 5.867 and from 0.878 to 17.778 μg mL-1;respectively. The accuracy and precision of the proposed method were satisfactory. The method was successfully applied for analysis of the studied drugs in their pharmaceutical formulations and the recovery percentages ranged from 96.6 to 103.5%.

A simple, precise and accurate kinetic spectro-photometric method for determination of ce-fradine anhydrous, cefaclor monohydrate, ce-fadroxil monohydrate, cefalexin anhydrous and cefixime in bulk and in pharmaceutical formula-tions has been developed. The method based on a kinetic investigation of the reaction of the free carboxylic acid group of the drug with a mixture of potassium iodate and potassium iodide at room temperature to form yellow coloured triiodide ions. The reaction was followed up spectrophotometrically by measuring the increase in absorbance at 352 nm as a function of time. The initial rate, fixed time, variable time and rate-constant methods were adopted for constructing the calibration curves but fixed time method has been found to be more applicable. The analytical performance of the method, in terms of accuracy and precision, was statistically validated;the results were satisfactory. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of the studied drugs in commercial pharmaceutical formulations. Statistical comparison of the results with a well established reported method showed excellent ag- reement and proved that there is no significant difference in the accuracy and precision.

Nitrogen in Relation to Photosynthetic Capacity and Accumulation of Osmoprotectant and Nutrients in Brassica Genotypes Grown Under Salt Stress

Different strategies of the application of nutrients are required to overcome the adverse effects of mustard （Brassica juncea L.） in response to NaCl stress. The objective of the present study was to determine if different added levels of nitrogen （N） in growth medium could alleviate the adverse effects of salt stress on photosynthetic capacity and accumulation of osmoprotectants and nutrients. 14 days mustard seedlings of salt-sensitive （cv. Chuutki） and salt-tolerant （cv. Radha） genotypes were fed with：（i） 0 mmol L^-1 NaCl ＋ 0 mg N kg^-1 sand （control）, （ii） 90 mmol L^-1 NaCl ＋ 30 mg N kg^-1 sand, （iii） 90 mmol L^-1 NaCl ＋60 mg N kg^-1 sand, （iv） 90 mmol L^-1 NaCl ＋90 mg N kg^-1 sand and （v） 90 mmol L^-1NaCl＋ 120 mg N kg^-1 sand. Under the condition of salinity stress, N application caused a significant ameliorative effect on both genotypes with respect to growth attributes [fresh weight （FW） and dry weight （DW）] and physio-biochemical parameters [percent water content （WC）, net photosynthetic rate （PN）, stomatal conductance （gs）, total chlorophyll （Ch1）, carbonic anhydrase （CA） activity and malondialdehyde （MDA）, nitrogen （N）, potassium （K） and sodium （Na） contents, and K/Na ratio] and yield attributes （number of pods/plant, seeds/pod and seed yield/plant）. The salt-tolerant genotype exhibited maximum value for growth, physio-biochemical and yield attributes at 60 mg N kg 1 sand than that of salt-sensitive genotype. These results suggest that application of N may ameliorate most of the attributes and prove to be a physiological remedy to increase the tolerance against the ill effects of salt stress in Brassicas.

Conversion of rice straw (RS) as one of agricultural plant wastes (about 45% of the volume of rice production) to valuable industrial product was achieved, by grafting different amounts of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEM) on it using potassium permanganate/nitric acid redox system. This was done to obtain six levels of poly (DMAEM)—rice straw graft copolymers (PDMAEMRS) having different graft yields (expressed as N%) with increasing order and designated as (PDMAEMRS 1 to PDMAEMRS 6). The latter copolymers were dispersed in aqueous solution of heavy metal ions Cu (II) ions and filtered to form rice straw co-polymer—metal ions complex. Different factors affecting the heavy metal ions removal such as ph, extent of grafting, treatment time and rice straw dose were studied in detail. It was found from the obtained results that;the residual metal ions removal from their aqueous solutions increased with 1) increasing the extent of grafting of PDMAEMRS i.e. from PDMAEMRS 1 to PDMAEMRS 6;2) increasing the ph of the metal ions solution complex from 1 to 8;3) increasing the rice straw dosage from 0.50 to 2.0 g, then leveled off thereafter;4) increasing the time of the reaction up to 20 minute then leveled off after that. On the other hand, Pb (II), Cd (II) and hg (II) ions were also removed from their solutions with different extent. Furthermore, the prepared co-polymer could be recovered by washing the metal ions from the complex with weak acid 1 N hNO3 (ph 2) and the metal-binding activity of the rice straw was slightly reduced by this process. Finally, the ability of PDMAEMRS to remove three types of acid dyes from their solutions was also reported.
