Prevalence and Risk Factors of Stress Urinary Incontinence Among Perimenopausal Women and Its Influence on Daily Life in Women with Sexual Desire Problem

The prevalence of,and related factors to,stress urinary incontinence (SUI) among perimenopausal Chinese women and its impact on daily life among those women with sexual desire problem in Hubei province were *** this study,1519 perimenopausal women aged 40 to 65 years were selected from three urban communities in the Wuhan area,and two impoverished,mountainous communities in Hubei province,and followed from April to October *** information about demographic characteristics,menstruation,pregnancy,sexual life and chronic diseases was collected.A cross-sectional survey was carried out following information collection by Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression *** and multivariate logistic regression analysis demonstrated that the potential factors associated with developing SUI were old age (OR=3.4,95% CI:1.92-6.04),vaginal delivery (OR=0.623,95% CI:0.45-0.87),low income (OR=0.063,95% CI:0.40-0.92),atrophic vaginitis (OR=1.4,95% CI:1.03-1.80),pelvic organ prolapse (OR=2.81,95% CI:1.36-5.80),chronic pelvic pain (OR=2.17,95% CI:1.90-4.03),constipation (OR=1.44,95% CI:1.07-1.93) and incontinence of feces (OR=3.32,95% CI:2.03-5.43).Moreover,the ratio of SUI (33.2%) was higher than the ratio of urgency urinary incontinence (24.1 %) or the ratio of mixed urinary incontinence (17.4%),and SUI had a greater impact on daily life among women with decreased sexual *** conclusion,SUI is a common disorder affecting over one third of the women surveyed,and has a severe impact on the daily life of perimenopausal women with declined sexual ***,mode of delivery,and monthly income are major risk factors involved in the development of SUI.

Antiviral therapies for hepatitis B virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma

Chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection is a critical risk factor for the carcinogenesis and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). It promotes HCC development by inducing liver fibrogenesis, genetic and epigenetic alterations, and the expression of active viral-coded proteins. Effective antiviral treatments inhibit the replication of HBV, reduce serum viral load and accelerate hepatitis B e antigen serum conversion. Timely initiation of antiviral treatment is not only essential for preventing the incidence of HCC in chronic hepatitis B patients, but also important for reducing HBV reactivation, improving liver function, reducing or delaying HCC recurrence, and prolonging overall survival of HBV-related HCC patients after curative and palliative therapies. The selection of antiviral drugs, monitoring of indicators such as HBV DNA and hepatitis B surface antigen, and timely rescue treatment when necessary, are essential in antiviral therapies for HBVrelated HCC.

Modeling of irradiation-induced damage and failure behaviors of fuel foil/cladding interface in UMo/Zr monolithic fuel plates

Models to describe the damage and fracture behaviors of the interface between the fuel foil and cladding in UMo/Zr monolithic fuel plates were established and numerically *** effects of the interfacial cohesive strength and cohesive energy on the irradiationinduced thermal-mechanical behaviors of fuel plates were *** results indicated that for heterogeneously irradiated fuel plates:(1)interfacial damage and failure were predicted to be initiated near the fuel foil corner with higher fission densities,accompanied by the formation of a large gap after interface failure,which was consistent with some experimental observations;high tensile stresses in the fuel foil occurred near the edges of the failed interface,attributed to through-thickness cracking of the fuel foil,as found in some post-irradiation examinations;(2)the cohesive strength and cohesive energy of the interface both influenced the in-pile evolution behaviors of fuel plates;a lower cohesive strength or cohesive energy resulted in faster interfacial damage;(3)after interface fracture,the thickness of the whole plate increased to a greater degree(by~20%)than that of the samples without interfacial damage,which was attributed to the locally enhanced Mises stresses and the nearby creep deformations around the cracked *** study provided a theoretical basis for assessing failure in fuel elements.

A series of novel 4b-triazole-podophyllotoxin glycosides were synthesized by utilizing the Click *** of cytotoxicity against a panel of five human cancer cell lines(HL-60,SMMC-7721,A-549,MCF-7,SW480)using MTT assay shows that most of these compounds show weak *** was observed that compound 16 shows the highest activity with IC50 values ranging from 2.85 to 7.28 lM,which is more potent than the control drugs etoposide and cisplatin against four of five cancer cell lines *** 16 is characterized with an a-D-galactosyl residue directly linked to the triazole ring and a 40-OH group on the E ring of the podophyllotoxin *** investigation of representative compound indicates that incorporation of a sugar moiety seems to improve the chemical stability of the podophyllotoxin scaffold.

