Heart disease(HD)is a serious widespread life-threatening *** heart of patients with HD fails to pump sufcient amounts of blood to the entire *** the occurrence of HD early and efciently may prevent the manifestation of the debilitating effects of this disease and aid in its effective *** methods for diagnosing HD are sometimes unreliable and insufcient in analyzing the related *** an alternative,noninvasive medical procedures based on machine learning(ML)methods provide reliable HD diagnosis and efcient prediction of HD ***,the existing models of automated ML-based HD diagnostic methods cannot satisfy clinical evaluation criteria because of their inability to recognize anomalies in extracted symptoms represented as classication features from patients with *** this study,we propose an automated heart disease diagnosis(AHDD)system that integrates a binary convolutional neural network(CNN)with a new multi-agent feature wrapper(MAFW)*** MAFW model consists of four software agents that operate a genetic algorithm(GA),a support vector machine(sVM),and Naïve Bayes(NB).The agents instruct the GA to perform a global search on HD features and adjust the weights of sVM and BN during initial classication.A nal tuning to CNN is then performed to ensure that the best set of features are included in HD *** CNN consists of ve layers that categorize patients as healthy or with HD according to the analysis of optimized HD *** evaluate the classication performance of the proposed AHDD system via 12 common ML techniques and conventional CNN models by using across-validation technique and by assessing six evaluation *** AHDD system achieves the highest accuracy of 90.1%,whereas the other ML and conventional CNN models attain only 72.3%–83.8%accuracy on ***,the AHDD system proposed herein has the highest capability to identify patients with *** system can be used by medical

Coupling of dimedone with the diazonium salt of 4-aminoantipyrine afforded 2,3-dimethyl-4-[2-（5,5-dimethyl- 2,6-dioxocyclohex-2-ylidend）-hydrazino]-5-oxo-1-phenylpyrazoline （3）. Reaction of 3 with excess phenylhydrazine gave the mixed trishydrazone derivative 4. Treatment of 3 with hydroxylamine produced the bisoxime 5 which upon dehydrative cyclization with acetic anhydride gave the corrsponding tetrahydrobenzo[d][1,2,3]triazole derivative 7. A one-pot synthesis of 7 was done by reacting 3 with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in pyridine, followed by heatment with acetic anhydride.

Rectal tone and compliance affected in patients with fecal incontinence after fistulotomy

AIM: To investigate the anal sphincter and rectal factors that may be involved in fecal incontinence that develops following fistulotomy(FIAF).METHODs: Eleven patients with FIAF were compared with 11 patients with idiopathic fecal incontinence and with 11 asymptomatic healthy subjects(Hs). All of the study participants underwent anorectal manometry and a barostat study(rectal sensitivity, tone, compliance and capacity). The mean time since surgery was 28 ± 26 mo. The postoperative continence score was 14 ± 2.5(95%CI: 12.4-15.5, st Mark's fecal incontinence grading system).REsULTs: Compared with the Hs, the FIAF patients showed increased rectal tone(42.63 ± 27.69 vs 103.5 ± 51.13, P = 0.002) and less rectal compliance(4.95 ± 3.43 vs 11.77 ± 6.9, P = 0.009). No significant differences were found between the FIAF patients and the Hs with respect to the rectal capacity; thresholds for the non-noxious stimuli of first sensation, gas sensation and urge-to-defecate sensation or the noxious stimulus of pain; anal resting pressure or squeeze pressure; or the frequency or percentage of relaxation of the rectoanal inhibitory reflex. No significant differences were found between the FIAF patients and the patients with idiopathic fecal ***: In patients with FIAF, normal motor anal sphincter function and rectal sensitivity are preserved, but rectal tone and compliance are impaired. The results suggest that FIAF is not due to alterations in rectal sensitivity and that the rectum is more involved than the anal sphincters in the genesis of FIAF.

Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR)deficiency is the most common genetic cause of hyperhomocysteinemia,which has been implicated in the etiology of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RsA).This study was designed to investigate the association between two single nucleotide polymorphisms(sNP)(rs1801133[C677T]and rs1801131[A1298C])in the MTHFR gene and RsA,in *** two sNPs were selected as these polymorphisms have a different effect on the activity and stability of the enzyme,and significantly diverse effects have been reported in relation to the association with *** approval was acquired from the IRB at King saud University(KKUH),saudi Arabia,and written informed consent was obtained from each *** study group comprised of 100 saudi women with unexplained RsA and 100 age-matched controls,both attending KKUH for a routine *** was drawn in EDTA tubes,and DNA was *** was conducted using TaqMan sNP genotyping assay *** frequency of the T allele of C677T was 0.165 in patients and 0.17 in *** frequencies for CC,CT and TT genotypes were 70%,27%and 3%,respectively in RsA,and 71%,24%and 5%,respectively,in the controls(p>0.05).For the A1298C polymorphism,the C allele frequencies were 0.345 in patients and 0.28 in controls,while genotype frequencies for AA,AC and CC genotypes were 44%,43%,and 13%,respectively,in patients,and 54%,36%,and 10%,respectively,in controls(p>0.05).The frequency of CC genotype and C allele of A1298C were higher in the patients with RsA,but not significantly,while C677T genotypes and allele frequencies did not differ between patients and *** results suggested that MTHFR gene polymorphisms are population-specific and may not associate with RsA in saudi women.

