Electrical machines are precarious mechanisms in manufacturing practices. A motor failure may yield an unexpected interruption at the industrial plant, with consequences in costs, product quality, and security. To govern the conditions of each part of motor, various testing and monitoring methods have been developed. in this paper, a review on effective fault indicators and vibration based condition monitoring approaches of rotating electrical machines has been accomplished. The determination of the review is to progress the understanding of vibration based analysis, and its use in the Machine Health Monitoring. A variety of analysis was identified to highlight the concept of predictive maintenance in industries. The techniques of vibration analysis were investigated to detect both healthy and fault related signals of rotating machineries.

Carbonate reservoir characterization and estimation of fluid saturation seem more challenging in the low resistivity pay zone (LRPZ). The Lower Cretaceous Buwaib Formation is important reservoir in the Persian Gulf. The formation in the Salman Field is divided into three reservoir zones and four barriers and tight zones. These reservoir zones show low resistivity characteristics, high fluid saturation, but good oil production. in some intervals resistivity responses reach less than 1 ohm•m. Petrophysical properties measured from laboratory and logging tools have been combined with thin section X-ray diffraction (XRD) and PNN (Pulse Neutron Neutron). Geological studies define presence of 8 facies from wackeston to packstone. in general, reservoir potential of the Buwaib Formation is under influenced by the development of lithocodium mound facies that along with moderate to high porosity intervals. Micritization and pyritization of digenetic process along with clay-coated grains, carbonate with interstitial dispersed clay have conspicuous impact on LRPZ. Based on XRD analysis, Montmorillonite and Kaolinite of main clays types have high CEC and greater impact on lowering resistivity. To describe pore systems of rocks, the Lønøy method applied to address pore throat sizes which contain mudstone micro porosity related to lithocodium mound facies and uniform interparticle at class 3 Lucia as pore size varies from 0.2 to 10 micron. Some constraints were defined to estimate reliable water saturation that checked by sigma logs. Water saturation is 42%, 34% and 40% respectively in BL1, BL2 and BL3 zones.

This comment corrects the small errors in the Letter of Baysal and Yilmaz [Chin. Phys. Lett. 24 （2007） 2185], where the case of n = 1 was ignored. Meanwhile, the discussion in this comment on the case of n = -3 is novel, which shows a potential reason why today the effect of the extra dimension has not been observed.

Mastitis is a common inflammatory cow mammary infection;that causes significant economic loss in dairy *** the interesting connection between metformin’s anti-inflammatory function and mastitis model induced by LTA in pbMECs,our objective was to prove that metformin was beneficial in suppressing proinflammatory response induced by LTA through modulation of mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)and nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathways and activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ(PPARγ)in *** proliferation of cells and mRNA expression were measured using EdU assay and quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).immunoblotting and immunofluorescence analysis were conducted to evaluate the expression of target proteins in inflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses to metformin and ***,pbMECs were allowed to treat with the PPAR antagonist GW9662,and inflammatory markers were detected in the *** results showed that LTA concentration at 100μg/mL significantly stimulated the MAPK14,iL-6 and iL-1βmRNA expressions compared to the control cells(Pin dose-dependent tests for *** suppressed the phosphorylation expressions of MAPK(ERK1/2,p38,and JNK)in LTA-stimulated *** also reduced the protein expression of NF-κB,interleukin-8(iL-8),interleukin-1β(iL-1β)and interleukin-6(iL-6)in pbMECs pretreated with *** administration activated PPARγphosphorylation by up-regulating the expression of PPARγin LTA-stimulated *** with GW9662 resulted in increased iL-6 expression,which was reversed by *** findings collectively indicated that metformin act to attenuate LTA-stimulated inflammatory response in pbMECs by suppressing MAPK and NF-κB activation via a mechanism partially dependent on PPARγ*** results suggested that metformin could function as an anti-inflammatory drug in the treatment of mastitis.

Tumor cell proliferation, infiltration, migration, and neovascularization are known causes of treatment resistance in glioblastoma multiforme(GBM). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of radiation on the growth characteristics of primary human GBM developed in a nude rat. Primary GBM cells grown from explanted GBM tissues were implanted orthotopically in nude rats. Tumor growth was confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging on day 77(baseline) after implantation. The rats underwent irradiation to a dose of 50 Gy delivered subcuratively on day 84 postimplantation(n = 8), or underwent no radiation(n = 8). Brain tissues were obtained on day 112(nonirradiated) or day 133(irradiated). immunohistochemistry was performed to determine tumor cell proliferation(Ki-67) and to assess the expression of infiltration marker(matrix metalloproteinase-2, MMP-2) and cell migration marker(CD44). Tumor neovascularization was assessed by microvessel density using von-Willebrand factor(vWF) staining. Magnetic resonance imaging showed well-developed, infiltrative tumors in 11 weeks postimplantation. The proportion of Ki-67-positive cells in tumors undergoing radiation was(71 ± 15)% compared with(25 ± 12)% in the nonirradiated group(P = 0.02). The number of MMP-2-positive areas and proportion of CD44-positive cells were also high in tumors receiving radiation, indicating great invasion and infiltration. Microvessel density analysis did not show a significant difference between nonirradiated and irradiated tumors. Taken together, we found that subcurative radiation significantly increased proliferation, invasion, and migration of primary GBM. Our study provides insights into possible mechanisms of treatment resistance following radiation therapy for GBM.

The formulae are established in position,momentum,and four-dimensional spaces for the one-range addition theorems of generalized integer and noninteger μ Coulomb,and exponential type correlated interaction potentials with hyperbolic cosine（GCTCP and GETCP HC）.These formulae are expressed in terms of one-range addition theorems of complete orthonormal sets of Ψα-exponential type orbitals（Ψ α-ETO）,α-momentum space orbitals（α-MSO）,and zα-hyperspherical harmonics（zα-HSH） *** one-range addition theorems obtained can be useful in the electronic structure calculations of atoms and molecules when the GCTCP and GETCP HC in position,momentum,and four-dimensional spaces are employed.

The thermal stress in a magnetic core–shell nanoparticle during a thermal process is an important parameter to be known and controlled in the magnetization process of the core–shell system. in this paper we analyze the stress that appears in a core–shell nanoparticle subjected to a cooling process. The external surface temperature of the system, considered in equilibrium at room temperature, is instantly reduced to a target temperature. The thermal evolution of the system in time and the induced stress are studied using an analytical model based on a time-dependent heat conduction equation and a differential displacement equation in the formalism of elastic displacements. The source of internal stress is the difference in contraction between core and shell materials due to the temperature change. The thermal stress decreases in time and is minimized when the system reaches the thermal equilibrium. The radial and azimuthal stress components depend on system geometry, material properties, and initial and final temperatures. The magnitude of the stress changes the magnetic state of the core–shell system. For some materials, the values of the thermal stresses are larger than their specific elastic limits and the materials begin to deform plastically in the cooling process. The presence of the induced anisotropy due to the plastic deformation modifies the magnetic domain structure and the magnetic behavior of the system.
