In this study,by means of homotopy perturbation method(HPM) an approximate solution of the magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) boundary layer flow is *** main feature of the HPM is that it deforms a difficult problem into a set of problems which are easier to *** produces analytical expressions for the solution to nonlinear differential *** obtained analytic solution is in the form of an infinite power *** this work,the analytical solution obtained by using only two terms from HPM *** with the exact solution and the solution obtained by the Pade approximants and shooting method show the high accuracy,simplicity and efficiency of this method.

LiEr0.02Fe0.98PO4/C composite cathode was synthesized by a simple solution method with polyethylene glycol （PEG） as the reductive agent and carbon source. The effect of erbium doping on the electrochemical behavior of LiFePO4 was studied in this paper. The samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy and the electrochemical properties were investigated by the charge-discharge test. An initial discharge capacity of 149 mAh.g-1 was achieved for the LiEr0.02Fe0.98PO4/C composite cathode with a rate of 0.1 C. The electronic conductivity of Er doped LiFePO4/C was measured as 10-2 ***-1. The results indicated that erbium doping did not destroy the lattice structure of LiFePO4 and enlarge the lattice volume. These changes are beneficial to the improvement of the electrochemical performance of the LiFePO4 cathode.

The camphor sulfonic acid doped polyaniline-WO3-multiwall carbon nanotube(CSA PANI-WO3-CNT)ternary nanocomposite was synthesized during in-situ oxidative polymerization and characterized by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction(XRD),Field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The application of CSA PANIWO3-CNT ternary nanocomposite was investigated as the photocatalyst in the degradation of methylene blue dye(MB)and as the noble metal-free photoanode in photoelectrochemical water splitting under solar light *** degradation percentage of MB dye after 60 min illumination by CSA PANI-WO3-CNT ternary nanocomposite reached 91.40%which was higher than that of pure WO3(43.45%),pure CSA PANI(48.4%)and CSA PANI-WO3 binary nanocomposite(85.15%).The photocurrent density of indium tin oxide(ITO)/CSA PANI-WO3-CNT photoanode obtained 0.81 m A/cm2 at 1.23 V *** hydrogen electrode under illumination which was 1.27,2.13,and 4.26 times higher than that of the ITO/CSA PANI-WO3(0.64 m A/cm2),ITO/pure CSA PANI(0.38 m A/cm2),and ITO/pure WO3(0.19 m A/cm2).Also,the applied bias photon-to-current efficiency(ABPE)of ITO/CSA PANI-WO3-CNT was obtained 0.11%which showed two-fold,four-fold,and five-fold enhancements compared to the ITO/CSA PANI-WO3,ITO/CSA PANI,and ITO/WO3,*** electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,as well as the Mott-Schottky results,confirmed the better photoelectrocatalytic activity of ITO/CSA PANI-WO3-CNT in comparison with ITO/WO3,ITO/CSA PANI,and ITO/CSA *** observed improvement in the photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic performances of WO3 in the presence of CSA PANI is due to the formation of type-II heterojunction between WO3 and CSA PANI which allows the separation of charge carriers easier and *** the other hand,MWCNT addition to the CSA PANI-

