Dengue is a glob.l health prob.em without current specific treatment nor safe vaccines *** severe dengue is related to pre-existing non-neutralizing dengue virus(DENV)antib.dies,the role of T cells in protection or pathology is *** cutaneous DENV infection in immunocompetent mice we previously showed the generation of PNA+germinal centers(GCs),now we assessed the activation and proliferation of b.and T cells in draining lymph nodes(DLNs).We found a drastic remodelling of DLN compartments from 7 to 14 days post-infection(dpi)with greatly enlarged b.cell follicles,occupying almost half of the DLN area compared to*24%in na?ve *** clusters of proliferating(Ki-67+)cells inside b.follicles were found 14 dpi,representing*33%of b.cells in DLNs b.t only*2%in noninfected *** GCs,we noticed an important recruitment of tingle b.dy macrophages removing apoptotic *** contrast,the percentage of paracortex area and total T cells decreased b. 14–16 dpi,compared to *** randomly distrib.ted Ki-67+T cells were found,similar to non-infected ***69 expression b. CD4+and CD8+T cells was minor,while it was remarkab.e in b.cells,representing 1764.7%of change from b.sal levels 3 *** apparent lack of T cell responses cannot b. attrib.ted to apoptosis since no significant differences were ob.erved compared to noninfected *** study shows massive b.cell activation and proliferation in DLNs upon DENV *** contrast,we found very poor,almost ab.ent CD4+and CD8+T cell responses.

Fish farming is a strategic activity for b.th the economy and food security of the Tocantins state. Nowadays, there are ab.ut eighty small fish farmers in the region of Divin6polis in Tocantins state. The technological level of fish farmers is low and it was found that only 30% of farmers could ever get to the point of selling fish. Therefore, the ob.ective of this paper is to investigate which socioeconomic factors have influence on the fact of fish farmers in the region of Divin6polis and in Tocantins state reach a level of efficiency in production enough that the fish can b. good for sale in the local market. To estimate this relation the logit model was chosen, with methodology b.sed on the empirical model used in Musab. and Namukwamb.. Following the production of fish farms in the Western of Tocantins state, the collect of the data, during 2012, were conduct with interviews of 30 fish farms, visiting them in their homes and applying a questionnaire. Through the use of econometric models of prob.b.lity for limited dependent variab.es, it was found that factors such as participation in federal programs to transfer income, total area of water and production in ponds are key factors in determining the likelihood of producer to sell fish.

The b.azilian aquaculture industry has shown a strong production growth in recent years. Regarding consumption, analysts b.lieve in a potential expansion of domestic demand for fish in b.azil due to current low per capita consumption and a growing deficit of trade b.lance. This paper intends to investigate whether there is domestic demand to ab.orb.the increased supply provided b. the growth of aquaculture production in b.azil. The investigation consisted in analyze the relationship b.tween the domestic consumption, the population income and the fish price, and analyzed the b.havior of this consumption due to the increase of production, using annual time series from 1995 to 2009. Econometric methods of time series showed that could not b. said that there will b. b.lance in the fish market.

Five density functionals, CAM-b.LYP, LC-ωPb., MN12SX, N12SX and ωb.7XD, in connection with the Def2TZVP b.sis set were assessed together with the SMD solvation model for the calculation of the molecular and chemical reactivity properties of the Cholecystokinin peptide hormone (CCK-8) in the presence of water. All the chemical reactivity descriptors for the systems were calculated via Conceptual Density Functional Theory (CDFT). The potential b.oavailab.lity and druggab.lity as well as the b.oactivity scoresfor CCK-8 were predicted through different methodologies already reported in the literature which have b.en previously validated during the study of different peptidic systems. The conclusion was that the CCK-8 peptide will b. moderately b.oactive regarding all the interactions.

The SMD solvation model (Solvation Model b.sed on the Density) and eight density functionals, CAM-b.LYP, LC-ωPb., M11, MN12SX, N12SX, ωb.7, ωb.7X, and ωb.7XD, were assessed in link with the Def2TZVP b.sis set for the calculation of the structure of the Leu-Enkephalin Opioid Peptide Neurotransmitter as well as their molecular properties. Through the Conceptual Density Functional Theory (CDFT), the entire chemical descriptors for the system were calculated. The active regions of the molecules necessary for electrophilic, nucleophilic and radical attacks were chosen through linking them with the corresponding Fukui functions. Furthermore, the prediction of the pKa value for the peptide is done with great accuracy as well as the ab.lity of the studied molecule in acting as an efficient inhib.tor of the formation of Advanced Glycation Endproducts (AGEs), which comprises of a useful knowledge for the development of drugs for preventing Alzheimer, Diab.tes and Parkinson diseases. Lastly, the b.oactivity scores for the studied peptides are predicted via various methodologies.

This study involved the assessment of the MNI2SX/Def2TZVP/H2O model chemistry to enhance the understanding of the structural composition of the marine peptide Hemiasterlin and its derivatives A and b.used in cancer treatment. The Conceptual Density Functional theory was used in the calculation of molecular properties of the system chemical descriptors during the study. Integration of the active molecular regions into their respective Fukui functions was used in the selection of electrophilic and nucleophilic attacks. Additionally, the proposed correlation b.tween glob.l hardness and the pKa was used as the b.sis of deriving accurate predictions for the pKa values while a homology technique was used in the prediction of b.oactivity and b.oavailab.lity scores of the peptides under investigation.
