METHODOLOGY: a.tota. of 120 women who met the selection criteria.scheduled for ca.sa.ea. section under sp.na. a.a.sthesia.with bup.va.a.ne were ra.domized into two equa. group. to receive either 75 mg diclofena. sup.ository 12 hourly for 24 hours or one a.usol sup.ository (the p.a.ebo) 12 hourly for 24 hours. We used the inclusion a.d exclusion criteria.(p.iSMa. to sea.ch both French a.d English a.ticles on clima.e cha.ge-rela.ed disa.ter risk events in Togo through Google Schola., Directory of Op.n a.cess Journa.s (DOa.), a.d p.bMed da.a.a.es using the keywords “Clima.e Cha.ge”, “Floods”, “Drought”, “Coa.ta. erosion”, “High winds”, “Ep.demy”, Hea.wa.es”, a.d “a.r p.llution”. Twenty-five a.ticles from 2000-2023 were included in this study a.ter a.p.ying different criteria. Droughts, floods, coa.ta. erosion, food a.d crop.p.oductivity loss, hea.wa.es, sp.ea. of vector-borne disea.es, a.r p.llution, a.d high winds a.e a.ong the clima.e p.enomena.discussed. These cha.lenges a.e driven by clima.e cha.ge, a.tering p.ecip.ta.ion p.0}terns, increa.ing temp.ra.ures, a.d rising sea.levels. Drought, floods, coa.ta. erosion, loss of food a.d crop.p.oductivity, sp.ea. of vector-borne disea.es, a.r p.llution a.d hea.wa.es a.e the most clima.e risks exp.rienced by Togo. The a.m wa. to study the correla.ion between glycemic control a.d blood p.essure control a.d to determine the fa.tors a.socia.ed with blood p.essure control. Methodology: This wa. a.descrip.ive cross-sectiona. study with a. a.a.ytica. focus over 7 months. p.0}ients were recruited a. outp.0}ients a.d a.l underwent a.bula.ory blood p.essure mea.ure, glyca.ed hemoglobin a.d crea.inine mea.urements, a.d a.sessment of comp.ia.ce with trea.ment. Results: During this p.riod 116 p.0}ients were collected. The p.edomina.ce wa. fema.e 69%. The mea. a.e of the p.0}ients wa. 62 ± 7 yea.s with a.p.a. between 60 a.d 70 yea.s. The a.era.e a.e of hyp.rtension wa. 12 yea.s a.d tha. of dia.etes 6 1/2 yea.s. The most frequently a.socia.ed ca.diova.cula. risk fa.tor wa. a.sedenta.y lifestyle (71.5%) a.ter a.e. 57.8% of p.0}ients were not controlled a. the office, with a.p.edomina.ce of systolic hyp.rtension (58.2%). 61.6% of p.0}ients were controlled by a.bula.ory blood p.essure mea.ure, a.ra.e of 47.8% of white coa. hyp.rtension. Glycemic control wa. observed in 42.2% of ca.es a.d 87% of p.0}ients ha. good rena. function (glomerula. filter ra.e ≥ 60 ml/mn). Thera.eutic comp.ia.ce wa. good in 53.4% of ca.es a.d dua. thera.y wa. the most used thera.eutic moda.ity 44.8% (52 p.0}ients) followed by trip.e thera.y. The fa.tors a.socia.ed with p.or blood p.essure control were glycemic imba.a.ce, non-comp.ia.ce a.d monothera.y. Dua. thera.y ha. a.p.otective effect. Conclusion: The a.socia.ion of hyp.rtension a.d typ. 2 dia.etes is frequent. The risk of occurrence increa.es with a.e. a.bula.ory blood p.essure mea.ure is the best method to a.sess blood p.essure control. Op.imiza.ion of blood p.essure control should a.so include op.imiza.ion of glycemic control.
