Objective:We examined the association between body mass index(BMI)and body fat percentage(BF%)measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)among adults and children in ***:We searched four databases-PubMed,China national Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang,and Vip for studies published in the past 22 ***-analysis was conducted using random-or fixed-effect ***:In total of 21 studies met inclusion criteria and were included in review,and 17 ot them in *** were conducted across *** sample size ranged from 62 to 5726,and participants'age ranged from 6-80 ***-analysis revealed strong associations between BMI and BF% measured by DXA in adults(pooled r=0.71,95% CI:0.66 to 0.74)and children(pooled r=0.60,95% CI:0.52 to 0.68).The association was stronger in Northern China than in East China in children(β=-0.40,95%CI:-0.65 to-0.14)and in Central China in adults(β=-0.25;95% CI:-0.51 to-0.01).Urban children's BMI was strongly associated with BF%than rural(β=0.19;95%CI:0.04 to 0.35),whereas it was stronger in adults living in rural than in urban(β=-0.35;95% CI:-0.66 to-0.05).Conclusions:BMI was strongly associated with BF%measured by DXA,and the association in children and adults in China varied by residence and region.

Recently added to the therapeutic arsenal against chronic heart failure as a first intention drug,the antidiabetic drug-class sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors(SGLT2i)showed efficacy in decreasing overall mortality,hospitalization,and sudden death in patients of this very population,in whom chronic or acute ischemia count among the first ***,this benefit was observed independently from diabetic status,and benefited both preserved and altered ventricular ejection *** feature,observed in several large randomized controlled trials,suggests additional effects from SGLT2i beyond isolated glycemia ***,both in-vitro and animal models suggest that inhibiting the na+/H+exchanger(NHE)may be key to preventing ischemia/reperfusion injuries,and by extension may hold a similar role in ischemic damage control and ischemic ***,several other mechanisms may be explored which may help better target those who may benefit most from SGLT2i *** of a large therapeutic margin with few adverse events,ease of prescription and potential pharmacological efficacity,SGLT2i could be candidate for wider *** this review,we aim to summarize all evidence which link SGLT2i and ischemia/reperfusion injuries modulation,by first listing known mechanisms,including metabolic switch,prevention of lethal arrythmias and others,which portend the latter,and second,hypothesize how the former may interact with these mechanisms.

Evaluation of high yielding soybean germplasm under water limitation

Limited information is available for soybean root traits and their plasticity under drought stress. To date, no studies have focused on examining diverse soybean germ- plasm for regulation of shoot and root response under water limited conditions across varying soil types. In this study, 17 genetically diverse soybean germplasm lines were selected to study root response to water limited conditions in clay （trial 1） and sandy soil （trial 2） in two target environments. Physiological data on shoot traits was measured at multiple crop stages ranging from early vegetative to pod filling. The phenotypic root traits, and biomass accumulation data are collected at pod filling stage. In trial 1, the number of lateral roots and forks were positively correlated with plot yield under water limitation and in trial 2, lateral root thickness was positively correlated with the hill plot yield. Plant Introduction （PI） 578477A and 088444 were found to have higher later root number and forks in clay soil with higher yield under water limitation, in sandy soil, P1458o2o was found to have a thicker lateral root system and higher yield under water limitation. The genotypes identified in this study could be used to enhance drought tolerance of elite soybean cultivars through improved root traits specific to target environments.

The presence of microplastics in aquatic ecosystems is of increasing global ***-sized plastics,in particular,can penetrate the cell membrane and cause biological *** study evaluated the combined impacts of several polystyrene mi-crospheres’sizes and nominal concentrations on the overall performance changes of Brachionus *** animals were exposed to three microplastic sizes(0.08,0.5 and 6μm)and five nominal concentrations(0,0.5,2,8,32μg mL−1)for 20 *** results showed that the toxicological effect of particle size on rotifers did not significantly depend on the nominal *** interaction between the nominal concentration and size occurred only for body length and lorica ***,high nominal concentrations of microplastics that were close to nanometer size significantly impaired the overall vitality of rotifers,embodied in shortage of body type,delay in the arrival of maturity,reduction in the cumulative number of neonates,and the advance of the death *** comparison,fair-sized size(0.5 and 6μm)displayed non-significant damage except for individual *** notably,the net reproductive yield was only a third of what it was in the original environment,implying that there was not much fertility ***,with the development of rotifers,the adverse effects of polystyrene microsphere drive had become more and more serious.

