Background:Fever of unknown origin(FUO)in developing countries is an important dilemma and further research is needed to elucidate the infectious causes of ***:A multi-center study for infectious causes of FUO in lower middle-income countries(LMIC)and lowincome countries(LIC)was conducted between January 1,2018 and January 1,*** total,15 participating centers from seven different countries provided the data,which were collected through the Infectious DiseasesInternational research Initiative *** adult patients with confirmed infection as the cause of FUO were included in the *** severity parameters were quick Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(qSOFA)≥2,intensive care unit(ICU)admission,vasopressor use,and invasive mechanical ventilation(IMV).results:A total of 160 patients with infectious FUO were included in the ***,148(92.5%)patients had community-acquired infections and 12(7.5%)had hospital-acquired *** most common infectious syndromes were tuberculosis(TB)(n=27,16.9%),infective endocarditis(n=25,15.6%),malaria(n=21,13.1%),brucellosis(n=15,9.4%),and typhoid fever(n=9,5.6%).Plasmodium falciparum,Mycobacterium tuberculosis,Brucellae,Staphylococcus aureus,Salmonella typhi,and rickettsiae were the leading infectious agents in this study.A total of 56(35.0%)cases had invasive procedures for *** mean qSOFA score was 0.76±0.94{median(interquartile range[IQr]):0(0–1)}.ICU admission(n=26,16.2%),vasopressor use(n=14,8.8%),and IMV(n=10,6.3%)were not ***,38(23.8%)patients had at least one of the severity *** mortality rate was 15(9.4%),and the mortality was attributable to the infection causing FUO in 12(7.5%)***:In LMIC and LIC,tuberculosis and cardiac infections were the most severe and the leading infections causing FUO.

Internet of things(IoT)field has emerged due to the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and communication *** use of IoT technology in modern healthcare environments is convenient for doctors and patients as it can be used in real-time monitoring of patients,proper administration of patient information,and healthcare ***,the usage of IoT in the healthcare domain will become a nightmare if patient information is not securely maintainedwhile transferring over an insecure network or storing at the administrator *** this manuscript,the authors have developed a secure IoT healthcare monitoring system using the Blockchainbased XOr Elliptic Curve Cryptography(BC-XOrECC)technique to avoid various vulnerable ***,thework has established an authentication process for patient details by generating tokens,keys,and tags using Length Ceaser Cipher-based PearsonHashingAlgorithm(LCC-PHA),EllipticCurve Cryptography(ECC),and Fishers Yates Shuffled Based Adelson-Velskii and Landis(FYS-AVL)*** authentications prevent unauthorized users from accessing or misuse the *** that,a secure data transfer is performed using BC-XOrECC,which acts faster by maintaining high data privacy and blocking the path for the ***,the Linear Spline Kernel-Based recurrent Neural Network(LSK-rNN)classification monitors the patient’s health *** whole developed framework brings out a secure data transfer without data loss or data breaches and remains efficient for health care monitoring via *** analysis shows that the proposed framework achieves a faster encryption and decryption time,classifies the patient’s health status with an accuracy of 89%,and remains robust comparedwith the existing state-of-the-art method.

This paper presents the results of natural radioactivity measured for the soil of Qena using gamma-ray spectrometry at ZSr,Hanover University,*** samples of radioactive concentrations of ^(238)U-series (^(234)Th, ^(214)pb,and^(214)Bi),^(232)Th-series (^(228)Ac,^(212)pb,and ^(208)T1) and ^(40)K were *** objectives were set:(1) activity levels by surface soil sampling at 0～30 cm depth,(2) dose rates of gamma radiation,radium equivalent,index hazard, and effective dose,and (3) ambient dose rates.
