Combining the performance advantages of both Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and Ad hoc network, Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is characterized by large capacity, high rate and wide coverage. It has become an effective means for broadband wireless access and can be applied flexibly in various wireless environments. The wired connections between base stations in traditional cellular mobile communications systems can no longer satisfy the requirements for flexible deployment, low cost, high scalability and good reliability. The wireless Mesh architecture for IP-based base stations is thus introduced as an optional solution to support the flat and simplified next generation mobile communications networks. The key technologies used to support self-organization of IP-based base stations involve several aspects, including on-demand self-organization of base stations, joint radio resource scheduling mechanism, routing, security and network management.

A novel simply-structured hybrid smart antenna system suitable to be used in ad-hoc network terminals is proposed in this letter. The super-resolution beamforming algorithm is also pre-sented based on the system using DOA estimation results. The algorithm can switch the beamforming to the direction of the expected signal and get the best transmitting performance after the pre-beamforming of the Butler matrix. The shifting value formulas are presented to obtain the best SNR when there is no interfering signal and to acquire the highest Signal to Interference Ratio (SIR) as there is one interfering signal. When there are more than one interfering signals,the pre-beamforming feature of the Butler matrix can also suppress the interfering signals. Simulation results verified the algorithm.

Survivability for multi-domain optical networks is becoming a key parameter due to expanding network. In order to provide the shared-path-protected lightpath in multi-domain optical mesh networks, we propose a protection solution, called GSLSSP. A new source egress gateway selecting mechanism is adopted in this solution. For each connection request, this mechanism can enable the source node to select a better egress gateway node to the destination domain and compute one inter-domain working path near the optimal path with the cooperating of this gateway node, under scalability and domain privacy constraint of multi-domain networks. And then one intra-domain link-disjoint local segment-backup path for each working-segment path is computed out in each single-domain passed by the working path. Simulation evaluation shows that the proposed scheme can provide 100% protection ability for multiple failures. Besides, it is effective in multi-domain path protection with more efficient resource utilization, lower blocking probabilities and less inter-domain cost than other schemes.

In this paper, the idea of interest coverage is provided to form clusters in sensor network, which mean that the distance among data trends gathered by neighbor sensors is so small that, in some period, those sensors can be clustered, and certain sensor can be used to replace the cluster to form the virtual sensor network topology. In detail, the Jensen-Shannon Divergence (JSD) is used to characterize the distance among different distributions which represent the data trend of sensors. Then, based on JSD, a hierarchical clustering algorithm is provided to form the virtual sensor network topology. Simulation shows that the proposed approach gains more than 50% energy saving than Sta- tistical Aggregation Methods (SAM) which transmitted data gathered by sensor only when the differ- ence among data exceed certain threshold.

It is significant to automatically detect and resolve the incompliance in security *** existing works in this field focus on compliance verification,and few of them provide approaches to automatically correct the incompliant security *** paper proposes a novel approach to automatically transform a given security policy into a compliant *** security policy Π and delegation policy M declared by logic programs,the approach automatically rewrites Π into a new one ΠM which is compliant with M and is readable by the *** prove that the algorithm is sound and complete under noninterference ***,we show that the security policy query evaluation algorithm with conflict and unsettlement resolution still works very well on Π*** approach is automatic,so it doesn't require a administrator with excess *** this sense,our proposal can help us to save much manpower resource in security management and improves the security assurance abilities.

We study a class of discounted models of singular stochastic control. In thiskind of models, not only the structure of cost function has been extended to some general type, butalso the state can be represented as the solution of a class of stochastic differential equationswith nonlinear drift and diffusion term. By the various methods of stochastic analysis, we derivethe sufficient and necessary conditions of the existence of optimal control.

There is a harmful effect on optical cable in a dangerous electromagnetic environment. The optical cable ed he affected by high-intensity electromagnetic impulse due to temperature rise. This paper will discuss these effects and introduce some protection measures. Finally, we point out other ef fects on optical cable from moisture, nuclear radiation and dangerous industrial environment.
