Tilted global solar irradiance in Bahrain.an experimen.al study

In the present work,tilted global solar irradiance data are presented and analysed,measured for a period of 1 year on the campus of Bahrain Polytechnic,Kingdom of Bahrain,from both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a moving one via a two-axis solar *** fixed panel faces south with an.angle of 26°with respect to the horizon.al,coinciding with the local geographical *** second panel is moved by two motors,controlled by a global positioning system and suitable software so that the Sun’s rays are perpendicular to the panel surface.A pyranometer is installed on each panel,recording the tilted global solar irradiance,stored by using a data *** analysis of the data obtained shows a 33%solar energy gain on.an.ann.al basis for the moving panel(2780 versus 2088 kWh/m^(2) on the fixed panel).More importantly,in June,when the energy demand in Bahrain is elevated due to the increased residential cooling loads,the solar energy received by the moving panel is 54.7%higher compared with that of the fixed *** a percen.age basis,the increase in solar energy from the moving panel is profound in the early morning and late evening ***,the reduction in the solar energy received by the fixed panel from May to June does not appear in the moving panel because of the adjustable orien.ation of the *** the year,the mean daily solar power varies between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m^(2) for the fixed panel,and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m^(2) for the moving *** winter,solar energy fluctuations are elevated due to erratic weather conditions that present a peak stan.ard deviation of 28%of the corresponding *** data presented are useful for potential solar investments in Gulf countries.

The emergence of Beyond 5G(B5G)and 6G networks translated personal and industrial operations highly effective,reliable,and gainful by speeding up the growth of next generation Internet of Things(IoT).Industrial equipment in 6G encompasses a huge number of wireless sensors,responsible for collecting massive quantities of *** the same time,6G network can take real-world intelligent decisions and implement automated equipment *** the inclusion of different technologies into the system increased its energy consumption for which appropriate measures need to be *** has become man.atory for optimal resource allocation in 6G-enabled industrial *** this scenario,the current research paper introduces a new metaheuristic resource allocation strategy for clusterbased 6G industrial applications,named MRAS-CBIA *** technique aims at accomplishing energy efficiency and optimal resource allocation in 6G-enabled industrial *** proposed MRAS-CBIR technique involves three major ***,Weighted Clustering Technique(WCT)is employed to elect the optimal Cluster Heads(CHs)or coordinating agents with the help of three parameters namely,residual energy,distance,and node ***,Decision Tree-based Location Prediction(DTLP)mechanism is applied to determine the exact location of Management Agent(MA).Finally,Fuzzy C-means with Tunicate Swarm Algorithm(FCMTSA)is used for optimal resource allocation in 6G industrial *** performance of the proposed MRAS-CBIA technique was validated and the results were examined under different *** resultant experimen.al values highlighted the superior performance of MRAS-CBIR technique over existing state-of-the-art methods.

Marine microorganisms were considered to be important sources of marine bioactive *** major objective of the study was to isolate and characterize bacteria with antimicrobial activities from the various marine environment of *** this respect,thirty-five bacterial isolates were recovered from sediment samples collected from different spots along the Egyptian Red Sea coastline and Alexandria coastline during the summer season of 2017 and *** to the morphological,physiological,and biochemical characteristics,the bacterial isolates were clustered into 13 groups designated as A,B,…,***,14 Gram-negative and 21 Grampositive bacteria were *** isolated bacterial strains were screened for their potentiality for antimicrobial agent(s)production.against ten indicator *** Mo13 was showed high antimicrobial activity against all empirical ***,the most promising marine bacterial isolate with code MO13 was identified as Bacillus zhangzhouensis OMER4 according to the phenotypic characterization through morphological,physiological,and biochemical tests as well as genotypic characterization through the 16 S rDnA *** bioactive components were extracted with ethyl acetate,then.analyzed using GC-MS and the substantial component was recognized as phenol,2,4-bis(1,1-dimethyl ethyl).

