Camera-based object track.ng systems in a given closed environment lack.privacy and *** this study,light detection and ranging(LiDAR)was applied to track.objects similar to the camera track.ng in a closed environment,guaranteeing privacy and *** primary objective was to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed technique through carefully designed experiments conducted using two *** scenario I,the study illustrates the capability of the proposed technique to detect the locations of multiple objects positioned on a flat surface,achieved by analyzing LiDAR data collected from several locations within the closed *** II demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed technique in detecting multiple objects using LiDAR data obtained from a single,fixed ***-time experiments are conducted with human subjects navigating predefined *** individuals move within an environment,while LiDAR,fixed at the center,dynamically track. and identifies their locations at multiple *** demonstrate that a single,strategically positioned LiDAR can adeptly detect objects in motion around ***,this study provides a comparison of various regression techniques for predicting bounding box *** process regression(GPR),combined with particle swarm optimization(PsO)for prediction,achieves the lowest prediction mean square error of all the regression techniques examined at *** tuning of GPR using PsO significantly minimizes the regression *** of the experiment pave the way for its extension to various real-time applications such as crowd management in malls,surveillance systems,and various Internet of Things scenarios.

Breast cancer is a type of cancer responsible for higher mortality rates among women. The cruelty of breast cancer always requires a promising approach for its earlier detection. In light of this, the proposed research leverages the representation ability of pretrained EfficientNet-B0 model and the classification ability of the XGBoost model for the binary classification of breast tumors. In addition, the above transfer learning model is modified in such a way that it will focus more on tumor cells in the input mammogram. Accordingly, the work.proposed an EfficientNetB0 having a spatial Attention Layer with XGBoost (EsA-XGBNet) for binary classification of mammograms. For this, the work.is trained, tested, and validated using original and augmented mammogram images of three public datasets namely CBIs-DDsM, INbreast, and MIAs databases. Maximum classification accuracy of 97.585% (CBIs-DDsM), 98.255% (INbreast), and 98.91% (MIAs) is obtained using the proposed EsA-XGBNet architecture as compared with the existing models. Furthermore, the decision-mak.ng of the proposed EsA-XGBNet architecture is visualized and validated using the Attention Guided GradCAM-based Explainable AI technique. © 2024 The Authors.

Infrared Fault Detection Method for Dense Electrolytic Bath Polar Plate Based on YOLOv5s

Electrolysis tank. are used to smelt metals based on electrochemical principles, and the short-circuiting of the pole plates in the tank. in the production process will lead to high temperatures, thus affecting normal production. Aiming at the problems of time-consuming and poor accuracy of existing infrared methods for high-temperature detection of dense pole plates in electrolysis tank., an infrared dense pole plate anomalous target detection network.YOLOv5-RMF based on You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) is proposed. Firstly, we modified the Real-Time Enhanced super-Resolution Generative Adversarial Network.(Real-EsRGAN) by changing the U-shaped network.(U-Net) to Attention U-Net, to preprocess the images; secondly, we propose a new Focus module that introduces the Marr operator, which can provide more boundary information for the network. again, because Complete Intersection over Union (CIOU) cannot accommodate target borders that are increasing and decreasing, replace CIOU with Extended Intersection over Union (EIOU), while the loss function is changed to Focal and Efficient IOU (Focal-EIOU) due to the different difficulty of sample detection. On the homemade dataset, the precision of our method is 94%, the recall is 70.8%, and the map@.5 is 83.6%, which is an improvement of 1.3% in precision, 9.7% in recall, and 7% in map@.5 over the original network. The algorithm can meet the needs of electrolysis tank.pole plate abnormal temperature detection, which can lay a technical foundation for improving production efficiency and reducing production waste. A Recommender system(Rs)is a crucial part of several firms,particularly those involved in *** conventional Rs,a user may only offer a single rating for an item-that is insufficient to perceive consumer ***,businesses in industries lik. e-learning and tourism enable customers to rate a product using a variety of factors to comprehend customers’*** the other hand,the collaborative filtering(CF)algorithm utilizing AutoEncoder(AE)is seen to be effective in identifying user-interested ***,the cost of these computations increases nonlinearly as the number of items and users *** triumph over the issues,a novel expanded stack.d autoencoder(EsAE)with k.rnel Fuzzy C-Means Clustering(k.CM)technique is proposed with two *** the first phase of offline,the sparse multicriteria rating matrix is smoothened to a complete matrix by predicting the users’intact rating by the EsAE approach and users are clustered using the k.CM *** the next phase of online,the top-N recommendation prediction is made by the EsAE approach involving only the most similar user from multiple *** the EsAE_k.CM model upgrades the prediction accuracy of 98.2%in Top-N recommendation with a minimized recommendation generation *** experimental check.on the Yahoo!Movies(YM)movie dataset and TripAdvisor(TA)travel dataset confirmed that the EsAE_k.CM model constantly outperforms conventional Rs algorithms on a variety of assessment measures.

