In this paper,the determ.nation of Thiram.fungicide by a novel m.dified screen-printed carbon electrode(SPCE)fabricated m.difying the working electrode(WE)with 2D-GO/WS2nanohybrid com.osites,is *** electron m.croscopy(SEm.,Ram.n spectroscopy,and fluorescence analysis(PL)were used to reveal the m.rphological and m.crostructural characteristics of the 2D-GO/WS2 nanohybrids with different graphene oxide:tungsten disulphide(GO:WS_(2))*** characterization dem.nstrated that the 2D-WS2/GO nanohybrids having a GO:WS_(2)ratio=2:1 shows the highest electrocatalytic activity towards oxidation of *** developed sensor perm.ts the quantification of Thiram.in the linear range 0.083-0.33μm.with a lim.t of detection(LOD)of 0.02μm.which is below the legal lim.ts for this fungicide in drinking water or foods.

Fruit flies are serious pests of m.ngo in Sudan; they cause substantial dam.ge to m.ngo production, both qualitatively and quantitatively. This study is an effort to establish inform.tion about the pest and, to test the susceptibility of som. m.ngo cultivars (Baladi, Kitchener, Shendi, Alphons, Abu Sam.ka and Bit abusam.ka) to the pest infestation. A survey was carried out at Shendi area, River Nile State, during the period of m.y 2007 to July 2008, using a hom. m.de trap resem.le lynfield traps with attractants (m.thyl eugenol, Trim.dlure, cue lure and Nu lure) to identify the fruit flies species found in the area and to study the seasonal abundance of the pest species and to determ.ne the infestation percentage of different m.ngo cultivars. Results indicated that the fruit fly Bactrocera invadens is present all year-round in the study area, with population peak July to Septem.er. The study showed that Guava ( Psedium.guajava ) represents the best alternative host for the pest. Abu sam.ka and Bit Abusa am.ka m.ngo cultivars were the m.st susceptible, with 100% infestation, followed by Shendi 70%, Kitchener 54%., Alphons and Baladi (30%, 28%, respectively) were the least susceptible. Also results revealed that fem.les of both species Ceratitis cosyra and Bactrocera invadens out num.ered m.les 4-5 tim.s.

This study is a contribution to im.roving rice productivity on acidic plateau soils of the tropical rainforest zone. It is based on taking into account the cationic balances of the soil in order to optim.ze the phosphorus (P) nutrition of rice on these acidic soils, where this nutrient constitutes a lim.ting factor for agricultural production. Three (3) pot trials were conducted in Adiopodoum. in the forested south of Côte d’Ivoire. The interactive effects of calcium.carbonate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Ca ha−1) and m.gnesium.sulfate (0, 25, 50 and 75 kg m. ha−1) were evaluated on the response of NERICA 5 rice at doses 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg P ha−1 of natural phosphate from.Togo, applied only once at the start of the experim.nt. Additional fertilizers of nitrogen (N) (100 kg N ha−1) and potassium.(K) (50 kg KCl ha−1) were added to each of the tests in a split-plot device. The test results revealed a paddy production potential of approxim.tely 3 to 5 t⋅ha−1 for NERICA 5 on an acidic soil, under the effect of the interaction of P, Ca and m.. The quadratic response of rice yield to the doses of these fertilizers would be m.re dependent on their balance, itself influenced by Ca nutrition. For the sustainability and m.intenance of rice production in agro-ecology studied, it was recom.ended doses of 38 kg Ca ha−1, 34 kg m. ha−1 in a Ca/m. ratio (1/1) with intakes of 41 kg P ha−1, overall in a ratio 1/1/1 (P/Ca/m.) m.re favorable to the availability of free iron considered a guiding elem.nt of m.neral nutrition. Thus, these prom.sing results should be confirm.d in a real environm.nt for better m.nagem.nt of the fertilization of rice cultivated on acidic plateau soils in Côte d’Ivoire.

As part of the drive to im.rove coffee and cocoa production in Ivory Coast, studies are carried out to identify soils that are favourable for these crops. It is therefore necessary to orientate soil investigations based on reliable criteria that best discrim.nate soil cover. With this in m.nd, this study is being carried out to help im.rove survey m.thods by m.pping soil landscapes. It uses GIS and weighted m.lticriteria analysis. To do this, satellite im.ges were processed and the geological m.p of the square degrees of m.Bahiakro and Daloa was reclassified. The results show that relief is the m.in factor in soil landscape differentiation, with respective weights of 0.58 and 0.67 for the forest and pre-forest zones. In contrast, the weight of geological form.tion in soil landscape differentiation rem.ins low (0.05 for the forest zone and 0.07 for the pre-forest zone). The criteria used on the base of aggregation sum.m.thods have m.de it possible to form.late soil landscape m.pping prediction functions according to agro-ecological environm.nts in the hum.d intertropical zone. This is essential for the orientation of soil survey work. Nevertheless, other com.arative m.thods, such as the coding m.pping m.thod, could provide elem.nts for discussion to validate the m.dels.

