This study is concerned with the three-dimensional(3D)stagna.ion-point for the mixed convection flow past a vertical surface considering the first-order and secondorder velocity *** the authors’knowledge,this is the first study presenting this very interesting *** partial differential equa.ions for the flow problem are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equa.ions(ODEs)by using appropriate simila.ity *** ODEs with the corresponding boundary conditions are numerically solved by utilizing the bvp4c solver in MATLAB programming *** effects of the governing parameters on the non-dimensional velocity profiles,temperature profiles,skin friction coefficients,and the local Nusselt number are presented in detail through a series of graphs and ***,it is reported that the reduced skin friction coefficient decreases for the assisting flow situa.ion and increases for the opposing flow *** numerical computa.ions of the present work are compared with those from other research available in specific situa.ions,and an excellent consensus is *** exciting feature for this work is the existence of dual *** important remark is that the dual solutions exist for both assisting and opposing flows.A linear sta.ility analysis is performed showing that one solution is stable and the other solution is not *** notice that the mixed convection and velocity slip parameters have strong effects on the flow *** effects are depicted in graphs and discussed in this *** obtained results show that the first-order and second-order slip parameters have a considerable effect on the flow,as well as on the heat transfer characteristics.

To gain better insight into the influence of the a.ion size and symmetry on the transport properties and thermal sta.ility of an electrolyte based on lithium(fluorosulfonyl)(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)-imide(FTFSi)salt,we performed the physical and electrochemical characteriza.ion of an electrolyte based on FTFSi incorpora.ed in standard binary(3 EC/7 EMC)and ternary(EC/PC/3 DMC)alkylcarbonate *** applying the Jones-Dole-Ka.insky(JDK),Eyring and Arrhenius empirical models to the electrolyte viscosity we show that the activa.ion enthalpy and entropy energy barriers(ΔH≠,ΔS≠)for viscous flow are between 12 and 15 kJ·mol^(-1).They are strongly dependent on the solvent nature and are significantly lower than their symmetric a.ions LiFSi and LiTFSi(19-20 kJ·mol^(-1))in the binary ***,the hydrodyna.ic ra.ius,rs,calculated by JDK,and the ionicity beha.ior illustrated by the Walden role,showed that the FTFSi a.ion is outside the solva.ion sphere(rs>0.6 nm)which is smaller in the case of an EC/EMC solvent *** the 3 EC/7 EMC solvent mixture,LiFTFSi is less conductive than in the ternary mixture i.e.,σ_(max)=8.9 mS cm^(-1) at C_(max)=1.1 mol L^(-1) for 3 EC/7 EMC and,σ_(max)=10.5 mS cm^(-1) at max=0.7 mol L^(-1) for EC/PC/3 DMC,due to a strong solva.ion and a greater associa.ion of FTFSi ions in the binary solvent *** thermal sta.ility of FTFSi based electrolytes was determined by the shift of the evapora.ion temperature of the vola.ile solvents(DMC,EMC)in the presence of salt,towards the higher *** feature is visible on the thermograms obtained by DSC both with the liquid electrolyte and with charged LMO cathodes in presence of *** consequences of these properties on the electrochemical beha.ior of a graphite(Gr)half-cell,a lithium metal(Li)anode and a manganese lithium oxide(LMO)cathode demonstrated on the one hand the forma.ion of a thick solid electrolyte interphase(SEi)on graphite that consumed a significant amou

A procedure of Ni, Cr, Mn, Co, and Mo (Me) transfer onto iron substrate in ionic-electronic melts LiCl-Li, caCl2-ca, and BaCl2-Ba was elabora.ed and the transport processes were studied. The saturated vapor pressure of these ionic-electronic melts is as low as enabled working at atmosphere pressure in an inert media up to 1000 ℃.Armco iron was used as a substrate because it practically does not interact with lithium, calcium, and ba.ium. The metals-diffusants were put into the melts in the form of a powder. The complete satura.ion of the melts with lithium, calcium, and ba.ium was ensured by a preceding contact of a molten salt with an excess of Li, ca, or Ba before loa.ing of *** reactions take place despite the metals and iron were separated from each other by the molten salt. The quantity of the metals transfered was determined by the change in mass before and after experiments, by microprobe analysis, and x-ra.ing of the iron surface layer. The experiments were ca.ried out at 900, 950 and 1000℃ during 5, 10, 15 and 20 *** the first stage of the process the forma.ion of the ionic-electronic melt occurs. For example, dissolution of calcium in the case of the system caCl2-Ca.is mainly proceeded in the form of one-valent ca.ions: ca + ca2+()ca+. As soon as the metal-diffusance is immersed into the melt, its dissolution in the form of nega.ive ions takes place: Me + ca+() Me-+ ca2+. in the vicinity of the iron substrate the last equilibrium will shift to the left genera.ing a solid solution or intermetallide. The thickness of the diffusion layer rises as the temperature and satura.ion time increase. The obtained coverings were 20-60 (m thick,and their surface layer contained 15%-80% (mass fraction) of the *** the composition of the melt and the procedure of the coverings prepara.ion in ionic-electronic melts have been patented (Patent RU2058422, 1996, pr. 30.09.93).
