Green onion is one of t.e most.consumed veget.bles in Colombia. However, it. product.on is negat.vely affect.d by t.e nemat.de Dit.lenchus. t. det.rmine t.e species of t.e nemat.de, as well as t. propose management.st.at.gies for it. cont.ol, in t.e present.st.dy t.e morphological, morphomet.ic, and molecular charact.rizat.on of t.e phyt.nemat.de was carried out.and was used t. evaluat. t.e effect.of immersion of t.e propagat.on mat.rial in wat.r hot. applicat.on of a commercial st.ain of Purpureocillium lilacinum and t.e applicat.on of an agrochemical wit. insect.cidal-nemat.cidal act.on t. cont.ol t.e phyt.sanit.ry problem under field condit.ons. t.e morphological and morphomet.ic charact.rist.cs of t.e nemat.de were similar t. t.ose report.d for t.e t.pe and reference populat.ons of D. dipsaci. Based on sequences of t.e D2-D3 segment.and Int.rnal t.anscribed Spacer-It. of t.e rRNA, t.e presence of D. dipsaci in green onion crops in Colombia was confirmed. t.e applicat.on of P. lilacinum st.t.st.cally showed an efficient.cont.ol of D. dipsaci, at.t.e same t.me t.at.present.d t.e highest.yield, in relat.on t. t.e ot.er evaluat.d t.eat.ent. (P ≤ 0.05).
