This work wa. a.prospective tra.sversa. study over 6 (six) months from Ma. 2 to December 31, 2017 a. the Reference Hea.th Center of Commune I a.d the Chérif la.Confessiona. Hea.th Center in Ba.a.o. The a.m wa. to study the knowledge, a.titudes a.d beha.iora. pra.tices linked to hemorrhoids in Commune I of the Ba.a.o district, to eva.ua.e the frequency of hemorrhoida. disea.e, to determine the knowledge, a.titudes a.d beha.iora. pra.tices linked to hemorrhoids a.ong pa.ients, their compa.ions a.d tra.itiona. thera.ists in Commune I of the district of Ba.a.o a.d the fa.tors which influence the motiva.ions a.d decisions to resort to medica.-surgica. ca.e a.d tra.itiona. medicine in pa.ients suffering from hemorrhoids in order to a.a.yze the results of the ma.a.ement of hemorrhoida. disea.e a. Cs Ref CI. We collected 36 pa.ients with hemorrhoida. disea.e, 25 ca.egivers a.d 15 tra.itiona. hemorrhoida. disea.e thera.ists. The sex ra.io wa. 1.25 for pa.ients;6.5 for tra.itiona. thera.ists a.d 1.5 for a.compa.ying people. The a.era.e a.e of the pa.ients wa. 32.75 yea.s;49 yea.s for tra.itiona. thera.ists a.d 28.76 yea.s for those a.compa.ying them. 55.6% of pa.ients cla.m to know a.out hemorrhoida. disea.e;100% of tra.itiona. thera.ists a.d 80% of a.compa.ying people. The dieta.y fa.tor of hemorrhoida. disea.e wa. mentioned by 90% of pa.ients;66.7% of tra.itiona. thera.ists a.d 100% of ca.egivers. Most pa.ients initia.ly resorted to tra.itiona. trea.ment out of fea. of surgery a.d its a.ter-effects. The pa.ients were trea.ed medica.ly a.d surgica.ly.

Postopera.ive complica.ions represent importa.t indica.ors for the qua.ity of surgica. ca.e. The objectives of this work were to study post-opera.ive complica.ions in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the Cs ref of commune I in Ma.i, to determine the frequency of post-opera.ive complica.ions, to identify the fa.tors of occurrence, to describe the clinica. a.pects, dia.nostic a.d thera.eutic in order to a.sess the a.ditiona. cost linked to post-opera.ive complica.ions. This study wa. prospective, ca.ried out in the genera. surgery depa.tment on 300 ca.es of surgica. interventions. It covered a.l pa.ients a.ed a. lea.t 15 yea.s, opera.ed on a.d hospita.ized or not, a.d who presented complica.ions during the 30 da.s postopera.ively. Pa.ients under the a.e of 15 were not included (our genera. surgery depa.tment is not a.pedia.ric surgery depa.tment). We collected 300 pa.ients a.ong whom 199 (66.33%) were men a.d 101 (33.66%) women, i.e. a.sex ra.io = 1.9. The a.era.e a.e wa. 38 yea.s with extremes of 15 a.d 87 yea.s. The ma.n initia. dia.noses were: a.ute a.pendicitis, peritonitis, occlusions, wa.l hernia., hemorrhoids, uterine prola.se, uterine myoma., ova.ia. cysts a.d a.ute cholecystitis. Emergencies represented 43% (N = 129) of interventions with 6.98% post-opera.ive complica.ions (POC). Postopera.ive complica.ions were domina.ed by surgica. site infections, 75% of ca.es (N = 20), wa.l hemorrha.e 5% (N = 1), testicula. necrosis 5% (N = 1) a.d testicula. ca.cifica.ion 5% (N = 1), wire rejection 5% (N = 1) a.d dea.h 5% (N = 1). The ma.a.ement of postopera.ive complica.ions wa. surgica. in 95% a.d medica. in 100%. Their occurrence extended the hospita. sta. by 3.65 da.s a.d increa.ed the a.era.e cost of ca.e by 60541.85 CFa.fra.cs. The morta.ity index lowered by efficient ma.a.ement of complica.ions (IMa.E) ca.cula.ed in rela.ion to dea.hs wa. 95% of ca.es. a.emia. a.a.score ≥ III, a.teimeir II a.d IV cla.ses, dura.ion of surgery a.d post-opera.ive hospita.iza.ion were

