Main observation and conclusion photoredox C-H bond formation can proceed in aerobic environment under solar light and has therefore become ***-days,different types of expensive novel metal complexes and nanomaterials have been urbanized as photocatalysts for direct C-H bond formation in between derivatives of heteroarenes(HAs)and aryl diazonium *** photocatalysts,however,still suffer from poor stability,high cost,and ***,a graphitic carbon nitride-based fluorescein isothiocyanate(g-C_(3)N_(4)-FITC)film pho-tocatalyst has been reported,which shows ecellent light harvesting ability,and band gap suitability to catalyze the metal free direct C-H arylation of HAs under solar light at ambient ***,the g-C_(3)N_(4)-FITC film photocatalyst can be reused four times without significant loss of activity,confirming the excellent photocatalytic *** current strategy to constructa g-C_(3)N_(4)-FITC film photocatalyst for direct C-H arylation opens a new path towards replacing metal-based catalysts in fine chemical Sy nthesis.

Numerical Analysis of phase Change and Container Materials for Thermal Energy Storage in the Storage Tank of Solar Water Heating System

This study evaluates the effectiveness of phase change materials(pCMs) inside a storage tank of warm water for solar water heating(SWH) system through the theoretical simulation based on the experimental model of *** et *** model is explained by five fundamental equations for the calculation of various parameters like the effectiveness of pCMs,the mass of hot water,total heat content,and duration of *** study simulated eleven pCMs to analyze their effectiveness like Sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate(SHpD),OM 37,N-Eicosane(NE),Lauric acid(LA),paraffin wax(pW),OM 48,paraffin wax C_(20-33)(pW-C20-33),Sodium acetate trihydrate(SAT),palmitic acid(pA),Myristic acid(MA),and Stearic acid(SA).Among all pCMs,the SHpD has found the highest value of effectiveness factor of ***,it is the most recommended pCM for the storage tank of the SWH *** study also includes the melt fraction analysis of all enumerated pCMs corresponding to container materials of stainless steel,glass,aluminum mixed,tin,aluminum,and *** melt fraction analysis is performed by making a coding program in the FORTRAN programming *** the analysis,copper container material is found to have high melting rate for all pCMs so it is superior to other container materials.

Angioinvasive mucormycosis in burn intensive care units:A case report and review of literature

BACKGROUND Mucormycosis is a rare,rapidly progressive and often fatal fungal *** rarity of the condition lends itself to unfamiliarity,delayed treatment,and poor *** of fungal infections early enough to enable appropriate treatment occurs in less than half of affected *** SUMMARY An 11-year-old girl with a history of 15%total body surface area scald burns involving both lower limbs progressed to develop angioinvasive *** further led to a thrombosis of the right external iliac artery and vein and rapidly progressive necrosis of surrounding soft *** also had dextrocardia and patent foramen ovale.A right hip disarticulation and serial aggressive debridements were performed but she went on to develop systemic sepsis with multisystem involvement and succumbed to the *** revealed mucor species with extensive vascular *** This case highlights the importance of maintaining vigilance for mycotic infections and acting appropriately when there are signs of fulminant wound infection.

Hydro-uvarovite from Mantle peridotites of Naga Hills Ophiolite: A Mineral Tracer for Neo-Tethyan Mantle Wedge Metasomatism

Hydrous Cr-bearing uvarovite garnets are rare in natural occurrences and belong to the ugrandite series and exist in binary solid solutions with grossular and andradite garnets. Here, we report the occurrence of hydrous uvarovite garnet having Cr_(2)O_(3) upto 19.66 wt% and CaO of 32.12–35.14 wt% in the serpentinized mantle peridotites of Naga Hills Ophiolite(NHO), India. They occur in association with low-Cr diopsides. They are enriched in LILE(Ba, Sr), LREEs, with fractionating LREE-MREE [avg.(La/Sm)_(N) = 2.16] with flat MREE/HREE patterns [avg.(Sm/Yb)_(N) = 0.95]. Raman spectra indicate the presence of hydroxyl(OH^(–)) peaks from 3500 to 3700 cm^(-1). Relative abundances in fluid mobile elements and their close association with clinopyroxenes are suggestive of the formation of uvarovite garnets through low temperature metasomatic alteration of low-Cr diopsides by hydrothermal slab fluids. The high LREE concentration and absence of Eu anomaly in the garnet further attest to alkaline nature of the transporting slab dehydrated fluid rather the involvement of low-p H solution. The chemical characteristics of the hydroxyl bearing uvarovite hosted by the mantle peridotite of NHO deviate from the classical features of uvarovite garnet, and their origin is attributed to the fluid-induced metasomatism of the sub arc mantle wedge in a suprasubduction zone regime.

Tandem rapid manufacturing of Inconel-625 using laser assisted and plasma transferred arc depositions

This paper presents an investigation on depo- sition of Inconel-625 using laser rapid manufacturing （LRM） and plasma transferred arc （pTA） deposition in individual and tandem mode. LRM has advantages in terms of dimensional accuracy, improved mechanical properties, finer process control, reduced heat input and lower thermal distortion, while pTA scores more in terms of lower initial investment, lower running cost and higher deposition rate. To quantify the clubbed advantages and limitations of both processes, these were studied individually and in tandem. A number of samples were deposited at different process parameters like power, scan speed, powder feed rate. They were subjected to tensile test, adhesion-cohesion test, impact test and micro hardness measurement. The results of individual tests showed the comparable mechanical prop- erties with i20% variation. The mixed dendritic-cellular and dendritic-columnar microstructures were respectively observed for LRM and pTA deposits with a distinct inter- face for the case of tandem deposition. The interface strength of tandem deposits was evaluated employing adhesion-cohesion test, and it was found to be （325 i 35） Mpa. The study confirmed the viability of LRM and pTA deposition in tandem for hybrid manufacturing.

