Currently,there is no huge scale study on threat aspects and incidence of dengue fever in Pakistan,as a result it must be carried out on a priority *** is the responsibility of the government to establish local community based laboratories and excellence research center for dengue cure,awareness and *** ailment could be cured in proper and better *** treatment of dengue is extremely difficult due to lack of available vaccines.A developing country like Pakistan cannot handle the problems due to lake of awareness,behavior of people,terrorisms and other socioeconomic factors of the country as well as government interest to cope the other problems as compared to this ***,more measures should be carried out to prevent the disease.

Objective:To investigate the antioxidant activity of aqueous,methanol,ethanol,acetone,ethyl acetate,chloroform and n-hexane extracts of Hippophae rhamnoides(***)***:Antioxidant activity was evaluated by using in-vitro antioxidant assays model 1,1’-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical-scavenging *** antioxidant activities were compared with standard antioxidant agents such as ascorbic ***:The antioxidant activities(%inhibition)of all the tested extracts were increased in the order ***>ethanol>aqueous>acetone>chloroform>ethyl acetate>*** methanol extract EC_(50)(μg/mL)value was compatible with vitamin C(standard).The antioxidant activity of *** leaves extracts increased in a dose dependent ***:It was observed that *** was a potential resource of antioxidants and thus could put off numerous radical linked diseases.

Objective:To evaluate brine shrimp lethality assay of solvent extracts(aqueous,methanol,ethanol,acetone,ethyl acetate,chloroform and n-hexane)of Hippophae rhamnoides(***)***:Brine shrimp cytotoxicity assay was used to assess the cytotoxic potential of *** leaves *** vials for concentration of each extract were made and 10 shrimps per vial(30 shrimps per dilution)were transferred to specific concentration of each ***:The mortality of aqueous extract was 46.7%,methanol extract was 46.7%,ethanolic extract was 50.0%,ethyl acetate was 26.7%,acetone extract was 33.3%,chloroform extract was 40.0%and n-hexane extract was 33.3%.The lowest LD50 was found in methanol extracts(1199.97μg/mL).Brine shrimp cytotoxicity of tested extracts of *** showed that mortality rate was concentration ***:It is concluded that bioactive components are present in all leaves extracts of ***,which could be accounted for its pharmacological ***,the results support the uses of this plant species in traditional medicine.

Objective:To evaluate the antitumor and anti-proliferative activities of methanol,aqueous,acetone,ethyl acetate,ethanol,chloroform and n-hexane extracts of Hippophae rhamnoides ***:Antitumor activities were evaluated by using the antitumor potato disc assay by using inoculums(Agrobacterium tumefaciens)with three different concentrations of test samples(10,100 and 1000 mg/L).Anti-proliferative activity was evaluated by the given method of methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium *** concentrations of the extract ranging from 0.039 to 10 mg/mL were tested against HeLa ***:Highest tumors inhibition activity(60.9%and 55.8%)was shown by methanol and ethanol extracts,with EC_(50) values of 424.41 and 434.61 mg/L *** 10 mg/mL,The highest cell inhibition 75.61%was observed in methanol extract and the lowest 36.59%were calculated in n-hexane *** difference in tumor and cell inhibition(%)may be due to the different concentration of active compounds responsible for antitumor and anti-proliferative *** extracts have considerable level of tumor and cell inhibitiory effect in a dose dependent ***:Our finding showed that Hippophae rhamnoides leaves are a potent natural source of antitumor and antiproliferative agent.

A novel magnetic acidic catalyst comprising Preyssler(H14[Na P5W30O110]) heteropoly acid support‐ed on silica coated nickel ferrite nanoparticles (Ni Fe2O4@Si O2) was *** catalyst was characterized by Fourier transform infrared,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X‐ray diffraction,energy dispersive spectrum,VSM and particle size *** catalytic activity was investigated for the synthesis of bis(dihydropyrimidinone)benzene and 3,4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1H)‐ones derivatives by the Biginelli *** the catalyst,the reac‐tions occurred in less than 1 h with good to excellent *** importantly,the catalyst was easily separated from the reaction mixture by an external magnet and reused at least five times without degradation in the activity.

