Conditional Probability Approach for Fault Detection in Photovoltaic Energy Farms

Detection of electric faults in photovoltaic (PV) farms enhances a sustainable service continuity of farm energy generation. In this paper, a probabilisticfunction is introduced to detect the faults in the PV farms. The conditional probability functions are adopted to detect different fault conditions such as internalstring faults, string-to-string faults, and string-to-negative terminal faults. As thediodes are important to make the PV farms in-service safely during the faults,the distribution currents of these faults are evaluated with different concepts ofdiode consideration as well as without considering any diode installation. Thispart of the study enhances the diode utilization in the PV farms concerning theprotection point of view. The PV string currents are used as inputs to the conditional probability detection algorithms. However, the setting of the fault detectiontechnique is not portable for the other PV systems due to broad ranges of PV system ratings. To accordingly generalize the proposed fault detection algorithm, thePV string currents are first normalized to the total array current for universallyapplying the detection function at different PV string ratings. The limiting faultresistances are evaluated to show the sensitivity of the proposed fault *** results ensure the application of the proposed probabilistic detection functionfor PV farms.

Ga-Al-MFI samples were synthesized in hydrothermal conditions from gels of composition 1.08CH3NH2- 0.134TPAbr-1SiO2-xAl2O3-yGa2O3-40H2O at 175 ℃ for 7 days, with x = 0.005 and 0.0025, y = 0.005, 0,010 and 0.020. The samples were characterized by XRD, bET measurements, thermal analysis （TGA-DTA） atomic absorption and high resolution solid state MAS 27Al and 71Ga NMR measurements. The aromatization of propane was studied as catalytic test. The activity and selectivity of the catalysts were determined for benzene, toluene and xylenes on the one hand and for methane and ethane on the other hand. The most active sample was obtained with the highest Ga/AI ratio. For this sample, the bTX selectivity obtained by aromatization was always higher than the hydrocracking selectivity leading to methane and ethane. The relative amount of toluene was higher than that of benzene and ofxylenes. The samples were deactivated by coke formation that was revealed more severe for the most active sample,

In this paper,we formulate and analyze a new fractional-order Logistic model with feedback control,which is different from a recognized mathematical model proposed in our very recent *** stability of the proposed model and its numerical solutions are studied *** using the Lyapunov direct method for fractional dynamical systems and a suitable Lyapunov function,we show that a unique positive equilibrium point of the new model is asymptotically *** an important consequence of this,we obtain a new mathematical model in which the feedback control variables only change the position of the unique positive equilibrium point of the original model but retain its asymptotic ***,we construct unconditionally positive nonstandard finite difference(NSFD)schemes for the proposed model using the Mickens’*** is worth noting that the constructed NSFD schemes not only preserve the positivity but also provide reliable numerical solutions that correctly reflect the dynamics of the new fractional-order ***,we report some numerical examples to support and illustrate the theoretical *** results indicate that there is a good agreement between the theoretical results and numerical ones.

In this article, Crank-Nicolson method is used to study the variable order fractional cable equation. The variable order fractional derivatives are described in the Riemann- Liouville and the Griinwald-Letnikov sense. The stability analysis of the proposed technique is discussed. Numerical results are provided and compared with exact solutions to show the accuracy of the proposed technique.

AIM: To analyse the impact of NOD2/CARD15 mutations on the clinical course of Crohn 's disease patients from an eastern European country (Hungary). METHODS: We investigated the prevalence of the three common NOD2/CARD15 mutations (Arg702Trp, Gly908Arg, 1007finsC) in 148 patients with Crohn's disease, 128 patients with ulcerative colitis and 208 controls recruited from the University of Szeged, Hungary. In patients with Crohn 's disease, the prevalence of NOD2/CARD15 mutations was correlated to the demographical and clinical parameters. RESULTS: In total, 32.4% of Crohn's disease patients carried at least one mutant allele within NOD2/CARD15 compared to 13.2% of patients with ulcerative colitis (P = 0.0002) and to 11.5% of controls (Pbehaviour (P= 0.008). Furthermore, 51.9% of patients positive for the 1007finsC mutation underwent a surgical resection within the ileum compared to only 17.4% of patients without the 1007finsC mutation (P = 0.001). With respect to the other two mutations (Arg702Trp and Gly908Arg), no associations were found with all investigated clinical parameters. CONCLUSION: NOD2/CARD15 mutations are frequently found in Crohn's disease patients from Hungary. The 1007finsC mutation is associated with stenotic disease behaviour and frequent ileal resections.

Korchmaros and nagy [Hermitian codes from higher degree places. J Pure Appl Algebra, doi： 10. 1016/***.2013.04.002, 2013] computed the Weierstrass gap sequence G（P） of the Hermitian function field Fq2 （H） at any place P of degree 3, and obtained an explicit formula of the Matthews-Michel lower bound on the minimum distance in the associated differential Hermitian code CΩ（D, mP） where the divisor D is, as usual, the sum of all but one 1-degree Fq2-rational places of Fq2 （H） and m is a positive integer. For plenty of values of m depending on q, this provided improvements on the designed minimum distance of CΩ（D, mP）. Further improvements from G（P） were obtained by Korchmaros and nagy relying on algebraic geometry. Here slightly weaker improvements are obtained from G（P） with the usual function-field method depending on linear series, Riemann-Roch theorem and Weierstrass semigroups. We also survey the known results on this subject.
