Enhancing Security and Privacy in Distributed Face Recognition Systems through Blockchain and GAN Technologies

The use of privacy-enhanced facial recognition has increased in response to growing concerns about data securityand privacy in the digital age. This trend is spurred by rising demand for face recognition technology in a varietyof industries, including access control, law enforcement, surveillance, and internet communication. However,the growing usage of face recognition technology has created serious concerns about data monitoring and userprivacy preferences, especially in context-aware systems. In response to these problems, this study provides a novelframework that integrates sophisticated approaches such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Blockchain,and distributed computing to solve privacy concerns while maintaining exact face recognition. The framework’spainstaking design and execution strive to strike a compromise between precise face recognition and protectingpersonal data integrity in an increasingly interconnected environment. Using cutting-edge tools like Dlib for faceanalysis,Ray Cluster for distributed computing, and Blockchain for decentralized identity verification, the proposedsystem provides scalable and secure facial analysis while protecting user privacy. The study’s contributions includethe creation of a sustainable and scalable solution for privacy-aware face recognition, the implementation of flexibleprivacy computing approaches based on Blockchain networks, and the demonstration of higher performanceover previous methods. Specifically, the proposed StyleGAN model has an outstanding accuracy rate of 93.84%while processing high-resolution images from the CelebA-HQ dataset, beating other evaluated models such asProgressive GAN 90.27%, CycleGAN 89.80%, and MGAN 80.80%. With improvements in accuracy, speed, andprivacy protection, the framework has great promise for practical use in a variety of fields that need face recognitiontechnology. The Strategic Form of Quantum Prisoners' Dilemma

In a normal form, prisoners' dilemma (PD) is represented by a payoff matrix showing players' strategies and payoffs. To obtain the distinguishing trait and strategic form of PD, certain constraints are imposed on the elements of its payoff matrix. We quantize PD by a generalized quantization scheme to analyze its strategic behavior in the quantum domain. The game starts with a general entangled state of the form |ψ>=cos(ξ/2)|00>+sin(ξ/2)|11> and the measurement for payoffs is performed in entangled and product bases. We show that for both measurements, there exist respective cutoff values of entanglement of the initial quantum state up to which the strategic form of the game remains intact. Beyond these cutoffs the quantized PD behaves like the chicken game (CG) up to another cutoff value. For the measurement in the entangled basis the dilemma is resolved for sinξ >1/7 with Q⊗Q as a Nash Equilibrium (NE). Quantum State Tomography and Quantum Games

A technique is developed for single qubit quantum state tomography using the mathematical setup of generalized quantization scheme for *** this technique,Alice sends an unknown pure quantum state to Bob who appends it with|0><0|and then applies the unitary operators on the appended quantum state and finds the payoffs for Alice and *** is shown that for a particular set of unitary operators,these payoffs are equal to Stokes parameters for an unknown quantum *** this way an unknown quantum state can be measured and *** speaking,this technique is not a game as no strategic competitions are involved.

Evolutionarily Stable Strategies in Quantum Hawk-Dove Game

We quantize the Hawk-Dove game by using the most general form of a pure initial state to investigate the existence of pure and mixed evolutionarily stable strategies （ESS）. An example is considered to draw a comparison between the classical and quantum version of the game. Our choice of the most general initial quantum state enables us to make the game symmetric or asymmetric. We show that for a particular set of game parameters where there exists only mixed ESS in the classical version of the game, quantization allows even a pure strategy to be an ESS for the symmetric game in addition to mixed ESS. On the other hand only pure strategy ESS can exist for the asymmetric quantum version of the Hawk-Dove game.

An indicator model for assessing community resilience to the COVID-19 pandemic and its validation: A case study in Hong Kong