目的:研究非糖尿病心力衰竭(Heart Failure,HF)患者应用达格列净治疗后血浆中血浆肾素浓度(Plasma renin concentration,PRC)、血浆血管紧张素Ⅱ(angiotensinⅡ,ANG-II)、血浆醛固酮(Aldosterone,ALD)的浓度水平变化情况,探讨达格列净对不伴糖尿病心力衰竭患者RAAS系统影响。方法:选取2021年7月至2022年10月于大理大学第一附属医院心内科收治102例非糖尿病心力衰竭患者为研究对象,44名常规治疗的患者纳入对照组,58名在常规治疗基础上口服达格列净的患者纳入实验组。记录患者一般情况,并分别在服药前及服药后第7天测定患者一般实验室指标(血尿酸、血糖、肌酐、总胆固醇、甘油三酯、血钾、血钠、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇)、BNP值、RAAS系统(PRC、ANG-II、ALD)、左室射血分数(LVEF)、心功能等级。记录两组患者基础资料以及治疗期间心衰症状、心肾功能及RAAS系统相关指标的变化情况并进行对比。结果:1.实验组患者NYHA心功能分级I级从1例(1.72%)经治疗后升到12例(20.68%);心功能II级从5例(8.62%)上升至45例(77.59%);心功能III级从40例(68.89%)降低0例(0.00%),心功能IV级从12例(20.68%)降到1例(1.72%),治疗前后心功能分级分布差异有统计学差异(Pna无显著变化(P>0.05)。治疗前后实验组患者均进行生命体征、Glu、TC、TG、Cr、UA,K、na复查未出现明显异常,未发生不良反应事件,说明达格列净治疗于心衰是安全的。3.治疗后实验组BNP值为(434.55±418.40)pg/ml,对照组为(619.33±453.37)pg/ml,实验组低于对照组,组间差异具有统计学意义(P0.05);经治疗,实验组患者的PRC值显著下降至(11.58±4.77)pg/ml,差异具有统计学意义(P0.05);经治疗,实验组患者的ALD值显著下降至(65.47±12.01)pg/ml,差异具有统计学意义(P0.05)。比较两组患者治疗前后差值,实验组ALD(pg/ml)(19.05±20.16),与对照组(2.29±16.07)结果显示,实验组显著高于对照组具有统计学意义(P0.05);经治疗,实验组与对照组均显著下降,治疗前后差异均具有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:1.达格列净可显著降低不伴糖尿病心力衰竭患者心功能分级和BNP值,且安全性佳。2.达格列净可显著降PRC、Ang-II、ALD浓度水平,且治疗效果不受性别和其他药物的影响。提示达格列净可能具有抑制RASS系统的作用。

Gd2O3:Er^3+nanophosphors were fabricated by the combustion method in presence of na2 ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid(EDTA-na2)as fuel at not high temperature(≤350℃)within a very short time of 5 *** added concentration of Er^3+ions in Gd2O3 matrix was changed from 0.5 mol%to 5.0 mol%.The X-ray diffraction pattern of samples indicates the monoclinic structure of Gd2O3:Er^3+.The morphology and chemical composition analysis of the Gd2O3:Er^3+samples are characterized by a field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM)and a Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR).The photoluminescence(PL),photo luminescence excitation(PLE)and upconversion(UC)at room temperature of the prepared materials with different concentrations of Er^3+were *** PL of Gd2O3:Er^3+nanomaterials are shown in visible at 545,594,623,648,688 nm under excitation at 275 *** emission bands from transitions of Er^3+from 2P3/2 to 4F9/2 are observed,UC luminescent spectra of the Gd2O3:Er^3+/silica nanocomposites under 976 nm excitation show the bands at 548 and 670 *** influence of excitation power at 980 nm for transitions were measured and *** results indicate that the upconversion process of Gd2O3:Er^3+/silica is two photons absorption *** low temperature dependence of UC luminescent intensities of the main bands of Gd2O3:Er^3+was investigated towards development of a nanotemperature sensor in the range of 10-300 K.