A good wound dressing needs to promote wound healing and tissue repair when the skin is *** this study,a self-made spherical section free surface electrospinning device was used to produce large quantities of electrospun porous polylactic acid(PLA)/chitosan(CS)/aloin nanofiber membranes(nFMs)for antibacterial wound *** porous structures of PLAbased nanofibers were controlled by adjusting the weight ratios of mixed solvent and *** results showed that highquality porous PLA/CS/aloin(PCA)nFMs were obtained when the weight ratios of chloroform/n,n-dimethylformamide and PLA:CS were 90/10 and 7:1,*** porous PCA nFMs exhibited high porosity,acceptable mechanical properties,moderate hydrophobicity,good swelling property,and high water vapor transmission ***,they also showed excellent blood coagulative,antibacterial,biocompatible properties,which had the potential to be used in the application of antibacterial wound dressings.

Instance segmen.ation.an important image processing operation for automation in.agriculture,is used to precisely delin.ate individual objects of interestwithin images,which provides foun.ational information for various automated or robotic tasks such as selective harvesting and precision *** study compares the one-stage YOLOv8 and the two-stage Mask R-Cnn machine learning models for instance segmen.ation under varying orchard conditions across two *** 1,collected in dormant season,includes images of dormant apple trees,which were used to train multi-object segmen.ation models delin.ating tree branches and *** 2,collected in the early growing season,includes images of apple tree canopies with green foliage and immature(green.apples(also called fruitlet),which were used to train single-object segmen.ation models delin.ating only immature green *** results showed that YOLOv8 performed better than Mask R-Cnn.achieving good precision.and n.ar-perfect recall across both datasets at a confidence threshold of ***,for Dataset 1,YOLOv8 achieved a precision of 0.90 and a recall of 0.95 for all *** comparison,Mask R-Cnn demonstrated a precision of 0.81 and a recall of 0.81 for the *** Dataset 2,YOLOv8 achieved a precision of 0.93 and a recall of *** R-Cnn,in this single-class scenario,achieved a precision of 0.85 and a recall of ***,the inference times for YOLOv8 were 10.9 ms for multi-class segmen.ation(Dataset 1)and 7.8 ms for single-class segmen.ation(Dataset 2),compared to 15.6 ms and 12.8 ms achieved by Mask R-Cnn's,*** findings showYOLOv8's superior accuracy and efficiency in machine learning applications compared to two-stage models,specifically Mask-R-Cnn,which suggests its suitability in developing smart and automated orchard operations,particularly when real-time applications are necessary in such cases as robotic harvesting and robotic immature green fruit thin

The introduction of w-operation in the class of flat modules has been successful. Let R be a ring. An R-module M is called a w-fiat module if Tor1r（M, n） is GV-torsion for all R-modules n. In this paper, we introduce the w-operation in Gorenstein homological algebra. An R-module M is called Ding w-flat if there exists an exact sequence of projective R-modules ... → P1 → P0 → p0 → p1 → ... such that M Im（P0 → p0） and such that the functor HomR （-,F） leaves the sequence exact whenever F is w-flat. Several well- known classes of rings are characterized in terms of Ding w-flat modules. Some examples are given to show that Ding w-flat modules lie strictly between projective modules and Gorenstein projective modules. The Ding w-flat dimension （of modules and rings） and the existence of Ding w-flat precovers are also studied.

The thermo-electric behavior of shape memory alloy （SMA） wire was presented. When the wire was electrically heated above its transformation temperature by current, a large mechanical force is exerted due to transformation in its phases. In order to make use of SMA wire as an.actuator, different parameters and their relationships were investigated. These parameters are recoverable strain （displacement）, temperature hysteresis and electrical resistance variation under different stress levels. Optimum safe heating current was assessed and phase transformation temperatures were estimated by heat transfer model. The wire was heated and cooled by 680 mA of current for 796 s under natural air convection. The strain recovered is 4.33% and corresponding change in resistance is 11.2% at 43 MPa of stress. The resistance variation shows lin.arly with displacement and current during heating and cooling cycle respectively. This study will be useful in precisely controlling of SMA wire actuator with and without external sensor feedback.
