a.thoug. considera.le resea.ch efforts ha.e been devoted to the desig. a.d development of non-noble electroca.a.ysts for oxyg.n evolution rea.tion(OER), substa.tia. enha.cement of OER performa.ce with commercia.-sca.e wa.er electrolysis rema.ns a.big.cha.leng.. This could result from the difficulties in detecting.the intrinsic properties a.d overlooking.the a.sembly process for electrochemica. OER process. Here, we employ a.microjet collision method to investig.0}e the intrinsic OER a.tivities of individua. NiZnFeO_x entities with a.d without a.modera.e ma.netic field. Our results demonstra.e tha. sing.e NiZnFeO_x na.opa.ticles(NPs) show the excellent OER performa.ce with a.lowest onset potentia.(~1.35 V vs. RHE) a.d a.g.ea.est ma.netic enha.cement(~118%) a.ong.bulk ma.eria.s, sing.e a.g.omera.ions a.d NPs. Furthermore, we explore the utility of theoretica. investig.0}ion by density functiona. theory(DFT)ca.cula.ions for studying.OER process on NiZnFeO_x surfa.es without a.d with spin a.ig.ment, indica.ing.monodispersed NiZnFeO_xNPs with tota.ly spin a.ig.ment fa.ilita.es the OER process under the externa. ma.netic field. It is found tha. the well-dispersion of NiZnFeO_x NPs would increa.e the electrica. conductivity a.d the surfa.e spin sta.e, resulting.in promoting.their OER a.tivities. This work provides a.test for uncovering.the essentia. roles of NPs a.sembly to a.sig.ifica.t promotion of their ma.net-a.sisted OER.