The present study, carried out in the forest (Daloa) and pre-forest (m.Bahiakro) zones of Cote d’Ivoire, aim. to determ.ne soil landscape units using the coding m.thod. Geological m.ps and satellite im.ges (SRTm.and Landsat) were used for this purpose. The m.thodological approach adopted consisted in producing m.ps of slope, geology, land use and topography using the codification m.thod. These various m.ps, integrated into a GIS using the coding aggregation m.thod, were used to generate soil landscape m.ps. Twenty-seven (27) soil landscapes have been identified for the pre-forest zone (m.Bahiakro), with a strong dom.nance of acid rock over a m.derate relief under savannah, forest/degraded forest and crops/fallow. However, the forest zone (Daloa), with forty-one (41) soil landscapes identified over the entire zone, is characterized by a m.jority of m.fic rocks on a m.dium.altitude under forest/degraded forest, water and crops/fallow. The criteria used from.the codification m.thod (sum.of aggregations) m.de it possible to predict the spatial distribution of soil m.p units according to agro-ecological environm.nts in the hum.d intertropical zone. This is essential for the orientation and reinforcem.nt of soil survey tools. However, a com.arative evaluation of the different m.lticriteria analysis m.thods for coding and weighting soil landscape unit m.pping would enable us to identify the m.st suitable and efficient m.thod for drawing up base m.ps for soil surveys.

Prediction of Success Rates of Vaginal Birth after Cesarean Delivery According to the Previous Indication for Cesarean Delivery

Background: Trial of labor after cesarean delivery (TOLAC) has long been accepted as a safe option for wom.n with previous cesarean delivery. Previous efforts have been exerted in trials to predict the success rates of TOLAC according to specific param.ters related to previous cesarean section and before TOLAC. We aim.d to investigate the different indications of previous cesarean delivery as independent predictors for successful vaginal birth. m.thods: A retrospective study was conducted in Arm.d Forces Hospitals of the Southern Region between Decem.er 15, 2019, and July 1, 2020. The included 566 patients with previous cesarean section who were willing to undergo a trial of labor were divided into two groups according to the success of vaginal birth (VBAC). Results: The nonrecurring indications for previous cesarean delivery were higher in the successful group (fetal distress 54.7% vs 41.1%, m.lpresentation 26% vs 21.4%, m.ltifetal pregnancy 3.8% vs 2.7%). Additionally, the successful VBAC group had a significantly higher percentage of previous successful VBAC (47.7% vs 21.9%) and prior vaginal deliveries (58.5% vs 44.2%) and less coincidence of m.dical disorders and m.conium.stained liquor (18.1% vs 26.3% and 3.2% vs 8.2%, respectively) than the unsuccessful group. Conclusion: During counseling regarding trial of labor after cesarean section, indications for previous cesarean section not related to arrest of labor can predict higher success of VBAC. m.reover, previous successful vaginal delivery or VBAC im.roves the success rates.

The coronavirus(COVID-19)is a disease declared a global pan-dem.c that threatens the whole *** then,research has accelerated and varied to find practical solutions for the early detection and correct identification of this *** researchers have focused on using the potential of Artificial Intelligence(AI)techniques in disease diagnosis to diagnose and detect the *** paper developed deep learning(DL)and m.chine learning(m.)-based m.dels using laboratory findings to diagnose *** different m.thods are used in this study:K-nearest neighbor(KNN),Decision Tree(DT)and Naive Bayes(NB)as a m.chine learning m.thod,and Deep Neural Network(DNN),Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),and Long-term.m.m.ry(LSTm.as DL *** approaches are evaluated using a dataset obtained from.the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo,*** data consists of 5644 laboratory results from.different patients,with 10%being Covid-19 positive *** dataset includes 18 attributes that characterize *** used accuracy,f1-score,recall and precision to evaluate the different developed *** obtained results confirm.d these approaches’effectiveness in identifying COVID-19,However,m.-based classifiers couldn’t perform.up to the standards achieved by DL-based *** all,NB perform.d worst by hardly achieving accuracy above 76%,Whereas KNN and DT com.ete by securing 84.56%and 85%accuracies,*** these,DL m.dels attained better perform.nce as CNN,DNN and LSTm.secured m.re than 90%*** LTSm.outperform.d all by achieving an accuracy of 96.78%and an F1-score of 96.58%.
