Plastic waste is an underutilized resource that has the potential to be transformed into value-added ***,its chemical diversity leads to cost-intensive sorting techniques,limiting recycling and upcycling ***,we report an open-loop recycling method to produce graded feedstock from mixed polyolefins waste,which makes up 60%of total plastic *** method uses heat flow scanning to quantify the composition of plastic waste and resolves its compatibility through controlled *** resulting feedstock is then used to synthesize blended pellets,porous sorbents,and superhydrophobic coatings via thermally induced phase separation and *** hybrid approach broadens the opportunities for reusing plastic waste,which is a step towards creating a more circular economy and better waste management practices.

The wireless sensor network （WSN） consists of sensor nodes that interact with each other to collectively monitor environmental or physical conditions at different locations for the intended users. One of its potential deployments is in the form of smart home and ambient assisted living （SHAAL）to measure patients or elderly physiological signals, control home appliances, and monitor home. This paper focuses on the development of a wireless sensor node platform for SHAAL application over WSN which complies with the IEEE 802.15.4 standard and operates in 2.4 GHz ISM （industrial, scientific, and medical） band. The initial stage of SHAAL application development is the design of the wireless sensor node named TelG mote. The main features of TelG mote contributing to the green communications include low power consumption, wearable, flexible, user-friendly, and small sizes. It is then embedded with a self-built operating system named WiseOS to support customized operation. The node can achieve a packet reception rate （PRR） above 80% for a distance of up to 8 m. The designed TelG mote is also comparable with the existing wireless sensor nodes available in the market.

Wheat is a critical crop,extensively consumed worldwide,and its production enhancement is essential to meet escalating *** presence of diseases like stem rust,leaf rust,yellow rust,and tan spot significantly diminishes wheat yield,making the early and precise identification of these diseases vital for effective disease *** advancements in deep learning algorithms,researchers have proposed many methods for the automated detection of disease pathogens;however,accurately detectingmultiple disease pathogens simultaneously remains a *** challenge arises due to the scarcity of RGB images for multiple diseases,class imbalance in existing public datasets,and the difficulty in extracting features that discriminate between multiple classes of disease *** this research,a novel method is proposed based on Transfer Generative Adversarial Networks for augmenting existing data,thereby overcoming the problems of class imbalance and data *** study proposes a customized architecture of Vision Transformers(ViT),where the feature vector is obtained by concatenating features extracted from the custom ViT and Graph Neural *** paper also proposes a Model AgnosticMeta Learning(MAML)based ensemble classifier for accurate *** proposedmodel,validated on public datasets for wheat disease pathogen classification,achieved a test accuracy of 99.20%and an F1-score of 97.95%.Compared with existing state-of-the-art methods,this proposed model outperforms in terms of accuracy,F1-score,and the number of disease pathogens *** future,more diseases can be included for detection along with some other modalities like pests and weed.

Objective:To justify the folkloric use of Swietenia mahagoni(***)seeds,90%ethanolic extract and their aqueous and organic partitioning substances were evaluated for their possible antidiarrhoeal and antimicrobial potentials in ***:Crude ethanolic extract of *** seeds were subjected and partitioned into fractions using solvents at different *** and antidiarrheal activities were evaluated and subsequently outcomes were corresponded with the conventional standard ***:The antidiarrheal activity was assessed using mouse model,where unfractionated ethanolic extract significantly reduced,the number,onset,rate and weight of diarrheal *** fraction showed the limited number of defecation episodes of 27.0%and 40.9%at dose of 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg body weight respectively and reference drug,loperamide,showed 53%at a dose of 50 mg/*** extract fractions exhibited the significant potential to kill or subside the growth of known Gram-positive and Gram-negative ***:Ethanolic extract and their aqueous and organic fractious revealed the seeds of ***(Linn.)have the potential to be used as a remedy for diarrhea and known pathogenic microbes which ensured the folkloric use of the seeds of ***.

Objective:To investigate the clot lysis,antimicrobic and membrane stabilizing potentials of ethanolic extractives of the leaves of Heliotropium indicum(***).Methods:Crude ethanolic extracts of *** leaves were partitioned successively using solvents of different polarity and subjected to determine qualitatively and quantitatively for the presence of different bioactive constitutes and fractions which were assessed for their possible clot lysis,antimicrobic,and membrane stabilizing activities as compared with the known ***:For the thrombolytic activity,the petroleum ether soluble fraction showed the highest percent of clot lysis(35.4%)among all fractions,while streptokinase and water resulted in 65.15%and 3.77%clot lysis,*** respect to the membrane stabilizing activity,carbon tetrachloride soluble fraction of *** profoundly interdicted the hemolysis of erythrocytes brought about by osmotic induction(39.24%)or by heat(40.20%).The other fractions exhibited less significant membrane stabilizing *** contrast,acetylsalicylic acid resulted in 72.25%±0.30%inhibition of osmotically induced hemolysis and showed a lower level of protection of heat induced hemolysis(42.56%).Crude ethanolic extracts were moderately sensitive against known pathogenic *** pharmacological activities of *** are due to the presence of bioactive compounds,we detected and quantified the presence of significant levels of flavonoid and tannin ***:The outcomes of this research show that the leaves of *** have the potential to be used as a remedy for thrombosis,inflammatory diseases and against few important bacterial pathogens.