Sintered lead-free Bi_(0.5)(na_(0.8)K_(0.2)T_(0.5)(Ti0:96Sn0:04TO_(3)ceramics(BNKTS)have been fabricated via a solid-state *** effect of sintering temperature on the structural,morphological,dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties of BNKTS ceramics was investigated,and it was found that the electrical properties of the synthesized ceramics increased with the increase in the sintering temperature,and the highest values were achieved at 1100℃.The ceramics sintered at the optimized temperature of 1100℃exhibited the best physical,dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties,namely,high density(the relative density,ρ=5:88 ***^(-3),approximate to 96.7%of the theoretical value),high densification factor(DF=0:93),high dielectric constant(ε_(r)=1215),low dielectric loss(tanδ=0:051),highest dielectric constant(ε_(max)=4335),high remanent polarization(Pr=9:5μ***^(-2),high coercive field(E_(c)=14:3 kV/cm),high energy storage density(0.12 J/cm^(3),and high energy storage efficiency(41.7%at 46.3 kV/cm).

The crosslinked gelatin/chitosan/poly(vinyl alcohol)/hydroxyapatite(GEL/CTS/PVA/HAp, GCPH) sponges were fabricated by a freeze-drying method to yield the reinforced composite sponges with proper features. The porosity value and pore size of the crosslinked GCPH sponges reached ～80% and 50–100 μm, respectively, which can be an appropriate range to allow cells to migrate into the reinforced composite sponges in the tissue engineering technology. Besides, the proper bonding presence between HAp particles and the crosslinked polymeric matrix or the crosslinked network formation between the polymers were also proved through fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and thermal gravimetric(TG/DTG) analysis. Owing to incorporation of HAp particles and good distribution of HAp particles inside the crosslinked polymeric matrix, their mechanical properties were improved through the determination of compression tests. Concomitantly, their water absorption ability reached effectively in both the distilled water and na Cl solution, and their recovery also maintained well for 10 absorbing–squeezing cycles to be considered as an effective reusability for the crosslinked sponge ***, the crosslinked GCPH sponge prepared in the present study can become a potential candidate to apply especially in the biomedical/medical applications and tissue engineering technology.

BACKGROUND Early diagnosis is critical for successful intervention before liver disease progresses to cirrhosis and hepatocellular *** To examine a novel biomarker for probing early liver disease quickly using an automated immunology *** This was a cross-sectional study.140 patients at various stages of liver disease were randomly *** cohort consisted of patients who were treatment naïve and currently undergoing *** included patients with diverse liver disease ***-2 binding protein glycosylation isomer(M2BPGi)levels in addition to different clinical parameters,co-morbidities and transient elastography results were collected and *** M2BPGi levels were significantly correlated with transient elastography for liver fibrosis staging across all disease *** significant differences were observed in patients with F0-1;F2 and>F3 liver *** examination showed that M2BPGi levels were two-fold higher in F4 than F3 hepatitis C(HCV)patients.M2BPGi was observed to be etiology-specific and HCV patients had higher mean M2BPGi *** also observed significant correlations with aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index and fibrosis-4 index as well as HBV Dna *** M2BPGi levels for HBV patients with a viral load lower than 2000 IU/mL was 1.75-fold lower than those with a viral load greater than 2000 IU/*** M2BPGi was observed to be a good indicator of early liver disease in patients with different *** results provide reference cut-offs for different causes of liver disease and demonstrated the utility of this marker for early disease *** is useful for remote regions in developing countries.
