BACKGROUND The occurrence of long-term bilioenteric anastomotic stenosis can readily induce liver atrophy and hyperplasia,thereby causing significant alterations in the anatomical and morphological aspects of the *** condition significantly hampers the accuracy of preoperative imaging diagnosis,while also exacerbating the complexity of surgical procedures and the likelihood of *** SUMMARY A 60-year-old female patient was admitted to the hospital presenting with recurring epigastric pain accompanied by a high *** patient had a history of cholecystectomy,although the surgical records were not *** on preoperative imaging and laboratory examination,the initial diagnosis indicated the presence of intrahepatic calculi,abnormal right liver morphology,and acute ***,during the surgical procedure,it was observed that both the left and right liver lobes exhibited evident atrophy and ***,there was a noticeable increase in the volume of the hepatic caudate lobe,and the original bilioenteric anastomosis was *** anastomosis underwent enlargement subsequent to *** a consequence of the presence of remaining stones in the caudate lobe,the second stage was effectively executed utilizing ultrasound-guided percutaneous transhepatic catheter *** the puncture,three days elapsed before the drain tip inadvertently perforated the liver,leading to the development of biliary panperitonitis,subsequently followed by pulmonary *** patient and her family strongly refused operation,and she *** The hepatic atrophy-hypertrophy complex induces notable alterations in the anatomical structure,thereby posing a substantial challenge in terms of imaging diagnosis and surgical ***,the long-term presence of hepatic fibrosis changes heightens the likelihood of complications arising from puncture procedures.

Single-atom catalysts (SACs) have garnered extensive attention in the field of catalysis due to their exceptional inherent reaction activity, optimal utilization of metal atoms, etc. Controlled synthesis plays a crucial role in elucidating the structure-activity relationship of SACs. This paper reviews various synthetic strategies for SACs, encompassing defect engineering, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) pyrolysis, and ion exchange. With specific examples, the significance of constructing catalysts at the atomic level is discussed, aiming to comprehensively understand the synthetic strategies of SACs. Finally, it addresses the challenges and prospects associated with controlled synthesis techniques for SACs as well as their future applications.

In this study,a human-sensitive frequency band vibration isolator(HFBVI)with quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)characteristics for heavy-duty truck seats is designed to improve the comfort of heavy-duty truck drivers on uneven ***,the analytical expressions for the force and displacement of the HFBVI are derived with the Lagrange equation and d'Alembert's principle,and are validated through the prototype restoring force ***,the harmonic balance method(HBM)is used to obtain the dynamic responses under harmonic excitation,and further the influence of pre-stretching on the dynamic characteristics and transmissibility is ***,the experimental prototype of the HFBVI is fabricated,and vibration experiments are conducted under harmonic excitation to verify the vibration isolation performance(VIP)of the proposed vibration *** experimental results indicate that the HFBVI can effectively suppress the frequency band(4-8 Hz)to which the human body is sensitive to vertical *** addition,under real random road spectrum excitation,the HFBVI can achieve low-frequency vibration isolation close to 2 Hz,providing new prospects for ensuring the health of heavy-duty truck drivers.

To study the anti-explosion protection effect of polyurea coating on reinforced concrete box girder,two segmental girder specimens were made at a scale of 1:3,numbered as G(without polyurea coating)and PCG(with polyurea coating).The failure characteristics and dynamic responses of the specimens were compared through conducting explosion *** reliability of the numerical simulation using LS-DYNA software was verified by the test *** effects of different scaled distances,reinforcement ratios,concrete strengths,coating thicknesses and ranges of polyurea were *** results show that the polyurea coating can effectively enhance the anti-explosion performance of the *** top plate of middle chamber in specimen G forms an elliptical penetrating hole,while that in specimen PCG only shows a very slight local *** peak vertical displacement and residual displacement of PCG decrease by 74.8% and 73.7%,respectively,compared with those of specimen *** the TNT explosion with small equivalent,the polyurea coating has a more significant protective effect on reducing the size of *** the increase of TNT equivalent,the protective effect of polyurea on reducing girder displacement becomes more *** optimal reinforcement ratio,concrete strength,thickness and range of polyurea coating were also drawn.

The rapid discharge of cuttings from the air cushion chamber is crucial for the construction safety and excavation efficiency of the slurry *** studies have mainly focused on the transport characteristics of cuttings in the slurry discharge pipe,while the complete process of cuttings entering the slurry discharge pipe from the air cushion chamber until they are discharged was often *** on the CFD-DEM coupling method and combined with actual engineering,this paper established a numerical model that can more completely reflect the cuttings discharge process during slurry shield tunneling,and the effects of the slurry velocity at slurry gate and scouring pipes,inclination angle of slurry discharge pipe,cuttings diameter and shape coefficient were investigated by analyzing the variation in the mass flow rate,mass of discharged cuttings,and discharged *** results revealed that increasing the slurry velocity can promote the discharge of *** keep the discharged rate at a high level,it is recommended that the slurry velocity at the slurry gate should be greater than 0.15 m/*** the inclination angle of the discharge pipe is conducive to the rapid discharge of *** with large diameter or small shape coefficient are more prone to accumulate in the air cushion chamber and cause clogging *** research results not only help to improve engineers'understanding of cuttings discharge in slurry shield,but also provide practical guidance for formulating relevant construction measures.

Analytical Expression for the Atomic Friction of a Single Asperity Based on the Prandtl-Tomlinson Model

The Prandtl-Tomlinson(PT)model has been widely applied to interpret the atomic friction mechanism of a single *** this study,we present an approximate explicit expression for the friction force in the one-dimensional PT model under quasi-static ***‘stick-slip’friction curves are first approximated properly by sawtooth-like lines,where the critical points before and after the‘slip’motion are described analytically in terms of a dimensionless parameterη.Following this,the average friction force is expressed in a closed form that remains continuous and valid forη>***,an analytical expression for the load dependence of atomic friction of a single asperity is derived by connecting the parameterηwith the normal *** the parameters reported in experiments,our prediction shows good agreement with relevant experimental results.