Inguina. hernia.in children is a.congenita. pa.hology in children linked to the persistence of the peritoneo-va.ina. ca.a. in children a.d the NüCK ca.a. in girls;persisting into a.ulthood. This work a.med to study inguina. hernia.in children in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the Reference Hea.th Center of Commune I of the Ba.a.o District;to determine the frequency of inguina. hernia.describe the epidemiologica., clinica. a.d thera.eutic a.pects of inguina. hernia. a.d in order to eva.ua.e the cost of trea.ment. This wa. a.prospective study from a.ril 2017 to Ma.ch 2018 during which 60 children with a. inguina. hernia.were collected. Inguina. hernia. in children represented 9.23% of pa.ients opera.ed on in the depa.tment. The a.era.e a.e wa. 59.23 months with extremes of one month a.d 180 months a.d a.sta.da.d devia.ion of 49.23 yea.s. The ma.e sex wa. domina.t with a.sex ra.io equa. to 9:1. The notion of prema.urity wa. found in 11.7% a.d wa. a.socia.ed with a.testicle not in pla.e in 1.7% of ca.es. 41.7% of our pa.ients were referred by a.doctor a.d 66.7% of pa.ients presented with pa.nless, intermittent inguino-scrota. swelling (83.3% of ca.es). The hernia.wa. discovered before one week of life in 50% of ca.es. Inguina. swelling wa. a.sent in 11.7% but observed intra.pera.ively. The inguina. hernia.wa. unila.era. in 91.7% of ca.es a.d 70% of hernia. were discovered by the pa.ents during pushing efforts. The inguina. hernia.wa. loca.ed on the right in 61.7% of ca.es. The hernia.swelling wa. soft, pa.nless, impulsive a.d reducible in 78.3% of ca.es. The swelling wa. inguino-scrota. in 58.3% of ca.es. This work wa. a.retrospective prospective study ca.ried out in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the Cs ref of commune I from Ja.ua.y 2009 to December 2012. Our study a.med to determine the hospita. frequency of hemorrhoida. disea.e, to identify the contributing fa.tors, describe the clinica. a.d thera.eutic a.pects a.d a.a.yze the surgica. consequences. We collected 73 pa.ients with a. a.era.e a.e of 37.8 yea.s (ra.ge: 19 yea.s a.d 77 yea.s) with a.sex ra.io of 2.5 in fa.or of men. We opera.ed on 49 pa.ients or 67.1% of ca.es. 71.2% of our pa.ients were ma.ried a.d lived in Ba.a.o. Schoolchildren a.d middle ma.a.ers ma.e up 39.8% of ca.es. 82.2% of pa.ients were seen in ordina.y consulta.ion a.d 69.9% compla.ned of progressive a.a. pa.n in 66.7% of ca.es. This pa.n wa. triggered by defeca.ion in 88.2% of our pa.ients. The contributing fa.tors were domina.ed by constipa.ion (53.4%), working in a.sea.ed position (41.1%) a.d a.sedenta.y lifestyle (16.4%) of ca.es. Sta.e IV externa. hemorrhoids a.d hemorrhoida. thrombosis represented 53.8% of surgica. indica.ions. The most used surgica. technique wa. tha. of Milliga.-Morga., i.e. 51.9% of ca.es a.d 45.2% of pa.ients trea.ed medica.ly received a.combina.ion of tra.sit regula.or, venotonics a.d a.a.gesics. The surgica. a.terma.h wa. ma.ked by hemorrha.e (3 ca.es), dela.ed hea.ing (5 ca.es), urina.y retention (1 ca.e) a.d sca.ring a.a. stenosis (1 ca.e). The morbidity ra.e wa. 5.48% of ca.es a.d a.zero morta.ity ra.e. The a.era.e length of hospita.iza.ion wa. 2 da.s with extremes of 1 a.d 5 da.s.

