Artificial intelligence(AI)has recently been used in nanomedical applications,in which implanted intelligent nanosystems inside the human body were used to diagnose and treat a variety of ailments with the help of the Internet of biological Nano Things(IoBNT).Biological circuit engineering or nanomaterial-based architectures can be used to approach the *** nanomedical applications,the blood vascular medium serves as a communication channel,demonstrating a molecular communication system based on flow and *** paper presents a performance study of the channel capacity for flow-based-diffusive molecular communication nanosystems that takes into account the ligand-receptor binding *** earlier studies,we take into account the effects of biological physical characteristics such as blood pressure,blood viscosity,and vascular diameter on channel ***,in terms of drug transmission error probability,the inter-symbol interference(ISI)phenomenon is applied to the proposed *** numerical results show that the proposed AI nanosystems-based IoBNT technology can be successfully implemented in future nanomedicine.

An advanced ANSYS FLUENT-based model was developed for hydrogen recovery from a multi-tubular fixed-bed metal hydride(mH)reactor of large-scale *** model was firstly validated by comparing its results to specific experimental *** and heat transfer processes inside the fixed bed were investigated for various pressures and thermochemical characteristics of the mH(thermal conductivity,porosity and reaction parameters).The findings were reported as average,local and spatial changes in the metal’s bed temperature and hydrogen *** the initial stage of the endothermic desorption(tmperature dropped dramat-ically in all *** this time,there was a massive emission of *** bed temperature was then raised due to the reactor’s external convective heating,while the hydrogen release continued until the mH was completely *** dehydrogenation rate of the mH was enhanced when the discharge pressure was ***,some other characteristics of the mH,i.e.,porosity,thermal conductivity,desorption rate constant and activation energy,significantly impacted the resulting mass and heat fluxes inside the bed material.

The study considers a homogeneous isotropic thermo-visco-elastic solid with hyperbolic two-temperature to cope up with its two-dimensional(2 D)*** heat conduction equation is influenced by the Thomson ***-Shulman’s theory is used to modify the basic governing equations.A method called"normal mode analysis"is utilized to attain the magnetic field,stress,conductive and thermodynamic temperature,and displacement ***,a number of numerical calculations are performed and discussed to understand the impact of hyperbolic two-temperatures,Thomson parameter,and viscosity on the material mentioned above.

One of the likely methods for enhancing heat transfer in a latent thermal energy storage system is the conception of a thermal *** this study,the orientation of oval tubes(horizontal,vertical,and oblique)in phase change material(PCm,C_(19)-C_(20))-based shell-tube heat exchanger was analyzed with respect to the metal foam(mF)type(graphite,copper,and nickel)in comparison to the case of pure *** this purpose,a two-dimensional mathematical model was developed to investigate the thermal efficiency of the PCm-metal foam based composite energy storage *** was concluded that the orientation of the oval tubes(oblique,horizontal,and vertical)has a negligible impact on the performance of the thermal unit during the melting/solidification *** on the liquid/solid fraction,total enthalpy and the average temperature in the annular space,the performance of a heat exchanger during fusion/solidification periods is in the order:copper-mF>graphite-mF>nickel-mF>pure *** the adopted mF or the geometry of tubes,the melting process is expedited compared to the solidification mechanism.

In this study,nanocrystalline celluloses were used to enhance physical,mechanical and water vapor barrier properties of chitosan films for potential food packaging *** different mineral acids(sulfuric and phosphoric)were used to extract nanocrystalline cellulose from date palm sheath *** influence of cellulose I and cellulose II on the properties of the isolated nanocrystalline celluloses(e.g.,yield,energy and length of intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds,and degree of substitution)were studied *** characteristics of chitosan biocomposite film with phosphorylated nanocrystalline cellulose were compared to those with sulfated nanocrystalline *** showed that besides cellulose polymorphism,the ionic ester groups on the surface of nanocrystalline cellulose is one of the factors influencing the physical,chemical,mechanical,and water vapor barrier properties in chitosan/nanocrystalline cellulose biocomposites.

Seismic hazard assessment is carried out by utilizing deterministic approach to evaluate the maximum expected earthquake ground motions along the Western Coastal Province of Saudi Arabia. The analysis is accomplished by incorporating seismotectonic source model, determination of earthquake magnitude （mmax）, set of appropriate ground motion predictive equations （GmPE）, and logic tree sequence. The logic tree sequence is built up to assign weight to ground motion scaling relationships. Contour maps of ground acceleration are generated at different spectral periods. These maps show that the largest ground motion values are emerged in northern and southern regions of the western coastal province in Saudi Arabia in comparison with the central region.

BACKGROUND: Pancreatic reconstruction following pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD) is still debatable even for pancreatic surgeons. Ideally, pancreatic reconstruction after PD should reduce the risk of postoperative pancreatic fistula(POPF) and its severity if developed with preservation of both exocrine and endocrine pancreatic functions. It must be tailored to control the morbidity linked to the type of *** study was to show the best type of pancreatic reconstruction according to the characters of pancreatic stump. mETHODS: We studied all patients who underwent PD in our center from January 1993 to December 2015. Patients were categorized into three groups depending on the presence of risk factors of postoperative complications: low-risk group(absent risk factor), moderate-risk group(presence of one risk factor) and high-risk group(presence of two or more risk factors). RESULTS: A total of 892 patients underwent PD for resection of periampullary tumor. BmI >25 kg/m~2, cirrhotic liver, soft pancreas, pancreatic duct diameter mm, and pancreatic duct location from posterior edge mm are risk variables for development of postoperative complications. POPF developed in 128(14.3%) patients. Delayed gastric emptying occurred in 164(18.4%) patients, biliary leakage developed in 65(7.3%) and pancreatitis presented in 20(2.2%). POPF in low-, moderate-and high-risk groups were 26(8.3%), 65(15.7%) and 37(22.7%) patients, respectively. Postoperative morbidity and mortality were significantly lower with pancreaticogastrostomy(PG) in high-risk group, while pancreaticojejunostomy(PJ) decreases incidence of postoperative steatorrhea in all groups. CONCLUSIONS: Selection of proper pancreatic reconstruction according to the risk factors of patients may reduce POPF and postoperative complications and mortality. PG is superior to PJ as regards short-term outcomes in high-risk group but PJ provides better pancreatic function in all groups and therefore, PJ is superior in l

Aim: To determine the frequency of genetic deletions within the azoospermia factors in Egyptian infertile males. methods: The Yq microdeletions in 33 infertile males with undetectable chromosomal anomalies were examined by mutiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Deletions were confirmed using single PCR amplifications. Results: Four out of the total 33 (12 %) men had Yq11 microdeletions, thus supporting the average reported figures in other populations. Three of those 4 cases had single short tandem sequence deletions with discrete histological findings of their testes. Single sY272 deletion within AZFc was associated with Sertoli cell only syndrome, whereas a patient with isolated sY84 deletion within AZFa had immature testicular structure. The remaining case had a large deletion in AZFa-c and short stature. Conclusion: The present study supports the hypothesis that the Yqn encompasses genetic determinants of stature besides genes controlling spermatogenesis.