The COVID-19 outbreak had a significant negative impact on the world,and the fifth wave of COVID-19 in Hong Kong brought a considerable shock to Chinese *** is a growing call for more resilient ***,empirical evidence and validation of modeling studies of resilience indicators for urban community responses to the COVID-19 pandemic still need to be *** this study,a resilience assessment indicator model comprising 4 subsystems,7 indicators,and 12 variables was developed to assess the resilience of Hong Kong communities in response to COVID-19(i.e.,Resilience Index).Furthermore,this study utilized regression models such as geographically weighted regression(GWR)and multiscale GWR(MGWR)to validate the resilience model proposed in this study at the model and variable *** the regression model,the Resilience Index and the individual variables in the resilience model are explanatory variables,and the outcomes of the COVID-19 pandemic(confirmed cases,confirmation rate,discharged cases,discharge rate)are dependent *** results showed that:(i)the resilience of Hong Kong communities to the COvID-19 pandemic was not strong in general and showed some clustered spatial distribution characteristics;(i)the validation results at the model level showed that the Resilience Index did not explain the consequences of the COvID-19 pandemic to a high degree;(ii)the validation results at the variable level showed that the MGWR model was the best at identifying the relationships between explanatory variables and the dependent variable;and(iv)compared with the model-level assessment results,the variable-level assessment explained the consequences of the COvID-19 pandemic better than the model level assessment *** above analysis and the spatial distribution maps of the resilience variables can provide empirically based and targeted insights for policymakers.

Enhancing Dielectric and Mechanical Behaviors of Hybrid Polymer Nanocomposites Based on Polystyrene,Polyaniline and Carbon Nanotubes Coated with Polyaniline

The dielectric and mechanical properties of hybrid polymer nanocomposites of polystyrene/polyaniline/carbon nanotubes coated with polyaniline （pCNTs） have been investigated using impedance analyzer and extensometer. The blends of PS/PANI formed the heterogeneous phase separated morphology in which pCNTs are dispersed uniformly. The incorporation of a small amount of pCNTs into the blend of PS/PANI has remarkably increased the dielectric properties. Similarly, the AC conductivity of PS/PANI is also increased five orders of magnitude from 1.6 × 10^-10 to 2.0×10^-5 ***-1 in the hybrid nanocomposites. Such behavior of hybrid nanocomposites is owing to the interfacial polarization occurring due to the presence of multicomponent domains with varying conductivity character of the phases from insulative PS to poor conductor PANI to highly conductive CNTs. Meanwhile, the tensile modulus and tensile strength are also enhanced significantly up to 55% and 160%, respectively, without much loss of ductility for three phase hybrid nanocomposites as compared to the neat PS. Thereby, the hybrid nanocomposites of PS/PANI/pCNTs become stiffer, stronger and tougher as compared to the neat systems.

Transoral flexible laryngoscope biopsy:Safety and accuracy

Objective:To determine the accuracy of transoral flexible laryngoscope (TFL) biopsy and also to identify the safety as office based procedure in terms of ***:This is a diagnostic study;the type of intervention is outpatient department based biopsy of laryngeal *** patients seen in ENT outpatient department of Lyari General Hospital with suspicious lesions of Larynx were referred for Transoral Flexible Laryngoscopy Biopsy under local *** specimens were sent for *** patients with benign pathology or carcinoma in situ were referred for direct laryngoscopy and *** sensitivity and specificity were calculated and the frequencies of complications were monitored to determine the complication ***:During the course of study a total of 47 patients underwent TFL biopsy in office *** of these patients 16 patients were referred for direct laryngoscopy *** study population included 32 men and 15 women with ages ranging from 28 to 52 years and mean of (39 ± 6) *** 43 patients squamous cell carcinoma was the final diagnosis in 31 *** the rest of 12 patients' dysplasia and benign lesion was the diagnosis in 9 and 3 patients *** 12 patients underwent direct laryngoscopy biopsy and 10 of them diagnosed with invasive carcinoma rest had benign *** the specificity was 75.6% and sensitivity was 100%.None of the patients developed any serious ***:All patients with a suspicious lesion diagnosed by TFL biopsy as being benign or carcinoma in situ should have direct laryngoscopy for verification of the *** the results positive for carcinoma are *** addition,this is a safe procedure.

Construction of a Computational Scheme for the Fuzzy HIV/AIDS Epidemic Model with a Nonlinear Saturated Incidence Rate

This work aimed to construct an epidemic model with fuzzy *** the classical epidemic model doesnot elaborate on the successful interaction of susceptible and infective people,the constructed fuzzy epidemicmodel discusses the more detailed versions of the interactions between infective and susceptible ***-generation matrix approach is employed to find the reproduction number of a deterministic *** analysis and local stability analysis of the systemare also *** solving the fuzzy epidemic model,a numerical scheme is constructed which consists of three time *** numerical scheme has an advantage overthe existing forward Euler scheme for determining the conditions of getting the positive *** establishedscheme also has an advantage over existing non-standard finite difference methods in terms of order of *** stability of the scheme for the considered fuzzy model is also *** the plotted results,it can beobserved that susceptible people decay by rising interaction parameters.
