Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine embryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and modulating lipid metabolism-related genes(LMGs), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvement on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and metabo-lism is crucial for early embryo development and can determine the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive molecules within EVs in maternal reproductive fluids, such as micro RnAs(miRnAs), may contribute to this regulatory process as they modulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated miRnA cargo in OF-EVs from the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from the mid-luteal phase, coinciding with embryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on LMGs and sign-aling pathways crucial for early embryo development. A total of 333 miRnAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were common between both groups. From the 20 differentially expressed miRnAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-EVs(bta-miR-134, bta-miR-151-3p, bta-miR-155, bta-miR-188, bta-miR-181b, bta-miR-181d, bta-miR-224, bta-miR-23b-3p, bta-miR-24-3p, bta-miR-27a-3p, bta-miR-29a, bta-miR-324, bta-miR-326, bta-miR-345-3p, bta-miR-410, bta-miR-652, bta-miR-677, bta-miR-873 and bta-miR-708) and one(bta-miR-148b) in OF-EVs. The Monte Desert is characterized by a great diversity of landforms created with fluvial， alluvial which the vegetation patterns are related to. The present work has the following objectives: 1: determine whether topographical attributes， surface characteristics， soil properties and vegetation patterns vary between alluvial landforms， and 2: define whether morphometric， soil and surface properties influence vegetation patterns along alluvial landscape. Morphometric data were obtained by processing a 5 m digital elevation model. The coverage of rock fragments， fine sediments and mulch was quantified. Observations and descriptions of the soil profiles were restricted to the uppermost 50 cm. Vegetation properties were calculated using a Point Quadrat Method. The relationship between variables was evaluated through multivariate statistical analysis. The main results show the presence of 45 plant species distributed in 19 families， where shrubs are dominant. The wind effect， topographic wetness and dissection of the landscape are limiting factors of diversity. The coverage of superficial rock fragments influence vegetation coverage through the distribution and availability of rainwater. Furthermore， the different soil textures reveal that the silt content favors an increase in vegetation coverage. The presence of V horizon could condition the installation and development of vegetation in the early stages of growth.

Background In ambrosia and bark beetles–fungi interaction, volatile organic compounds(VOCs) play a central role in mediating various aspects of community dynamics of beetles and/or fungi. These functions include facilitating beetle habitat location, mate identification, and fungal partner differentiation. However, the understanding on this context remains limited, especially in the globally distributed subfamily Platypodinae, which comprises predomi-nantly ambrosia beetles. There is a lack of chemical data on ambrosia fungi from native South American species. This study addresses this gap by characterizing VOCs from twelve fungal species associated with Megaplatypus mutatus and assessing species-specific behavioral responses during *** Fungal VOCs were collected by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry combined with solid-phase microextraction and Y-olfactometry assays of males and females were performed at dispersal stage. Statistical analyses involved: non-metric multidimensional scaling multivariate plot and PERMAnOVA test, a cluster analysis through unweighted pair group method with Jaccard index, and finally, a chi-square goodness-of-fit test for beetle behavioral *** We identified 72 VOCs from the fungal species isolated from M. mutatus galleries, exocuticle, and gut. The olfactory behavior of M. mutatus demonstrated its capacity to discriminate between volatile profiles, showing a pref-erence for either the fungus or the control source. Background: Myocardial ischemia in addition to other several cardiac syndromes represent a pathological proinflammatory state alongside a complex cellular microenvironment that can be modified by using cannabinoids. Cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound of cannabis has been recently proposed as an immudomodulatory and cardioprotective drug. Objectives: In this systematic review we sought to clarify and summarize the clinical and preclinical evidence of potential benefit of the use of CBD in coronary syndromes. Methods: We conducted a systematic search and review according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) and Review of Animal Data from Experimental Studies (CAMARADES) guidelines, in the electronic database from PubMed, Web of Science and Scopus up to April 2022 using predefined search terms. Pre-specified exclusion and inclusion criteria were considered, finally 11 articles were chosen to be included for this peer review. Results: Currently there are no good-quality clinical trials with the use of CBD in acute or chronic coronary syndromes. A total of 11 preclinical studies where prescreened and 5 demonstrated reproducible positive cardiovascular outcomes on in-vivo models treated with CBD. Mechanisms of CBD cardioprotection observed: 1) reduction in oxidative stress and inflammation, 2) activation of adenosine receptors and 3) increased expression of angiotensin type 2-receptor. Experimental models included ischemia/reperfusion injury, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and metabolic syndrome-like conditions. Conclusion: no clinical recommendation can be issued with the current evidence, on the use of CBD in acute and chronic coronary syndromes. Based on preclinical evidence, we considered there is enough evidence to propose the development of well-designed clinical trials that include CBD in the management of coronary syndromes.

This article presents an analysis of the patterns of interactions resulting from the positive and negative emotional events that occur in cities,considering them as complex *** explores,from the imaginaries,how certain urban objects can act as emotional agents and how these events affect the urban system as a *** adaptive complex systems perspective is used to analyze these *** results show patterns in the processes and dynamics that occur in cities based on the objects that affect the emotions of the people who live *** patterns depend on the characteristics of the emotional charge of urban objects,but they can be generalized in the following process:(1)immediate reaction by some individuals;(2)emotions are generated at the individual level which begins to generalize,permuting to a collective emotion;(3)a process of reflection is detonated in some individuals from the reading of collective emotions;(4)integration/significance in the community both at the individual and collective level,on the concepts,roles and/or functions that give rise to the process in the ***,it is clear that emotions play a significant role in the development of cities and these aspects should be considered in the design strategies of all kinds of projects for the *** extensions of this work could include a deeper analysis of specific emotional events in urban environments,as well as possible implications for urban policy and decision making.

Metamizole(MZ)is a widely used anti-inflammatory *** to its common use,this contaminant is found in sewage and *** order to reduce the contamination produced by the MZ,we fabricated in this work a photocatalytic composite using recycled polyethylene(RPE)and the CaLaCoO_(9)(LCCO)*** nanoparticles had a microplate-like morphology and sizes of 1.4–5.5μm according to the analysis of *** photocatalytic properties of the LCCO powders were evaluated under ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)irradiation and found a removal efficiency of 96%.When the RPE+LCCO composite was employed for the photocatalytic degradation of MZ,a maximum degradation of 92.5%was *** influence of the pH on the photocatalytic activity was also studied and found that an initial pH=3 produced a total degradation of MZ after 240 min of UV-Vis ***,three reuse cycles were carried out for the pure LCCO powders and for the RPE+LCCO composites and found that the maximum loss of degradation was 5%.Furthermore,scavenger experiments demonstrated that the super oxide and hydroxyl radicals are formed during the photocatalytic reaction and were responsible for the degradation of ***,the X-ray photoelectron-spectroscopy and Raman analysis demonstrated the formation of defects(oxygen vacancies),those ones delayed the electron-hole recombination,which in turn,enhanced the degradation of the ***,the studies performed in this work proved that composites made with recycled plastics and LCCO perovskites are a low-cost and feasible alternative for the cleaning of water sources polluted with pharmaceutical compounds.
