In numerous real-world healthcare applications,handling incomplete medical data poses significant challenges for missing value imputation and subsequent clustering or classification *** approaches often rely on statistical methods for imputation,which may yield suboptimal results and be computationally *** paper aims to integrate imputation and clustering techniques to enhance the classification of incomplete medical data with improved *** classification methods are ill-suited for incomplete medical *** enhance efficiency without compromising accuracy,this paper introduces a novel approach that combines imputation and clustering for the classification of incomplete ***,the linear interpolation imputation method alongside an iterative Fuzzy c-means clustering method is applied and followed by a classification *** effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated using multiple performance metrics,including accuracy,precision,specificity,and *** encouraging results demonstrate that our proposed method surpasses classical approaches across various performance criteria.

Genome-Wide Comparative in silico Analysis of Calcium Transporters of Rice and Sorghum

The mechanism of calcium uptake, translocation and accumulation in Poaceae has not yet been fully understood. To address this issue, we conducted genome-wide comparative in silico analysis of the calcium （Ca2＋） transporter gene family of two crop species, rice and sorghum. Gene annotation, identification of upstream cis-acting ele- ments, phylogenetic tree construction and syntenic mapping of the gene family were performed using several bio- informatics tools. A total of 31 Ca2＋ transporters, distributed on 9 out of 12 chromosomes, were predicted from rice genome, while 28 Ca2＋ transporters predicted from sorghum are distributed on all the chromosomes except chromosome 10 （Chr 10）. Interestingly, most of the genes on Chr 1 and Chr 3 show an inverse syntenic relation- ship between rice and sorghum. Multiple sequence alignment and motif analysis of these transporter proteins re- vealed high conservation between the two species. Phylogenetic tree could very well identify the subclasses of channels, ATPases and exchangers among the gene family. The in silico c/s-regulatory element analysis suggested diverse functions associated with light, stress and hormone responsiveness as well as endosperm- and meris- tem-specific gene expression. Further experiments are warranted to validate the in silico analysis of the predicted transporter gene family and elucidate the functions of Ca2＋ transporters in various biological processes.

Quantification of hydration products in cementitious materials incorporating silica nanoparticles

In the present work, silica nanoparticles （30-70nm） were supplemented into cement paste to study their influence on degree of hydration, porosity and formation of different type of calcium-silicate-hydrate （C-S-H） gel. As the hydration time proceeds, the degree of hydration reach to 76% in nano-modified cement paste whereas plain cement achieve up to 63% at 28 days. An influence of degree of hydration on the porosity was also determined. In plain cement paste, the capillary porosity at lhr is ~48%, whereas in silica nanoparticles added cement is -35 % only, it revealed that silica nanoparticles refines the pore structure due to accelerated hydration mechanism leading to denser microstructure. Similarly, increasing gel porosity reveals the formation of more C-S-H gel. Furthermore, C-S-H gel of different CaJSi ratio in hydrated cement paste was quantified using X-ray diffractometer and thermogravimetry. The results show that in presence of silica nanoparticles, -24% C-S-H （Ca/Si 〈 1.0） forms, leading to the formation ofpolymerised and compact C-S-H. In case of plain cement this type of C-S-H was completely absent at 28 days. These studies reveal that the hydration mechanism of the cement can be tuned with the incorporation of silica nanoparticles and thus, producing more durable cementitious materials.

Chemotherapy has been linked with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. Most of the literature on chemotherapy associated Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is on the drug 5-fluorouracil. In this report, we describe the case of a 55-year-old Asian male who developed Takotsubo cardiomyopathy while receiving dual chemotherapy with cytarabine and daunorubicin for acute myeloid leukemia. To our knowledge, it is the first case of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy associated with daunorubicin and/or cytarabine.

Correlation analysis is an effective mechanism for studying patterns in data and making *** interesting discoveries have been made by formulating correlations in seemingly unrelated data. We propose an algorithm to quantify the theory of correlations and to give an intuitive, more accurate correlation *** propose a predictive metric to calculate correlations between paired values, known as the general rank-based correlation coefficient. It fulfills the five basic criteria of a predictive metric： independence from sample size,value between-1 and 1, measuring the degree of monotonicity, insensitivity to outliers, and intuitive ***, the metric has been validated by performing experiments using a real-time dataset and random number simulations. Mathematical derivations of the proposed equations have also been provided. We have compared it to Spearman＇s rank correlation coefficient. The comparison results show that the proposed metric fares better than the existing metric on all the predictive metric criteria.
