Adipose browning has demonstrated therapeutic potentials in several ***,by conducting transcriptomic profiling at the single-cell and single-nucleus resolution,we reconstituted the cellular atlas in mouse inguinal subcutaneous white adipose tissue(iWAT)at thermoneutrality or chronic cold *** major nonimmune cells within the iWAT,including adipose stem and progenitor cells(AspCs),mature adipocytes,endothelial cells,schwann cells,and smooth muscle cells,were recovered,allowing us to uncover an overall and detailed blueprint for transcriptomes and intercellular cross-talks and the dynamics during white adipose tissue brown *** findings also unravel the existence of subpopulations in mature adipocytes,AspCs,and endothelial cells,as well as new insights on their interconversion and reprogramming in response to *** adipocyte subpopulation competent of major histocompatibility complex class Ⅱ(MHCⅡ)antigen presentation is ***,a subcluster of AspC with CD74 expression was identified as the precursor of this MHCⅡ^(+)*** adipocytes are transdifferented from preexisting lipid generating adipocytes,which exhibit developmental trajectory from de novo differentiation of amphiregulin cells(Aregs).Two distinct immune-like endothelial subpopulations are present in iWAT and are responsive to *** data reveal fundamental changes during cold-evoked adipose browning.

Obesity is a major risk factor for cancers including hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)that develops from a background of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Hypercholesterolemia is a common comorbidity of *** cholesterol biosynthesis mainly occurs in the liver,its role in HCC development of obese people remains *** high-fat high-carbohydrate diet-associated orthotopic and spontaneous NAFLD-HCC mouse models,we found that hepatic cholesterol accumulation in obesity selectively suppressed natural killer T(NKT)cell-mediated antitumor *** analysis of human liver revealed aberrant cholesterol metabolism and NKT cell dysfunction in NAFLD ***,cholesterol-lowering rosuvastatin restored NKT expansion and cytotoxicity to prevent obesogenic diet-promoted HCC ***,suppression of hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis by a mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)inhibitor vistusertib preceded tumor regression,which was abolished by NKT inactivation but not CD8^(+)T cell ***,sterol regulatory element-binding protein 2(sREBp2)-driven excessive cholesterol production from hepatocytes induced lipid peroxide accumulation and deficient cytotoxicity in NKT cells,which were supported by findings in people with obesity,NAFLD and *** study highlights mTORC1/sREBp2/cholesterol-mediated NKT dysfunction in the tumor-promoting NAFLD liver microenvironment,providing intervention strategies that invigorating NKT cells to control HCC in the obesity epidemic.

purpose:The aim of the current study was to investigate the association of accelerometer-measured sleep duration and different intensities of physical activity(pA)with the risk of incident type 2 diabetes in a population-based prospective cohort ***:Altogether,88,000 participants(mean age=62.2±7.9 years,mean±sD)were included from the UK *** duration(short:8 h/day)and pA of different intensities were measured using a wrist-won accelerometer over a 7-day period between 2013 and *** was classified according to the median or World Health Organization-recommendation:total volume of pA(high,low),moderate-to-vigorous pA(MVpA)(recommended,not recommended),and light-intensity pA(high,low).Incidence of type 2diabetes was ascertained using hospital records or death ***:During a median follow-up of 7.0 years,1615 incident type 2 diabetes cases were *** with normal sleep duration,short(hazard ratio(HR)=1.21,95%confidence interval(95%CI):1.03-1.41)but not long sleep duration(HR=1.01,95%CI:0.89-1.15)was associated with excessive type 2 diabetes *** increased risk among short sleepers seems to be protected against by *** with normal sleepers with high or recommended pA,short sleepers with low volume of pA(HR=1.81,95%CI:1.46-2.25),not recommended(below the World Health Organization-recommended level of)MVpA(HR=1.92,95%CI:1.55-2.36),or low light-intensity pA(HR=1.49,95%CI:1.13-1.90)had a higher risk of type 2 diabetes,while short sleepers with a high volume of pA(HR=1.14,95%CI:0.88-1.49),recommended MVpA(HR=1.02,95%CI:0.71-1.48),or high light-intensity pA(HR=1.14,95%CI:0.92-1.41)did ***:Accelerometer-measured short but not long sleep duration was associated with a higher risk of incident type 2 diabetes.A higher level of pA,regardless of intensity,potentially ameliorates this excessive risk.