The quick spread of the CoronavirusDisease(COVID-19)infection around the world considered a real danger for global *** biological structure and symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to other viral chest maladies,which makes it challenging and a big issue to improve approaches for efficient identification of COVID-19 *** this study,an automatic prediction of COVID-19 identification is proposed to automatically discriminate between healthy and COVID-19 infected subjects in X-ray images using two successful moderns are traditional machine learning methods(e.g.,artificial neural network(ANN),support vector machine(sVM),linear kernel and radial basis function(RBF),k-nearest neighbor(k-NN),Decision Tree(DT),andCN2 rule inducer techniques)and deep learningmodels(e.g.,MobileNets V2,ResNet50,GoogleNet,DarkNet andXception).A largeX-ray dataset has been created and developed,namely the COVID-19 ***(400 healthy cases,and 400 COVID cases).To the best of our knowledge,it is currently the largest publicly accessible COVID-19 dataset with the largest number of X-ray images of confirmed COVID-19 infection *** on the results obtained from the experiments,it can be concluded that all the models performed well,deep learning models had achieved the optimum accuracy of 98.8%in ResNet50 *** comparison,in traditional machine learning techniques, the sVM demonstrated the best result for an accuracy of 95% and RBFaccuracy 94% for the prediction of coronavirus disease 2019.

AIM: To study the effects of ferulic acid on gastrointe-stinal motility both in vitro and in ***: Ferulic acid induced concentration-dependent stimulation of the basal tone of isolated guinea pig ileum (2-20 μmol/L) and isolated rat fundus (0.05-0.4 mmol/L). REsULTs: Ferulic acid significantly accelerated the gastrointestinal transit and gastric emptying in rats in a dose-dependent manner (50-200 mg/kg, po). Cisplatin (2.5-20 mg/kg, ip) induced a dose-dependent delay in gastric emptying in rats. Pretreatment with ferulic acid dose-dependently, significantly reversed the cisplatin-induced delay in gastric emptying. CONCLUsION: The endogenous prostaglandins (PGs) are involved in mediating the stimulant effects of ferulic acid. This effect of dietary ferulic acid may help improve other accompanying gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal discomfort and also may protect against emesis induced by cytotoxic drugs.

Among the crop production factors,preceding crop and tillage management affect the sustainable use of soil resources and ultimately crop growth and *** study aimed at investigating the impact of preceding winter crops(grass or legume)and different tillage systems on forage yield,quality and nutritive values of three summer grass(sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte)and two legume forage crops(cowpea and guar)under arid *** results exhibited that growing forage crops after legumes(as berseem clover)produced the highest fresh and dry forage yields and quality attributes compared with grasses(as wheat)with the exception of crude fiber content,which was ***,tillage practices showed positive impact on forage yields and quality *** maximum forage yields and quality parameters were recorded under conventional tillage(CT)practice compared with reduced tillage(RT)and no-tillage(NT)*** the evaluated crops,the highest yields of fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein and total digestible nutrient were exhibited by grass forage crops(sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte),whereas the highest crude protein content and the digestible energy values were produced by legume forage crops(cowpea and guar).The maximum fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein,total digestible nutrient and digestible crude protein yields were produced by pearl millet followed by sudan grass under CT and RT after berseem *** highest net return was recorded by sowing pearl millet after berseem clover and applying CT followed by RT practices,which could be recommended for the commercial ***,it could be assumed that the combination of growing grass forage crops after legume crops under CT or RT systems could enhance forage crop yield and quality with an improvement in soil properties for sustainable agriculture with low cost and the highest net income.

Large-scale Traveling Ionospheric Disturbances Observed by GPs Receivers in Antarctica

The paper examines the propagation direction and velocity of large-scale traveling ionospheric disturbances （LsT1Ds） during extreme geomagnetic storms in the 23rd solar cycle （e.g., October 2003 and November 2003 storms） using GPs observations. In the analysis, the time delay between the vertical total electron content （VTEC） structures at scott Base, McMurdo, Davis and Casey GPs stations and the distance between these stations were the main parameters in the determination of LsTIDs propagation speed and direction. The observations during October and November 2003 storms show obvious time delay between the total electron content （TEC） enhancement signatures at these stations. The time delay suggests a movement of the ionospheric disturbances from higher to lower latitudes during the October storm with a velocity of 800-1 200 m/s and poleward propagation of LsTIDs during the November storm with a ve- locity of 300-400 m/s. The equatorward or poleward expansion of LsTIDs during the October and November 2003 storms is probably caused by the disturbances of the neutral temperature occurring close to the dayside convection throat or by the neutral wind oscillation induced by atmospheric gravity waves （AGW） launched from the aurora region.