Introduction: Pleural effusion (PF) is a common clinical presentation in several diseases. Tuberculosis is one of the most frequent causes of exudative pleural effusions in immunocompetent patients. Tuberculosis is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality from an infectious disease in developing countries. Pakistan is ranked fifth in the world in terms of tuberculosis high-burden countries. Various pleural fluid parameters have been used to identify the cause of pleural effusion. It has been discovered that tuberculous pleural effusions had a greater alkaline phosphatase (ALP) concentration than transudative effusions. This study used pleural fluid alkaline phosphatase levels to distinguish between tuberculous pleural effusion and malignant pleural effusion because there is little information from tuberculosis-high burden nations like Pakistan. Study Design: A descriptive cross-sectional study conducted at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center in Karachi between October 2016 and October 2017. Material and Methods: The study comprised all patients who were admitted to the department of chest medicine at Jinnah post graduate medical centre (JPMC) of either gender between the ages of 18 and 70 who had exudative lymphocytic pleural effusions lasting two weeks or more included in the study. Non probability consecutive sampling was used to collect data. Patients who have tonsillitis, pharyngitis, pneumonia, asthma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or a history of hemoptysis, Bleeding disorders like, platelet function disorder, thrombocytopenia, Liver cirrhosis and Pregnant women were excluded. Parents’ informed consent was obtained after being informed of the study’s protocol, hazards, and advantages. Each patient had their level of pleural fluid alkaline phosphate (PALP) assessed. Objective:To compare the proximate composition,mineral contents,antimicrobial,phytochemical and Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy analysis of bark,stem and seed of Hippophae ***:Proximate composition was determined according to the described *** analysis was carried out by atomic absorption spectroscopy and flame *** activities were evaluated according to the agar well diffusion *** qualitative analysis was carried out according to the described methods and functional groups were determined by FTIR Prestige-21 Shimadzu ***:The proximate analysis showed high content of protein and fiber in stem and *** content of Na(900 mg/L)and K(670 mg/L)was found in bark powder,while in seed,high contents of Ca(800 mg/L),Mg(725 mg/L),Fe(250 mg/L)Zn(90 mg/L)and Mn(65 mg/L)were found compared to stem and ***,flavonoids and tannins showed high contents in stem and bark of all *** bark aqueous extract showed high zone of inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus(21 mm)and Escherichia coli(20 mm),while methanol extract of stem showed high zone of inhibition(14 mm and 13 mm)against Enterococcus faecalis and Escherichia coli *** aqueous extract of bark documented high zone of inhibition against Aspergillus niger(21 mm)and Aspergillus parasiticus(20 mm).FTIR spectra revealed the presence of OH,C-O and C=O functional ***:The study concludes that bark,stem and seed extracts will be useful guideline for the new syntheses of feed,food supplements and herb drugs with various combination,which can be used for the treatment of many diseases at global level especially in tropical regions as well as the male nutrition problems in these areas.

Security and safety remain paramount concerns for both governments and individuals *** today’s context,the frequency of crimes and terrorist attacks is alarmingly increasing,becoming increasingly intolerable to ***,there is a pressing need for swift identification of potential threats to preemptively alert law enforcement and security forces,thereby preventing potential attacks or violent *** advancements in big data analytics and deep learning have significantly enhanced the capabilities of computer vision in object detection,particularly in identifying *** paper introduces a novel automatic firearm detection surveillance system,utilizing a one-stage detection approach named MARIE(Mechanism for Realtime Identification of Firearms).MARIE incorporates the Single Shot Multibox Detector(SSD)model,which has been specifically optimized to balance the speed-accuracy trade-off critical in firearm detection *** SSD model was further refined by integrating MobileNetV2 and InceptionV2 architectures for superior feature extraction *** experimental results demonstrate that this modified SSD configuration provides highly satisfactory performance,surpassing existing methods trained on the same dataset in terms of the critical speedaccuracy *** these innovations,MARIE sets a new standard in surveillance technology,offering a robust solution to enhance public safety effectively.