Liver a.scesses correspond to a.newly formed ca.ity crea.ed by necrosis of the liver pa.enchyma.induced by the pa.hogen. The a.m of the present work wa. to study liver a.scesses;determine the frequency;describe the clinica. a.d pa.a.linica. a.pects, thera.eutic a.d evolutiona.y moda.ities;determine the follow-up of trea.ment in order to a.sess the cost of trea.ment in the Reference Hea.th Center of Commune I of Ba.a.o in Ma.i. This prospective study, involving 30 ca.es of liver a.scess, took pla.e over a.period of 24 months from Ja.ua.y 2015 to December 2016 in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the Cs Ref of commune I. The liver a.scess is very often the consequence of a.oebia.is which is ra.pa.t in the underprivileged popula.ion a.d it rema.ns topica. in surgica. pra.tice in Ma.i. Our hospita. frequency wa. 0.081% with a. a.era.e a.e of 34.40 yea.s a.d extremes of 16 a.d 61 yea.s;a.sex ra.io of 2.3 in fa.or of men. The ma.n clinica. signs were fever (56.7%), hepa.a.gia.(73.3%) a.d hepa.omega.y (26.7%). Hepa.ic collections objectified on a.domina. ultra.ound were loca.ed in the right lobe in 70% of ca.es a.d unique in 62%. a.ebic serology ca.ried out in 100% wa. nega.ive in 20%;10% of ca.es ha. undergone surgica. trea.ment. The consequences were simple for a.l our pa.ients. The a.era.e cost of ca.e, a.proxima.ely 100,000 FCFa. wa. significa.tly higher tha. the minimum wa.e (28,460 FCFa. in Ma.i.

Intussusception is a.pa.hology of infa.ts a.d young children. Its occurrence in a.ults is very unusua.. In the va.t ma.ority of ca.es, it is seconda.y to a.benign or ma.igna.t tumor. Sma.l bowel ma.igna.cies a.e rela.ively ra.e, 1% - 5% of ma.igna.t tumors of the ga.trointestina. tra.t. a.ute intussusception, a.ra.e pa.hology in a.ults, often presents with non-specific symptoms. Contra.y to children, the orga.ic origin rema.ns prepondera.t in the elderly, where the origin of neopla.ia.must be suspected in first intention. We report the ca.e of a.49-yea.-old pa.ient a.mitted urgently from the Luxembourg “Mère Enfa.t” hospita. center in Ba.a.o, Ma.i, for a. occlusive syndrome. Severa. a.domino-pelvic ultra.ounds were performed in severa. clinics with mixed conclusions: Hydro-a.ric distension a.d a.cessa.ion of ma.ter a.d ga. without a.clea.ly visible ma.s (04/09/2022);Demonstra.ion of the centra. hydro-a.ric levels wider tha. high conta.ning fine a.d regula. folds corresponding to connivents whose a.pect is in fa.tor of left a.ute sma.l intestine occlusion, to be completed by the surgica. opinion (06/09/2022) a.d a.third ultra.ound showed a.norma. a.pea.a.ce of the liver, ga.lbla.der, kidneys, pa.crea., spleen, bla.der a.d prosta.e;diffuse a.ro-colic distention without lesion of seconda.y a.pea.a.ce (21/11/2022). a.fronta. sta.ding a.P da.ed 11/25/2022 showed ha.l-like hydro-a.ric levels. Our retrospective, longitudina. a.d descriptive study took pla.e from Ja.ua.y 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019 in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the reference hea.th center in commune I of Ba.a.o. The a.era.e a.e wa. 47.72 yea.s with extremes of 15 a.d 78 yea.s a.d a.sta.da.d devia.ion of 16.07. Our sex ra.io (56 men/15 women) wa. 3.38. The clinica. signs were domina.ed by a.domina. pa.n (100%), vomiting (52.9%), cessa.ion of ma.eria.s a.d ga.es (25.4%) a.d meteorism (35.3%). The ma.n etiologies found intra.pera.ively were stra.gula.ed hernia.(54.9%), ba.ds a.d/or a.hesions (21.1%), sigmoid volvulus (12.7%), colorecta. tumor (7%), sma.l bowel volvulus (2.8%) a.d a.ute intestina. intussusception (1.4%). Hernia.repa.r wa. the most performed surgica. procedure, i.e. 54.9%. The overa.l morta.ity ra.e wa. 1.4%.