AIM:To evaluate the results and complications of secondary endoresection via pars plana vitrectomy for choroidal melanoma and review the previously reported endoresection studies on the treatment of choroidal ***:The medical records of 6 patients with choroidal melanoma who underwent secondary endoresection between March 2012 and March 2020 were retrospectively *** indications for secondary endoresection were progressive or recurrent tumor and severe exudative retinal detachment after previous treatment with plaque radiotherapy/Cyberknife radiosurgery/transpupillary thermotherapy(TTT).RESULTS:Before endoresection,2 eyes had Iodine-125 plaque radiotherapy and TTT,1 eye had Ruthenium-106 plaque radiotherapy and TTT,1 eye had Cyberknife radiosurgery and TTT,1 eye had Cyberknife radiosurgery,and 1 eye had TTT *** visual acuity ranged from 20/63 to 20/1600(Snellen) and from 0.5 to 1.9(mean:1.1) on the log MAR *** mean tumor base diameters were 9.5×8.7 mm and the mean tumor thickness was 5.4 *** secondary endoresection,transient vitreous hemorrhage developed in 2(33.3%) eyes and retinal detachment in 1(16.7%) *** examination revealed epithelioid cell melanoma in 4(66.7%) eyes and mixed cell melanoma in 1(16.7%).Melanoma cell type was not specified in 1(16.7%) *** a mean follow-up of 49.6 mo(range:16-90 mo),mean visual acuity did not improve and 1 eye was enucleated due to tumor *** visual acuity ranged from 20/63 to 20/1600(Snellen) and from 0.5 to 1.9(mean:1.2) on the log MAR *** patients with choroidal melanoma developed metastasis and eventually ***:Secondary endoresection seems to be an effective treatment option for globe salvage in choroidal melanoma not responsive to conventional treatment and displaying persistent exudative retinal *** was no visual acuity increase among the treated eyes but globe salvage was possible in most cases in this study.

In this article, a special type of fractional differential equations(FDEs) named the density-dependent conformable fractional diffusion-reaction(DDCFDR) equation is studied. Aforementioned equation has a significant role in the modelling of some phenomena arising in the applied science. The well-organized methods, including the exp(-φ(ε))-expansion and modified Kudryashov methods are exerted to generate the exact solutions of this equation such that some of the solutions are new and have been reported for the first time. Results illustrate that both methods have a great performance in handling the DDCFDR equation.

Increasing loss of mature boreal forests around protected areas with red-listed forest species

Background:Protected areas(PA)are central to biodiversity,but their efficiency is challenged by human‑induced habitat loss and *** the Fennoscandian boreal region,forestry with clearcutting is a threat to biodiversity causing the loss of mature forest elements and deterioration of ecological processes in forest landscapes,ultimately affecting PAs via declined structural *** paper aims to(1)determine PAs with high,red‑listed species concentrations;(2)estimate the change in forest habitat around these PAs on different spatial scales;and(3)determine if forest management intensity is higher around biologically most valuable *** of red‑listed forest‑dwelling species in Finland were used to identify PAs harbouring these species and to produce site‑specific importance *** landcover data was used as a baseline for the distribution of forests to assess the cover of clear‑cuttings from 2001 to 2019 with the Global Forest Change(GFC)data set in three buffer areas around the PAs with occurrences of red‑listed ***:The largest proportion of clear‑cuts occurred in 1 km and 10 km buffers around the PAs in the southern and middle boreal zones,being ca.20%.This indicates that the forest habitat is degrading fast at regional and landscape *** the positive side,the change in forest cover was lower around the biologically most important PAs compared to other PAs with red‑listed ***:Open and free satellite‑data based assessments of the cover and change of forests provide reliable estimates about the rates at which mature and old‑growth forests are being converted into young managed ones in Finland mainly via clear‑cuts on different scales around *** rate of clear‑cuts was lowest in adjacent buffer areas next to the most species‑rich PAs,which provides opportunities for biodiversity conservation efforts to be targeted to the remaining mature and old‑growth forests found in the vicinity of these areas.

Infection with hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a common cause of chronic liver disease,and HCV-related cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma are the leading causes for liver transplantation in the Western *** infection of the transplanted liver allograft is universal in patients with detectable HCV viremia at the time of transplant and can cause a spectrum of disease,ranging from asymptomatic chronic infection to an aggressive fibrosing cholestatic *** HCV is more aggressive in the post-transplant population and is a leading cause of allograft loss,morbidity,and ***,treatment of recurrent HCV has been limited by low rates of treatment success and high side effect *** the past few years,promising new therapies have emerged for the treatment of HCV that have high rates of sustained virological response without the need for interferon based *** addition to being highly effective,these treatments have higher rates of adherence and a lower side effect *** purpose of this review is to summarize current therapies in recurrent HCV infection,to review the recent advances in therapy,and to highlight areas of ongoing research.