Diagnostic dilemma of abdominal tuberculosis in non-HIV patients:An ongoing challenge for physicians

AIM： To assess the clinical features, yield of the diagnostic tests and outcome of abdominal tuberculosis in non-HIV patients.METHODS： Adult patients with discharge diagnosis of abdominal tuberculosis （based upon; positive microbiology, histo-pathology, imaging or response to trial of anti TB drugs） during the period 1999 to 2004 were analyzed. Patient＇s characteristics, laboratory investigations, radiological, endoscopic and surgical findings were evaluated. Abdominal site involved （intestinal, peritoneal, visceral, and nodal） and response to treatment was also noted.RESULTS： There were 209 patients enrolled. One hundred and twenty-three （59%） were females. Symptoms were abdominal pain 294 （93%）, fever 234 （64%）, night sweats 99 （48%）, weight loss 98 （47%）, vomiting 75 （36%）, ascites 74 （35%）, constipation 64 （31%）, and diarrhea 25 （12%）. Sub-acute and acute intestinal obstruction was seen in 28 （13%） and 12 （11%） respectively. Radiological evidence of pulmonary tuberculosis was found in 134 （64%） patients. Basis of diagnosis of abdominal tuberculosis were radiology （Chest and barium X-Rays, Ultrasound and CT scan abdomen） in 111 （53%） and histo-pathology （tissue obtained during surgery, colonoscopy, CT or ultrasound guided biopsy, laparoscopy and upper gastro intestinal endoscopy） in 87 （42%） patients. Mycobacterium culture was positive in 6/87 （7%） patients and response to therapeutic trial of anti tubercular drugs was the basis of diagnosis in 5 （2.3%） patients. Predominant site of involvement by abdominal TB was intestinal in 103 （49%） patients, peritoneal in 87 （42%） patients, solid viscera in 10 （5%） and nodal in 9 （4%） patients. Response to medical treatment was found in 158 （76%） patients and additionally 35 （17%） patients also underwent surgery. In a 425 ± 120 d follow-up period 12 patients died （eight post operative） and no case of relapse was noted.CONCLUSION： Abdominal TB has diverse and nonspecific symptomatology. To study the effect of high temperature, rice seedlings 20, 30, 40 and 50 d were kept at 5, 10, 15 and 20 cm water depth in a water pool. Meteorological findings indicated that water temperature varied up to 10 cm but became stable below this depth. Deep water inflicted higher tiller mortality, minimal increase in dry weight of aerial parts and leaf area, decrease in root length, and decrease in root dry weight especially at 20 cm water depth and produced an unbalanced T/R ratio (top versus root dry weight). However, deep water tended to increase plant length. These parameters, however, excel in shallow water. Older seedlings, with the exception of root dry weight, could not perform well compared to young seedlings in all physiological and morphological aspects. The study revealed that seedlings, particularly young ones, stand well in shallow water and can cope with high temperature.

Effects of a low-radiotoxicity uranium salt(uranyl acetate) on biochemical and hematological parameters of the catfish,Clarias gariepinus

Specimens of Clarias gariepinus were treated with lethal(70,75,80,85,90,and 95 mg/L) and sub-lethal concentrations(8,12 and 16 mg/L) of uranyl acetate,a low-radiotoxicity uranium salt. The LC 50 value was registered as 81.45 mg/L. The protein and glycogen concentrations in liver and muscles were decreased in the fish exposed to sub-lethal concentrations. The red blood cell(RBC) and white blood cell(WBC) counts,haemoglobin(Hb) concentration and haematocrit(Hct) values were decreased. Different blood indices like mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular haemoglobin(MCH) and mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration(MCHC) were negatively affected. Level of plasma glucose was elevated whereas protein was decreased. The level of calcium concentration(Ca) was declined in the blood of exposed fish whereas magnesium(Mg) remains unchanged. The activity level of glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase(GOT) and glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(GPT) was elevated in exposed fish. These effects were more pronounced in the last period of exposure and in higher concentrations. Results of the present study indicate that uranyl acetate has adverse effects on C larias gariepinus and causes changes in the biochemical and hematological parameters of the fish.
