Medical image fusion is considered the best method for obtaining one image with rich details for efficient medical diagnosis and *** learning provides a high performance for several medical image analysis *** paper proposes a deep learning model for the medical image fusion *** model depends on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN).The basic idea of the proposed model is to extract features from both CT and MR ***,an additional process is executed on the extracted *** that,the fused feature map is reconstructed to obtain the resulting fused ***,the quality of the resulting fused image is enhanced by various enhancement techniques such as Histogram Matching(HM),Histogram Equalization(HE),fuzzy technique,fuzzy type,and Contrast Limited Histogram Equalization(CLAHE).The performance of the proposed fusion-based CNN model is measured by various metrics of the fusion and enhancement *** realistic datasets of different modalities and diseases are tested and ***,real datasets are tested in the simulation analysis.

Two spectrophotometric methods for simultaneous determination of some antihyperlipidemic drugs

Two simple, accurate, precise and economic spectrophotometric methods have been developed for simultaneous determination of Atorvastatin calcium (ATR) and Ezetimibe (EZ) in their bulk powder and pharmaceutical dosage form. Method (I) is based on dual wa.elength analysis while method (II) is the mean centering of ratio spectra spectrophotometric (MCR) method. In method (I), two wa.elengths were selected for each drug in such a way that the difference in absorbance was zero for the second drug. At wa.elengths 226.6 and 244 nm EZ had equal absorbance values; therefore, these two wa.elengths have been used to determine ATR; on a similar basis 228.6 and 262.8 nm were selected to determine EZ in their binary mixtures. In method II, the absorption spectra of both ATR and EZ with different concentrations were recorded over the range 200-350, divided by the spectrum of suitable divisor of both ATR and EZ and then the obtained ratio spectra were mean centered. The concentrations of active components were then determined from the calibration graphs obtained by measuring the amplitudes at 215-260 nm (peak to peak) for both ATR and EZ. Accuracy and precision of the developed methods have been tested; in addition recovery studies have been carried out in order to confirm their accuracy. On the other hand, selectivities of the methods were tested by application for determination of different synthetic mixtures containing different ratios of the studied drugs. The developed methods have been successfully used for determination of ATR and EZ in their combined dosage form and statistical comparison of the developed methods with the reported spectrophotometric one using F and Student’s t-tests showed no significant difference regarding both accuracy and precision.

The magnetic properties of spinel ferrites Cu_（1-x）Zn_xFe_2O_4 are studied using high-temperature series expansions combined with the Padé approximates. The exchange interactions, inter and intra-sublattices J_（AA）, J_（BB） and J_（AB） are obtained using a probability distribution law. The critical exponent associated with the magnetic susceptibility is obtained.

Helicobacter pylori infection has been significantly linked to Peptic Ulcer Disease and Gastric *** fingerprinting may offer a principal way of early diagnosis and to understand the molecular mechanism of ***-induced *** rationale of the study is to explore the underlying distinct metabolic mechanisms of ***-induced PUD and to identify potential biomarkers for disease diagnosis and associated risks using Gas chromatography/mass ***/MS-based analytical method was used to compare metabolic profiles of healthy controls(N=20)and peptic ulcer patients(N=45).Acquired metabolomic data were analyzed by constructing a diagnostic model using principal component analysis and a non-parametric two-tailed paired Wilcoxon analysis to identify disease-specific metabolic biomarkers.A total of 75 low-molecular-weight endogenous metabolites were detected during comparative metabolomic analysis of PUD *** gut tissues,among which 16 metabolites are being proposed to be diagnostic markers of Human *** related to amino acids,carbohydrates,fatty acids,organic acids,and sterol metabolism were significantly revealed during this differential metabolomic *** convincingly suggest that metabolic profiles can contribute immensely in early diagnosis of the disease and understanding molecular mechanisms of disease progression for predicting novel drug targets for prophylactic and anaphylactic measures.

