This document describes the creation of an informative Web GIs aimed at mitigating the impacts of flooding in the municipality of Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso, a region that is highly sensitive to climate change. Burkina Faso, which is undergoing rapid urbanization, faces major natural threats, particularly flooding, as demonstrated by the severe floods of 2009 that caused loss of life, injury, structural damage and economic losses in Ouagadougou. The aim of this research is to develop a web map highlighting the municipality’s flood-prone areas, with a view to informing and raising awareness of flood risk reduction. Using the Leaflet Javascript mapping library, the study uses HTML, Css and Javascript to implement web mapping technology. Data on Ouagadougou’s flood zones is generated by a multi-criteria analysis combining saaty’s AHP method and GIs in QGIs, integrating seven (7) parameters including hydrography, altitude, slope, rainfall, soil types, land use and soil moisture index. QGIs processes and maps the themes, PostgresQL with PostGIs serves as the DBMs and Geoserver functions as the map server. The Web GIs platform allows users to visualize the different flood risks, from very low to very high, or the high-risk areas specific to Ouagadougou. The AHP calculations classify the municipality into five flood vulnerability zones: very low (24.48%), low (27.93%), medium (23.01%), high (17.11%) and very high (7.47%). Effective risk management requires communication and awareness-raising. This online mapping application serves as a tool for communication, management and flood prevention in Ouagadougou, helping to mitigate flood-related natural disasters.

BACKGROUND Early diagnosis is key to prevent bowel damage in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Risk factor analyses linked with delayed diagnosis in European IBD patients are scarce and no data in German IBD patients *** To identify risk factors leading to prolonged diagnostic time in a German IBD *** Between 2012 and 2022,430 IBD patients from four Berlin hospitals were enrolled in a prospective study and asked to complete a 16-item questionnaire to determine features of the path leading to IBD *** diagnostic time was defined as the time from symptom onset to consulting a physician(patient waiting time)and from first consultation to IBD diagnosis(physician diagnostic time).Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify risk factors for each time *** The total diagnostic time was significantly longer in Crohn’s disease(CD)compared to ulcerative colitis(UC)patients(12.0 vs 4.0 mo;Psed physician diagnostic time(5.5 vs 1.0 mo;Psis,the predominant symptoms diarrhea(P=0.012)and skin lesions(P=0.028)as well as performed gastroscopy(P=0.042)were associated with longer physician diagnostic time in CD *** UC,fever was correlated(P=0.020)with shorter physician diagnostic time,while fatigue(P=0.011)and positive family history(P=0.046)were correlated with longer physician diagnostic *** We demonstrated that CD patients compared to UC are at risk of long diagnostic *** efforts should focus on shortening the diagnostic delay for a better outcome in these patients.

Chronic liver disease can affect many body systems including the musculoskeletal *** pathogenetic crosstalk between the liver and organs such as the brain and the kidneys has already been described with compound terms merging the organs affected by the pathology,such as the hepatorenal ***,the musculoskeletal manifestations of chronic liver disease have not been coined with such a term to *** of this shortage,documenting the musculoskeletal implications of chronic liver disease in both research and clinical practice is *** fill this gap,the authors propose the term hepatomusculoskeletal disorders,a compound term of Greek origin that encompasses all the body structures involved in the aforementioned pathologic crosstalk.

经济合作与发展组织(OECD)于2024年6月18日公布了PIsA2022学生创造性思维测评结果。这是OECD在全球范围首次对学生创造力开展大规模测评,64个国家和经济体的15岁学生参加了测评。本研究旨在系统阐释PIsA创造性思维测评的目标、理念和原则,测评分析框架的构成及构建的理论依据,并基于数据结果探讨了创造性思维与基础性素养、创造性思维的课程整合及培养路径等。研究发现,创造力和创造性思维的培养不同于其他基础性素养,具有独特性。促进学生树立积极的信念和心态,发展学生的主体性、能动性是关键;培养学生发散性思维值得引起重视,尤其是课堂教学要为学生多视角思考、与现实生活建立联系、丰富有趣的体验提供环境和情感支持;跨学科学习应指向学生创造性思维培养,以现实生活问题为情境,提升科学和社会问题的解决能力。

The computational discovery and design of zeolites is a crucial part of the chemical *** highly accurate while computational feasible protocol for identification of hypothetical siliceous frameworks that could be targeted experimentally is a great *** tackle this challenge,we trained neural network potentials(NNP)with the schNet architecture on a structurally diverse database of density functional theory(DFT)*** database was iteratively extended by active learning to cover not only low-energy equilibrium configurations but also high-energy transition *** demonstrate that the resulting reactive NNPs retain DFT accuracy for thermodynamic stabilities,vibrational properties,as well as reactive and non-reactive phase *** a showcase,we screened an existing zeolite database and revealed>20k additional hypothetical frameworks in the thermodynamically accessible range of zeolite ***,our NNPs are expected to be essential for future high-throughput studies on the structure and reactivity of siliceous zeolites.

surface Enhanced Raman spectroscopy(sERs) is a widely used spectroscopic method that can dramatically increase the sensitivity of Raman spectroscopy and has demonstrated significant benefit in the identification of biological molecules. We report the use of sERs in differentiating the bound immunocomplex of myeloperoxidase(MPO) and its antibody from the unbound complex and its individual components. The sERs signal was enabled by gold nanoparticles attached to MPO, p Ab and their immunocomplex at an excitation wavelength of 785 nm. The obtained sERs spectrum of MPO is in agreement with previous literature. Comparative sERs spectrum analysis of MPO, p Ab, and their immunocomplex reveals the significant peak shifts and intensity variations caused by the conformational changes due to the immunocomplex formation. several key areas have been identified which correspond to specific amino acids being shielded from undergoing resonance while new amino acid residues are made visible in the sERs spectrum of the immunocomplex and could be a result of conformational binding. Our work demonstrates the capability of sERs to identify binding events and differentiate an immunocomplex from its unbound components with direct applications in biosensors.