Ascertaining the influences of auxiliary qubits on the Einstein–podolsky–Rosen steering and its directions

Einstein–podolsky–Rosen(EpR) steering is an example of nontrivial quantum nonlocality and characteristic in the non-classical *** directivity(or asymmetry) is a fascinating trait of EpR steering,and it is different from other quantum ***,we consider the strategy in which two atoms compose a two-qubit X state,and the two atoms are owned by alice and Bob,*** atom of alice suffers from a reservoir,and the atom of Bob couples with a bit flip *** influences of auxiliary qubits on EpR steering and its directions are revealed by means of the entropy uncertainty *** results indicate that EpR steering declines with growing time t when adding fewer auxiliary *** EpR steering behaves as damped oscillation when introducing more auxiliary qubits in the strong coupling *** the weak coupling regime,the EpR steering monotonously decreases as t increases when coupling auxiliary *** increases in auxiliary qubits are responsible for the fact that the steerability from alice to Bob(or from Bob to alice) can be more effectively ***,the introductions of more auxiliary qubits can change the situation that steerability from alice to Bob is certain to a situation in which steerability from Bob to alice is certain.

Bithalamic Ischemic stroke in sickle Cell patient at the Kamenge University Hospital in Burundi: Case Report

Aim: To describe the clinical and radiological diagnostic for a sickle cell patient who got a bithalamic vasculature accident. Observation: This was a 4-year-old female child admitted to the pediatric ward for convulsive seizures in a feverish context. The physical examination did not find signs of meningeal irritation. The effective workup including thick gout, lumbar puncture, complete blood count, and C reactive protein was normal. An electrocencephalogram was not performed due to lack of availability of the device. Based on clinical data and the fact that Burundi is an area of high malaria prevalence, antimalarial and anticonvulsant treatment has been started. An alteration of consciousness (the Glasgow score of 7) had motivated a CT scan. Bithalamic hypodensities in favor of a vascular accident have been demonstrated. Etiological investigation revealed homozygous sickle cell disease ss during hemoglobin electrophoresis. The final evolution has been characterized by a return to normal consciousness. Conclusion: The complexity of the clinical picture following occlusion of percherons artery makes it difficult to diagnose. sickle cell disease may favour the occurrence of ischaemic lesions. Cerebral imaging enables the diagnosis to be made with certainty and avoids delays in treatment.

protected simultaneous quantum remote state preparation scheme by weak and reversal measurements in noisy environments

We discuss a quantum remote state preparation protocol by which two parties, alice and Candy, prepare a single-qubit and a two-qubit state, respectively, at the site of the receiver Bob. The single-qubit state is known to alice while the two-qubit state which is a non-maximally entangled Bell state is known to Candy. The three parties are connected through a single entangled state which acts as a quantum channel. We first describe the protocol in the ideal case when the entangled channel under use is in a pure state. After that, we consider the effect of amplitude damping(AD) noise on the quantum channel and describe the protocol executed through the noisy channel. The decrement of the fidelity is shown to occur with the increment in the noise parameter. This is shown by numerical computation in specific examples of the states to be created. Finally, we show that it is possible to maintain the label of fidelity to some extent and hence to decrease the effect of noise by the application of weak and reversal measurements. We also present a scheme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled resource which we require as a quantum channel. The generation scheme is run on the IBMQ platform.

目的:编制汉语发展性阅读障碍评估测验(C-DDAT),并进行效度和信度检验。方法:根据美国精神障碍诊断与统计手册第5版(DsM-5)关于阅读障碍核心特征描述以及阅读理论编制汉语发展性阅读障碍评估测验,包含汉字阅读准确性、流畅性以及阅读理解3个因子。在1925名1~6年级儿童中检验结构效度、内部一致性信度、复本信度,在63名典型发展儿童和26名发展性阅读障碍儿童中检验重测信度。结果:三因子结构模型拟合良好(χ^(2)/df=5.91,CFI=0.996,TLI=0.992,sRMR=0.014,RMsEA=0.056)。效标关联效度为0.51~0.98。汉字阅读准确性测验的内部一致性信度为0.99,汉字阅读流畅性和汉字阅读准确性的复本信度分别为0.94和0.98,重测信度为0.73~0.98。对临床样本进行ROC曲线分析发现,阅读商数(阅读测验综合评分)的区分灵敏性和特异性分别为0.92和0.98。结论:汉语发展性阅读障碍评估测验的效度、信度达到心理测量学要求,可用于基础研究中对儿童基本阅读技能的评估以及临床实践中对儿童阅读障碍诊断的参考。