Motor behavior represents the overt expression of the processing in the brain.A salient feature of motor behavior is the orderly recruitment of motor pools and the coordination of their activity to produce movement with precise force,speed and *** spinal networks generate the basic locomotor pattern and also act as a processing interface to adjust their output in response to influences from the brain and sensory *** natural variability in the speed of locomotion requires an orderly recruitment of motoneurons from those innervating slow to those innervating fast muscle *** research aims at understanding the rule governing the recruitment of essential neuronal elements in the locomotor *** far,our analysis has focused on the output stage by describing the mechanisms dictating the threshold of recruitment of motoneurons and a class of excitatory interneurons during swimming in adult *** results show that motoneurons are organized in four pools with specific topographic locations and are incrementally recruited to produce swimming at different *** recruitment threshold is set by a combination of specific intrinsic properties of motoneurons and the strength of their synaptic currents,but does not rely on their input *** contrast to motoneurons,no topographic organization was apparent for the recruitment of excitatory interneurons at different swimming *** findings indicate that the locomotor networks are composed of ensembles of microcircuits that are recruited sequentially to cover the full range of swimming frequencies.

Effect of Molybdate Ions on the Corrosion Behaviour of Ti Alloys

Titanium alloys are extensively used in power, chemical and petroleum industries as constructional materials for vessels and heat transfer tubes. Moreover they are candidate materials for nuclear waste disposal. These alloys have superior resistance to localized forms of corrosion compared to stainless steels and Ni-base alloys. However, this resistance is not as remarkable in crevice corrosion conditions in some aggressive media. electrochemical corrosion tests were conducted on two ASTM Ti grades na.ely, Ti-2 and Ti-12 in extremely low pH acidic environment. Results indicated that Ti-2 has less resistance to both general and crevice corrosion attack than Ti-12. Both alloys possess better resistance to general corrosion than to crevice corrosion. Also, results showed that the molybdate addition improves remarkably the resistance of Ti-2 to both types of attack. The increase of molybdate ions concentration from 0.03 mol/L to 0.15 mol/L made Ti-2 to be as resistant as, or somewhat higher than, Ti-12. The elecrochemical findings were further supplemented by optical examination of the corroded surface.

There are many large scale pumping stations in Egypt operating under different conditions and serving irrigation and drainage operation. These pumping stations are subjected to mechanical and hydraulic problems generating dynamic loads, vibrations, and stresses affecting the structure. Safe working of these stations verifies the operation function and efficient water management and distribution. Failure and damage occur for these pumping stations lead to maintenance problems, environmental problems, and water management problems, or they can lead to raising of the water levels which may cause failure to the embankment of the canals and drains. This research was performed to estimate the effect vibrations of typical axial pumping station exposed to motor vibration. This effect should be considered in the design process or in the assessment of such structures. Dynamic tests were done using the ambient vibration technique during the operation of the motors. Eight accelerometers were used to measure the vibrations of the building. Finite element numerical model was developed for the building. Three concrete core specimens were taken from the structural elements of the building and exposed to compression tests to adjust the properties of concrete in the FE model. The natural frequencies were evaluated using the power spectra method for the measured data, and modal analysis for the numerical model. The numerical model was subjected to the real recorded signals（displacement response）. The increase in the stress due to the vibrations was calculated and compared to the designed stress capacity of the structure specified by the Egyptian code for loads. Also, the upper limits of vibrations of the building were compared to the available standards. The analysis of the collected data as well as the comparison between the experimental results and the analytical results are presented.

The complexation of solid urea with(Co^(2+)),(Cu^(2+))or(Ni^(2+))ions has been studied by using dielectric spectroscopy technique over a wide frequency range at different temper ***'structure were investigated by XRD,FTIR and FT-Raman *** and Raman analy sis indicated that the urea coordinates with the metal atoms through the same oxygen-metal bond(O-M).Furthermore,XRD analysis showed that the samples have polycrystalline structure with single *** pemittivity of complexes was found at much higher values than that of the ligand(pure urea),showing structure ***,two relaxation peaks were observed in the dielectric loss spectra corresponding to the orientation po larization of urea molecule,and some parts of urea molecule may be NH2 *** relaxation peaks correspond to thermally activated because they were shifted to higher frequency with the temperature *** peak position for the low frequency relaxation peak was observed lht the same relaxation time(τ=7.6× 10^(-4) s),corresponding to the coordination mode through the same O-M *** of this work is the successful finding of the relationship between the crystalline phase,coordination mode and the dy namic molecular behavior of solid urea and its complexes using the dielectric spec-troscopy techn ique.
