＜正＞In this paper,a wheelchair robot equipped with new-style variable-geometry-tracked mechanism is proposed. Different from general variable-geometry-tracked mechanisms,the key feature of this new-style mechanism is that it can adapt to convex terrain and transform to concave geometry by active control of track tension,based on which the ability of stair-climbing of traditional wheelchair is *** obtaining the dynamic characteristic of stair-climbing which is crucial to the robot design,the locomotion and transformation rule for the robot during different climbing phases is presented,the dynamic models of the robot whole body and its fundamental components are *** the dynamic simulation for stair-climbing is performed,and the drive characteristic of the robot under different climbing conditions is *** simulation results provide theoretical foundation to the future work of driving system design and mechanical parameters optimization.

BACKGROUND:p130Cas(p130Crk-associated substance) is a junction protein that is important to the adhesion between cytoskeleton and extracellular *** the adhesion molecules E-cadherin andβ-catenin play important roles in the invasiveness of *** study was undertaken to investigate the effects of p130Cas E-cadherin andβ-catenin on the invasion,metastasis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). METHODS:Immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate the expression of p130Cas,E-cadherin,andβ-catenin in 40 patients with *** patients were followed up postoperatively,and the relationship between expression and clinicopathological prognostic parameters was analyzed RESULTS:The positive expression rates of p130Cas and E-cadherin in HCC tissue(n=40)were 62.50%and 55.00% but in normal liver tissue 10%,and 100%,respectively (P<0.05).The abnormal expression rate ofβ-catenin in HCC tissue was 70%,while in normal liver tissue it was 13.33%(P<0.05).The positive rate of p130Cas was correlated with lymph node invasion,pathological stage TNM stage,and a worse prognosis,but not with gender age,HBV infection,hepatic cirrhosis,alpha-fetoprotein (AFP)level before operation,and tumor diameter Similarly,the expression of E-cadherin andβ-catenin was correlated with lymph node invasion,pathological stage,TNM stage,and worse prognosis,but not with gender,age,HBV infection,hepatic cirrhosis,AFP level before operation,and tumor *** were found between p130Cas and abnormal E-cadherin/β-catenin expression(P<0.001 and<0.05,respectively).CONCLUSIONS:In HCC,there is a negative correlation between the positive expression of p130Cas and the normal expression of the adhesion molecules E-cadherin/β-catenin, and p130Cas plays important roles in the invasion, metastasis and prognosis of HCC.p130Cas may be involved in alterating the structure and function of E-cadherin/ β-catenin,by regulating tyrosine phosphorylation via the p130Cas-Src signal pathway.

The modern multi-channel cochlear implants usually extract and encode the temporal envelope cues. This kind of algorithms can hardly satisfy the users who speak tonal languages, such as Mandarin. Many studies have tried to enhance the recognition ability of Mandarin through encoding tonal information and made suggestions to frequency-modulate the fixed pulse-rate carrier with the extracted tonal information based on the rate-pitch theory in electric hearing. However, how to encode and deliver the tonal information such as F_0by changing electric-stimulus rate has not got further study in clinical electric-stimulus mode. The present paper focuses on this matter by piecewise calculating the appreciable electric-stimulus rates. Then an electric-stimulus encoding algorithm of Mandarin tone is brought forward and testified through acoustic simulations. Such conclusion can be drawn that this algorithm of electric-stimulus rate could convey tonal information well and help to enhance the Mandarin speech recognition ability.

Objective To assess the therapeutic efficiency of short anterior urethral stricture treated with endourethral surgery combined with iridium 192 radiation therapy in order to decrease the recurrence rate after endourethral *** A total of 286 patients with anterior urethral stricture(stricture length ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 cm,averaging at 1.6 cm)were divided randomly into two groups after internal urethrotomy and cicatrix *** radiation group of 173 patients was treated as soon as possible with iridium 192 radiation therapy on the stricture sections while the control group of 113 patients was *** recurrence rate was compared between the two groups during one year’s *** Among all the 286 successful operations,stricture recurred in 19 patients of the radiation group(recurrence rate of 10.98%)and in 62 ones of the control group(recurrence rate of 54.86%),with a significant difference(P=0.003).Conclusion It is an effective way to prevent recurrence by treating patients as early as possible with iridium 192 radiation on the stricture sections after endourethral operation on anterior urethral stricture.

The electrochemical behavior of the medical Stainless steel 317L which is used as in vivo fixation materials has been investigated at different passivated states in several candidate-testing solutions. The potentiodynamic scanning polarizaion technique was employed to measure the polarizaion curves of 317L in 0.9%NaCl solution at 37℃. The results showed that the electrochemical behaviorin 0.9% NaCl solution at 37℃ and in 2% NaCl solotion at 30℃ can be better used to detect and evaluate passivated states and corrosionresistance of 317L. In addition,the pitting potential Eb can be used as a criterion and itS lower limit could be 0.85 V(SEC) for this system.

BACKGROUND:The 2009 H1N1 influenza A virus was first identified in April 2009 and rapidly evolved into a pandemic. Recipients of solid-organ transplants have a higher risk for severe infection because of *** are limited reports of 2009 H1N1 influenza in liver transplant recipients,especially in China. METHODS:We present a case of a 48-year-old male liver transplant recipient with 2009 H1N1 influenza A *** received therapy for acute rejection after transplantation and was confirmed with H1N1 virus infection. RESULTS:The patient was started on oseltamivir(75 mg, orally twice daily)and had a benign hospital course,with defervescence and resolution of symptoms within 72 hours. The follow-up chest radiograph after discharge was normal. CONCLUSIONS:The 2009 H1N1 influenza in this hospitalized transplant recipient was relatively mild,and prolonged viral shedding was not *** can be a valid measure in immunocompromised individuals.