k.nF_(4):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)(Ln=Y,Yb,Gd)phosphors were prepared by solid-state reaction *** each of the Yb^(3+)/Er^(3+)and Yb^(3+)/Ho^(3+)co-doped phosphors independently,phase confirmation and morphological examination were accomplished using the X-ray diffraction technique and scanning electron microscope analysis.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis shows the charge state and existence of lanthanides and *** luminescence emissions of green and red colour were detected for the synthesized *** changes in the upconverted emission intensities and colour output pertaining to the change of the lanthanide host matrix along with dopants were investigated for the prepared *** the upconversion luminescence,erbium-doped samples exhibit a predominance of red emission while holmium-doped samples display a prevalence of green *** rare-earth Er/Ho doped k.bF4shows strong red emission compared to other ***_(4):Yb,Er/Ho exhibits relatively significant green upconve rsion emissions,while Yb,Er-doped k.dF_(4)host displays a 10-fold increase in green/red emission ratio with an increase in the input power of 20-780 *** photoluminescence studies and decay curve analysis were carried out using UV light excitation for the developed phosphors.A higher lifetime of 2.2 ms was measured for the downshifting red emission in the Ho doped k.bF_(4)*** study suggests a potential for colour tunability in the upconversion and downshifting emissions through host modifications to the fluoride phosphor.

Isolation of Microcrystalline Cellulose from Wood and Fabrication of Polylactic Acid (PLA) Based Green Biocomposites

An innovative microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) natural fibre powder-reinforced PLA biocomposite was investigated using the hand lay-up technique. The polymer matrix composite (PMC) samples were prepared by varying the weight percentages (wt.%) of both PLA matrix and MCC reinforcement: pure PLA/100:0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 and 50:50 wt.%, respectively. From the results obtained, MCC powder, with its impressive aspect ratio, proved to be an ideal reinforcement for the PLA, exhibiting exceptional mechanical properties. It was evident that the 80:20 wt.% biocomposite sample exhibited the maximum improvement in the tensile, flexural, notched impact, compressive strength and hardness by 28.85%, 20.00%, 91.66%, 21.53% and 35.82%, respectively compared to the pure PLA sample. similarly, during the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), the same 80:20 wt.% biocomposite sample showed a minimum weight loss of 20% at 400°C, among others. The morphological study using Field Emission scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-sEM) revealed that the uniform distribution of cellulose reinforcement in the PLA matrix actively improved the mechanical properties of the biocomposites, especially the optimal 80:20 wt.% sample. Importantly, it was evident that the optimal PLA/cellulose biocomposite sample could be a suitable and alternative sustainable, environmentally friendly and biodegradable material for semi/structural applications, replacing synthetic and traditional components. © 2024 The Authors.

Immunosuppression can lead to opportunistic infections in a *** evidence of viral infections causing immunosuppression in a host for a transient period is gaining *** order to prolong their stay in the human body,viruses affect the human immune systemin various *** viral infections such as influenza can lead to transient lymphocytopenia,which lays the groundwork.for more dangerous opportunistic ***(CMV)infection is a rare cause of inflammatory *** present the case of a patient with an influenza infection who progressed to severe acute respiratory distress syndrome,methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus necrotizing pneumonia,and idiopathic lymphocytopenia with a CD4 count of 61 perμL on *** 2 week.,the patient developed complete flaccid paralysis with sensory and autonomic *** his polymerase chain reaction results of cerebrospinal fluid and blood test were positive for CMV infection,he was treated with high doses of steroids and ganciclovir *** to early diagnosis and intervention,the patient was able to recover in 2 months with only minimal residual ***,this case stresses on the importance of looking out for opportunistic infections in patients affected by severe viral infections for their early recovery.