Bulbine frutescens phytochemicals as novel ABC-transporter inhibitor:a molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation study

Aim:The present in silico study aimed to evaluate the ATp-binding cassette(ABC)transporter inhibition potential of Bulbine frutescens(***)***:Several previous studies and databases were used to retrieve the ligands and target protein *** molecular docking study was performed using the Auto Dock Tools,and the GROMACS package was applied to accomplish molecular dynamics ***:Utilizing the molecular docking and simulation approach,~25 phytochemicals were screened against the ABC transporter *** score analysis revealed that *** phytochemical 4’-Demethylknipholone 2’-β-D-glucopyranoside exhibited strong binding on the ABC transporter protein with a minimum binding score-9.8 kcal/mol in comparison to the standard ABC transporter inhibitor diltiazem(-6.86 kcal/mol).Furthermore,molecular dynamics simulation for 4’-Demethylknipholone 2’-β-D-glucopyranoside showed an acceptable root mean square deviation,radius of gyration,root mean square fluctuation,and hydrogen bond,in addition to other lead ***:The in-silico study demonstrated that *** phytochemical 4’-Demethylknipholone 2’-β-D-glucopyranoside possesses anti-drug resistance properties and requires further testing in preclinical settings.

Organo-petrographic and pore Facets of permian Shale Beds of Jharia Basin with Implications to Shale Gas Reservoir

The shale deposits of Damodar Valley have received great attention since preliminary studies indicate their potential for shale gas. However, fundamental information allied to shale gas re- servoir characteristics are still rare in India, as exploration is in the primary stage. In this study, Ba- rakar shale beds of eastern part of Jharia Basin are evaluated for gas reservoir characteristics. It is evident that Barakar shales are carbonaceous, silty, contains sub-angular flecks of quartz and mica, irregular hair-line fractures and showing lithological variations along the bedding planes, signifying terrestrial-fluviatile deposits under reducing environment. The values of TOC varies from 1.21 wt.% to 17.32 wt.%, indicating good source rock potentiality. The vitrinite, liptinite, inertinite and mineral matter ranging from 0.28 vol.% to 12.98 vol.%, 0.17 vol.% to 3.23 vol.%, 0.23 vol.% to 9.05 vol.%, and 74.74 vol.% to 99.10 vol.%, respectively. The ternary facies plot of maceral composition substan- tiated that Barakar shales are vitrinite rich and placed in the thermal-dry gas prone region. The low values of the surface area determined following different methods point towards low methane storage capacity, this is because of diagenesis and alterations of potash feldspar responsible for pore blocking effect. The pore size distribution signifying the micro to mesoporous nature, while Type II sorption curve with the H2 type of hysteresis pattern, specifies the heterogeneity in pore structure mainly combined-slit and bottle neck pores.

Androgen deprivation therapy targeting the androgens/androgen receptor(AR)signaling continues to be the mainstay treatment of advanced-stage prostate *** use of second-generation antiandrogens,such as abiraterone acetate and enzalutamide,has improved the survival of prostate cancer patients;however,a majority of these patients progress to castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRpC).The mechanisms of resistance to antiandrogen treatments are complex,including specific mutations,alternative splicing,and amplification of oncogenic proteins resulting in dysregulation of various signaling *** this review,we focus on the major mechanisms of acquired resistance to second generation antiandrogens,including AR-dependent and AR-independent resistance mechanisms as well as other resistance mechanisms leading to CRpC *** knowledge of resistance mechanisms to AR targeted treatments will lead to additional research on designing more effective therapies for advanced-stage prostate cancer.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a predominant life-threatening cancer,with liver and peritoneal metastases as the primary causes of *** inflammation,a known CRC risk factor,nurtures a local inflammatory environment enriched with tumor cells,endothelial cells,immune cells,cancer-associated fibroblasts,immunosuppressive cells,and secretory growth *** complex interactions of aberrantly expressed cytokines,chemokines,growth factors,and matrix-remodeling enzymes promote CRC pathogenesis and evoke systemic responses that affect disease *** evidence suggests that these cytokines and chemokines play a role in the progression of CRC through immunosuppression and modulation of the tumor microenvironment,which is partly achieved by the recruitment of immunosuppressive *** cells impart features such as cancer stem cell-like properties,drug resistance,invasion,and formation of the premetastatic niche in distant organs,promoting metastasis and aggressive CRC growth.A deeper understanding of the cytokineand chemokine-mediated signaling networks that link tumor progression and metastasis will provide insights into the mechanistic details of disease aggressiveness and facilitate the development of novel therapeutics for ***,we summarized the current knowledge of cytokine-and chemokine-mediated crosstalk in the inflammatory tumor microenvironment,which drives immunosuppression,resistance to therapeutics,and metastasis during CRC *** also outlined the potential of this crosstalk as a novel therapeutic target for *** major cytokine/chemokine pathways involved in cancer immunotherapy are also discussed in this review.
