The involvement of the excitatory amino acids glutamate and aspartate in ce rebral ischemia and excitotoxicity is ***,the role of non-excitatory amino acids in brain damage following a stroke or brain trauma remains largely *** release of amino acids by necrotic cells in the ischemic core may contribute to the expansion of the *** findings indicated that the reversible loss of field excitato ry postsynaptic potentials caused by transient hypoxia became irreversible when exposed to a mixture of just four non-excitatory amino acids(L-alanine,glycine,L-glutamine,and L-serine)at their plasma *** amino acids induce swelling in the somas of neurons and astrocytes during hypoxia,along with permanent dendritic damage mediated by N-methyl-d-aspartate *** N-methyl-d-aspartate receptors prevented neuronal damage in the presence of these amino acids during *** is likely that astroglial swelling caused by the accumulation of these amino acids via the alanine-serine-cysteine transporter 2 exchanger and system N transporters activates volume-regulated anion channels,leading to the release of excitotoxins and subsequent neuronal damage through N-methyl-d-aspartate receptor ***,previously unrecognized mechanisms involving non-excitatory amino acids may contribute to the progression and expansion of brain injury in neurological emergencies such as stroke and traumatic brain *** these pathways co uld highlight new therapeutic targets to mitigate brain injury.

Acceptability of Kangaroo mother Care (KmC) by mothers with Low-Birth-Weight Babies at Arthur davison Children’s Hospital, in Ndola, Zambia

Background: Kangaroo mother Care is a simple safe method used to care for low-birth-weight babies. Low-birth-weight is a global public health issue that pose significant challenge to perinatal care systems. Globally, complications due to low-birth-weight are the leading cause of neonatal mortality, resulting in an estimated 1 million deaths annually. Kangaroo mother Care (KmC) is a low-cost method of care for low-birth-weight infants in areas with inadequate incubators and power outages with positive outcomes. Objectives: To assess factors influencing acceptability of Kangaroo mother Care (KmC) in NICU at Arthur davison Children’s Hospital in Ndola, Zambia. methodology: A cross sectional quantitative analytical study design was used. The study was conducted at Arthur davison Children’s Hospital (AdCH) in Ndola, Zambia. The purposive sampling method was used to select the study participants and a total of 129 mothers with Low Weight Babies A were selected to participate structured closed ended questionnaire was used to collect data from the participants using an interview. data was analyzed using a statistical Package for social scientists (sPss) software version 26. Cross tabulations were done to determine association of variables using a Chi square (xsup>2sup>) test at 95% confidence interval and were assumptions where not met, fishers exact test was used. multivariate binary logistic regression analysis was used to quantify the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. Results: most of the respondents had male babies 77%, 69% of the babies weighed 1000 g - 1400 g, majority 79% had normal delivery, 71% of the respondents were multigravida and most of the respondents 79% were married. The study reviewed that 85% of those who attained secondary education accepted KmC, 74% of the respondents without monthly income accepted KmC, 80% of the respondents had positive attitude and accepted KmC. 82% of the respondents who had positive perception accep

Background:There is mounting evidence that regular physical activity is an important prerequisite for healthy cognitive ***,the finding that almost one-third of the adult population does not reach the recommended level of regular physical activity calls for further public health *** this context,digital and home-based physical training interventions might be a promising alternative to center-based intervention ***,this systematic review a.m.d to summarize the current state of the literature on the effects of digital and home-based physical training interventions on adult cognitive ***:In this pre-registered systematic review(PROsPERO;Id:CRd42022320031),5 electronic databases(Pubmed,Web of science,Psyclnfo,sPORTdiscus,and Cochrane Library)were searched by 2 independent researchers(FH and PT)to identify eligible studies investigating the effects of digital and home-based physical training interventions on cognitive performance in *** systematic literature search yielded 8258 records(extra17 records from other sources),of which 27 controlled trials were considered *** reviewers(FH and PT)independently extracted data and assessed the risk of bias using a.m.dified version of the Tool for the assEssment of study qualiTy and reporting in EXercise(TEsTEX scale).Results:Of the 27 reviewed studies,15 reported positive effects on cognitive and motor-cognitive outcomes(i.e.,performance improvements in measures of executive functions,working memory,and choice stepping reaction test),and a considerable heterogeneity concerning study-related,population-related,and intervention-related characteristics was noticed.A more detailed analysis suggests that,in particular,interventions using online classes and technology-based exercise devices(i.e.,step-based exergames)can improve cognitive performance in healthy older *** one-half of the reviewed studies were rated as having a high risk of bias with respect

FmHAdP: design of an Efficient Pre-Forensic Layer for mitigating Hybrid Attacks via deep Learning Pattern Analysis

Network attack detection and mitigation require packet collection， pre-processing， feature analysis， classification， and post-processing. models for these tasks sometimes become complex or inefficient when applied to real-time da.a.samples. To mitigate hybrid assaults， this study designs an efficient forensic layer employing deep learning pattern analysis and multidomain feature extraction. In this paper， we provide a novel multidomain feature extraction method using Fourier， Z， Laplace， discrete Cosine Transform (dCT)， 1d Haar Wavelet， Gabor， and Convolutional Operations. Evolutionary method dragon fly optimisation reduces feature dimensionality and improves feature selection accuracy. The selected features are fed into VGGNet and GoogLeNet models using binary cascaded neural networks to analyse network traffic patterns， detect anomalies， and warn network administrators. The suggested model tackles the inadequacies of existing approaches to hybrid threats， which are growing more common and challenge conventional security measures. Our model integrates multidomain feature extraction， deep learning pattern analysis， and the forensic layer to improve intrusion detection and prevention systems. In diverse attack scenarios， our technique has 3.5% higher accuracy， 4.3% higher precision， 8.5% higher recall， and 2.9% lower delay than previous models.