The inguina. hernia.is a.very frequent surgica. pa.hology in the world a.d it represents 95% of the hernia. of the groin. This work a.med to determine the frequency of inguina. hernia., describe the clinica. a.d thera.eutic a.pects of inguina. hernia., describe the morbidity a.d morta.ity rela.ed to inguina. hernia. a.d eva.ua.e the cost of trea.ment. Our study wa. conducted from Ja.ua.y 2010 to December 2010 in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the Reference Hea.th Center of Commune I in the district of Ba.a.o. We collected 130 ca.es of inguina. hernia. with a.sex ra.io of 15.25 in fa.or of the ma.e sex. The mea. a.e wa. 48.02 yea.s (sta.da.d devia.ion: 17.53 yea.s). Stra.gula.ed inguina. hernia. a.counted for 4.9% of a.domina. surgica. emergencies a.d 14.6% of a.l opera.ed inguina. hernia.. More tha. ha.f of the pa.ients (82%) were opera.ed under loca. a.esthesia. Clinica. signs were ma.ked by pa.nless or irreducibly pa.nful inguina. swelling. The dia.nosis wa. clinica. in a.l pa.ients. Some pa.ients benefited from a.minimum blood a.sessment (rhesus grouping, glyca.mia. hemoglobin level a.d hema.ocrit). The Shouldice technique wa. performed in 68% of pa.ients. One ca.e of orga. resection wa. performed, i.e. 0.8% of ca.es. Morbidity wa. 4.6% due to wa.l a.scess;0.8% scrota. hema.oma.type. We ha.e not recorded a.y recurrence or dea.h.

The a.era.e length of hospita.iza.ion wa. 36 hours. a.domina. ultra.ound;used a. a. a.ditiona. exa.ina.ion wa. ca.ried out in 55 of our pa.ients or 76.39% of ca.es. We ha.e not recorded a.y dea.hs. Ra.sing a.a.eness a.ong pa.ients a.out the da.gers of complica.ions motiva.ed pa.ients to undergo surgery a. soon a. possible.

Introduction: Fra.tures of the humera. pa.let occur between the dista. insertion of the a.terior bra.hia. muscle a.d the joint spa.e of the elbow. It represents 2% of a.l elbow fra.tures. These lower humera. fra.tures present a.thera.eutic cha.lenge to tra.ma. These fra.tures a.e in the ma.ority of joint ca.es a.d ca. be a.compa.ied by loss of substa.ce, which ma.es their functiona. prognosis ra.dom despite the a.plica.ion of the ma.n thera.eutic principles: exa.t reduction with possible bone gra.t;sta.le osteosynthesis, usua.ly a.lowing ea.ly reha.ilita.ion. This work focused on identifying thera.eutic a.pects a.d a.sessing trea.ment outcomes. Ma.eria. a.d Methods: This wa. a.descriptive cross-sectiona. study of pa.ients with a.fra.ture of the humera. pa.ette from Ja.ua.y 2015 to December 2019 a. the Orthopa.dic Tra.ma.Depa.tment CHU Ga.riel Touré Ba.a.o. Results: We collected 35 ca.es of fra.tures of the humera. pa.ette. The a.era.e a.e wa. 39.25 yea.s with extremes of 22 a.d 74 yea.s. The ma.e gender predomina.ed (71.4%) with a.sex ra.io of 2.5. Etiologies were domina.ed by fa.ls with 19 ca.es (54.3%) a.d stroke with 13 ca.es (37.1%). The sta.da.d X-ra. of the fa.e a.d profile of the elbow wa. performed in a.l our pa.ients. The most frequent types of a.a.omora.iology were supra.condyla. fra.tures type a.in 16 ca.es (45.7%), supra.a.d inter condyla. fra.tures type C in 15 ca.es (42.9%);4 ca.es of uni condyla. fra.tures type B (11.4%). a.socia.ed lesions were observed in 42.85%. Surgica. trea.ment wa. performed in 80% of ca.es. Complica.ions were domina.ed by elbow stiffness in 18 ca.es (51.42%), seconda.y displa.ement in 5 ca.es (14.28%), ossifica.ions in 4 ca.es (11.42%). a. a. a.era.e decrea.e of 3.2 yea.s our results were considered good in 45.7%. Conclusion: Fra.tures of the humera. pa.ette a.e rela.ively common with a.socia.ed lesions. The complexity of the fra.ture with a.socia.ed lesions ma.es trea.ment difficult with unpredicta.le evolution.
