Background:Due to absence of large,prospective,randomized,clinical trial data,the potential survivalbenefit of lymphadenectomy with different number of regional lymph nodes(LNs)remains *** aim to create a predicting model to help estimate individualized potential survival benefit oflymphadenectomy with more regional LNs for patients with resected gallbladder cancer(GBC).Methods:Patients with resected GBC were selected from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Resultsdatabase who were diagnosed between 2004 and *** included age,race,sex,grade,histologicalstage,tumor sizes and receipt of non-primary *** types of multivariate survival regression modelswere constructed and *** best model performance was tested by the external validation data fromour ***:A total of 1,669 patients met the inclusion criteria for this *** lognormal survival modelshowed the best performance and was tested by the external validation data,including 193 patients withresected GBC from our ***,which based on the accelerated failure time parametricsurvival model,were built to estimate individualized survival.C-index,was up to 0.754 and 0.710 in internalvalidation for more and less regional LNs removed,*** of internal and external calibrationcurves showed good agreement between predicted and observed outcomes in the 1-,3-,and 5-year overallsurvival(OS).Conclusions:A predicting model can be used as a decision model to predict which patients may obtainbenefit from lymphadenectomy with more regional LNs.

Cytokine monitoring has attracted great attention due to its significance in the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases,such as tumors,microbial infections,and immunological ***-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)is one of the most popular methods in cytokine detection,ascribing to the lavish signal amplification methods in the ELISA *** addition to classical enzymes,other signal amplifiers such as fluorescent probes,artificial nano-enzymes,and photothermal reagents have been applied to reduce the detection limit and produce more sensitive ELISA *** to the accumulative effect of heat,photothermal reagents are promising materials in the signal amplification of ***,the lack of efficient photothermal generation material at an aggregate scale may delay the further development of this *** this contribution,based on an efficient organic photothermal aggregate material,an enzyme-free photothermally amplified fluorescent immunosorbent assay system consisting of an assay microfluidic chip and detecting platform was *** photothermal nanoparticles with highly efficient photothermal conversion by harvesting energy via excited-state intramolecular motions and enlarging molar absorptivity were successfully *** detection concentration at 50 pg/mL of interleukin-2 was achieved,realizing a signal improvement of detection limits by 20-fold compared to that of previously reported photothermal *** microscopic imaging integrated with plane sweeping technology provided high spatial resolution and precision,indicating the potential of achieving high throughput profiling at the ***,as an alternative excitation source,light-emitting diode not only provided a more affordable and miniaturized detection system but also revealed the great feasibility of intramolecular motion-induced photothermy nanoparticles for biological analyses.

Due to the high transmissibility of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it continues to infect over 300 000 people worldwide per day(WHO statistics, December 2020), even almost one year after the first COVID-19 cases were confirmed [1,2]. One of the most important public health discussions being undertaken currently concerns the protective nature of the immune response and the possibility of reinfection in recovered individuals.

目的分析特应性皮炎儿童期及老年期在临床特征及实验室检查指标的异同。方法收集2020年9月至2023年3月在中山大学附属第三医院皮肤与整形美容科及变态反应科就诊的儿童期及老年期特应性皮炎患的临床资料及实验室检查,分析两组临床特征与实验室检查指标的差异。定量资料组间比较采用t检验或单因素方差(ANOVA)分析。结果共纳入98例儿童期特应性皮炎患者及46例老年特应性皮炎患者。老年期患者男性明显多于女性(P<0.05),且皮疹更容易泛发全身,且多累及躯干及下肢,且以伸侧部位为主(P<0.05)。儿童期较老年期更多见合并过敏性鼻炎、哮喘等特应性疾病(P<0.05);过敏原特异性IgE阳性率明显高于老年期患者(P<0.05)。结论儿童期与老年期特应性皮炎患者在性别分布、合并特应性疾病、皮损特征及分布和过敏原特异性IgE阳性率等方面存在统计学差异,临床需正确认识两者的异质性。

Objective:To better evaluate tertiary Gleason pattern reporting and to evaluate the impact of tertiary Gleason pattern 5(TP5)on prostate cancer pathological features and biochemical recurrence at our large single ***:We retrospectively reviewed 1962 patients who underwent radical prostatectomy(RP)for prostate cancer;TP5 was reported in 159 cases(8.1%).Men with Gleason score(GS)7 and GS 8 disease were divided into subgroups with and without TP5,and histopathological features were *** analyses were conducted to assess the impact on TP5 on biochemical-free survival(BFS).Results:Tumors possessing GS 3+4 with TP5 were more likely to exhibit extraprostatic extension(EPE)and had a larger tumor diameter(TD)than GS 3+4 *** 3+4 with TP5 was also associated with positive surgical margins(SM),seminal vesicle involvement(SVI),and higher pre-operative prostate-specific antigen(PSA)values,but without statistical *** 4+3 with TP5 more commonly presented with EPE,positive SM,SVI,and greater TD and pre-operative PSA level than GS 4+3 *** multivariate analysis,Gleason score,EPE,and TP5 were overall independent risk factors for PSA recurrence in this ***,GS 4+3 with TP5 was associated with shorter time to recurrence versus GS 4+3 ***:Our results emphasize the importance of TP5 and suggest that criteria for tertiary pattern reporting in prostate cancer should be *** studies are needed to evaluate the role of tertiary patterns in prognostic models.

Life Cycle Costing (LCC) is always a major concern in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. This paper presents the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in the development of a lifecycle cost-estimating tool. The IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) model as an interoperable building information model has been adopted as the central data repository to deliver the integrated information of building designs from CAD design systems into the lifecycle-costing database. In this paper, the conceptions and relevant factors, which could affect the LCC estimation, have been introduced. The problems of current LCC applications have been identified as the lack of LCC data and the complexity of LCC exercises. The software application of IFC models and relevant auxiliary are depicted as a solution of the problem identified. The lifecycle costing tool is a part of the nD Modeling tool and as such is based on its integrated interface prototype toolkit and is able to holistically present an IFC model into a 3D virtual reality view, a tree-view and a list of element properties. The functions and some technical points are also detailed in the paper. Through the research, it demonstrates the potential and possibility of implementing BIM methods and techniques, particularly IFCs to enhance the computer applications in the processes of building construction and facility management.

The Yb:Lu_(2)O_(3)precursor made up of spherical particles was synthesized through the co-precipitation method in the water/ethanol *** 5 at% Yb:Lu_(2)O_(3)powder is in the cubic phase after calcination at 1100℃ for 4 *** powder also consists of spherical nanoparticles with the average particle and grain sizes of 96 and 49 nm,*** average grain size of the pre-sintered ceramic sample is 526 nm and that of the sample by hot isostatic pressing grows to 612 *** 1.0 mm-thick sample has an in-line transmittance of 81.6%(theoretical value of 82.2%)at 1100 *** largest absorption cross-section at 976 nm is 0.96×1^(0-20)cm^(2) with the emission cross-section at 1033 nm of 0.92×10^(-20)cm^(2) and the gain cross sections are calculated with the smallest population inversion parameter β of *** highest slope efficiency of 68.7% with the optical efficiency of 65.1% is obtained at 1033.3 nm in quasi-continuous wave(QCW)*** the case of continuous wave(CW)pumping,the highest slope efficiency is 61.0% with the optical efficiency of 54.1%.The obtained laser performance indicates that Yb:Lu_(2)O_(3)ceramics have excellent resistance to thermal load stresses,which shows great potential in high-power solid-state laser applications.
