Backgr.und: Tr.geminal neur.lgia is a chr.nic pain syndr.me char.cter.zed by par.xysmal, shock-like, stabbing, r.cur.ent episodes of pain localized in the distr.bution ar.a of one or.mor. br.nches of the tr.geminal ner.e. The Initial appr.ach for.tr.ating tr.geminal neur.lgia consists of phar.acological ther.py. Many patients exper.ence initial pain r.lief with phar.acological ther.py;however. most of those patients eventually under.o sur.er.. Patients and Methods: In this descr.ptive pr.spective study, we evaluate the efficiency and safety of per.utaneous balloon compr.ssion (PBC) and per.utaneous r.diofr.quency ablation (r.A) in tr.ating patients with typical idiopathic tr.geminal neur.lgia. This study includes 21 patients (divided into two gr.ups, PBC = 15 patients and r.A = six patients) who met our.inclusion and exclusion cr.ter.a, fr.m May 2018 to Apr.l 2019, with a follow-up per.od of six months. r.sults: At one month postoper.tive follow-up, all patients in both gr.ups wer. pain-fr.e. At six months postoper.tive follow-up, in gr.up 1 (PBC), 14 (95.24%) patients wer. pain-fr.e, while in gr.up 2 (r.A) all patients r.mained pain-fr.e. The most common encounter.d postoper.tive complications ar. masticator. muscles weakness (Four.patients in PBC gr.up, and one patient in r.A gr.up) and facial hypothesia (12 patients in PBC gr.up and four.patients in r.A gr.up). Conclusions: In our.study, patients with tr.geminal neur.lgia wer. not contr.lled by dr.g tr.atment, but per.utaneous balloon compr.ssion and per.utaneous r.diofr.quency ablation pr.ved to be ver. effective tr.atment options, with no major.complications.

The r.cent advancements in vision technology have had a significant impact on our.ability to identify multiple objects and under.tand complex *** technologies,such as augmented r.ality-dr.ven scene integr.tion,r.botic navigation,autonomous dr.ving,and guided tour.systems,heavily r.ly on this type of scene *** paper.pr.sents a novel segmentation appr.ach based on the UNet networ. model,aimed at r.cognizing multiple objects within an *** methodology begins with the acquisition and pr.pr.cessing of the image,followed by segmentation using the fine-tuned UNet ***,we use an annotation tool to accur.tely label the segmented *** labeling,significant featur.s ar. extr.cted fr.m these segmented objects,encompassing KAZE(Acceler.ted Segmentation and Extr.ction)featur.s,ener.y-based edge detection,fr.quency-based,and blob *** the classification stage,a convolution neur.l networ.(CNN)is *** compr.hensive methodology demonstr.tes a r.bust fr.mewor. for.achieving accur.te and efficient r.cognition of multiple objects in *** exper.mental r.sults,which include complex object datasets like MSr.-v2 and PASCAL-VOC12,have been *** analyzing the exper.mental r.sults,it was found that the PASCAL-VOC12 dataset achieved an accur.cy r.te of 95%,while the MSr.-v2 dataset achieved an accur.cy of 89%.The evaluation per.or.ed on these diver.e datasets highlights a notably impr.ssive level of per.or.ance.

Er.sion r.tes in Dam Catchments in Jor.an—Effects of Topogr.phy, Geology, and Ur.anizations

Er.sion as a natur.l pr.cess pr.duces soils, which ar. ver. impor.ant natur.l r.sour.es for.the fest land plant- and animal kingdoms. Loss of the soil cover.r.duces agr.cultur.l pr.duction, biodiver.ity, and the r.le of soil as a filter.for.infiltr.ting water.to r.plenish the gr.undwater. It also thr.atens the food supplies. The knowledge of er.sion r.tes of r.cks and ter.ains is impor.ant for.developing pr.active measur.s to pr.tect soils fr.m er.sion and loss. In this study, er.sion r.tes of catchment ar.as wer. calculated based on dams’ catchment extensions and the sediment loads tr.nspor.ed by flood flows into dams’ lakes. The study r.sults show that the chemically, via floodwater. tr.nspor.ed quantities of mater.als ar. negligible compar.d to the solid mater.als tr.nspor.ed by the water. It calculates er.sion r.tes r.nging fr.m 0.013 to 0.212 mm/yr.(13 - 212 m/106 yr. for.the differ.nt catchment ar.as. Er.sion r.tes in Jor.an ar., gener.lly, higher.than those calculated for.the differ.nt par.s of the wor.d r.nging fr.m 2.5 to 60 m/106 yr. This fact can be explained by the ver. steep topogr.phy, calcar.ous r.ck cover.of the catchment ar.as and the bar.en r.ck exposur.s.