Progression and Regression of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms in Mice

Objective:Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)is a significant medical problem with a high mortality ***,the underlying mechanism for the progression and regression of AAA is ***:Experimental model of AAA was first created by porcine pancreatic elastase incubation around the infrarenal aorta of C57BL/6 ***,AAA progression and regression were evaluated based on the diameter and volume of *** aortas were harvested for hematoxylin-eosin staining(HE),orcein staining,sirius red staining,immunofluorescence analysis and peris’prussian blue staining at the indicated time ***,P-aminopropionitrile monofumarate(BAPN)was used to explore the underlying mechanism of the regression of ***:When we extended the observation period to 100 days,we not only observed an increase in the AAA diameter and volume in the early stage,but also a decrease in the late *** with AAA diameter and volume,the aortic thickness showed the same tendency based on HE *** elastin and collagen content first degraded and then regenerated,which corresponds to the early deterioration and late regression of ***,endogenous up-regulation of lysyl oxidase(LOX)was detected,accompanying the regression of AAA,as detected by an immunofluorescent *** and LOX inhibitor considerably inhibited the regression of AAA,paralleling the degradation of elastin lamella and ***:Taken together,we tentatively conclude that endogenous re-generation of LOX played an influential role in the regression of ***,regulatory factors on the generation of LOX exhibit promising therapeutic potential against AAA.

Controlled cortical impingement is a widely accepted method to induce traumatic brain injury to establish a traumatic brain injury animal model.A strike depth of 1 mm at a certain speed is recommended for a moderate brain injury and a depth of>2 mm is used to induce severe brain ***,the different effects and underlying mechanisms of these two model types have not been *** study investigated the changes in cerebral blood flow,differences in the degree of cortical damage,and differences in motor function under different injury parameters of 1 and 2 mm at injury speeds of 3,4,and 5 m/*** also explored the functional changes and mitochondrial damage between the 1 and 2 mm groups in the acute(7 days)and chronic phases(30 days).The results showed that the cerebral blood flow in the injured area of the 1 mm group was significantly increased,and swelling and bulging of brain tissue,increased vascular permeability,and large-scale exudation *** the 2 mm group,the main pathological changes were decreased cerebral blood flow,brain tissue loss,and cerebral vasospasm occlusion in the injured *** motor and cognitive impairments were found on day 7 after injury in the 2 mm group;at 30 days after injury,the motor function of the 2 mm group mice recovered significantly while cognitive impairment *** sequencing showed that compared with the 1 mm group,the 2 mm group expressed more ferroptosis-related *** changes of mitochondria in the two groups on days 7 and 30 using transmission electron microscopy revealed that on day 7,the mitochondria in both groups shrank and the vacuoles became larger;on day 30,the mitochondria in the 1 mm group became larger,and the vacuoles in the 2 mm group remained *** analyzing the proportion of mitochondrial subgroups in different groups,we found that the model mice had different patterns of mitochondrial composition at different time periods,suggesting that the differenc

Influence of distance between paralleled metal fibers on giant magnetoimpedance

Giant magnetoimpedance （GMI） and the GMI effect of a Co-based fiber beam were investigated in the frequency range of 0.1-10 MHz, and the influence of distance between adjacent fibers on the distribution of the surface circumferential magnetic field and GMI effect was analyzed. Compared with a single fiber, the distribution of the surface magnetic field of paralleled fibers is non-uniform, induced by magnetic interaction between metal fibers. The originally uniformly dis- tributed circumferential magnetic field changes into two obvious coexisting parts： one stronger and one weaker. The results prove that the strengthened circumferential magnetic field determines the GMI effect and sensitivity. It is found that the maximum surface of the circumferential magnetic field is reinforced by 88% when the four fibers are as closely parallel as possible; the GMI effect is greatest under higher field sensitivity. At 5 MHz, the sensitivity of the four-fiber beam reaches 3090 V/T, an increase of 277% compared with a single fiber. However, the magnetic interaction fades with the increase in distance between fibers and as the distribution of the surface magnetic field becomes even. The maximum magnetic field also becomes gradually equal to the level of a single fiber. When the distance is 1 mm, the maximum surface magnetic field is increased by 3.2%, and the improvement in the GMI effect is correspondingly slight. Therefore, a strong magnetic interaction among fibers can improve the intensity of the surface circumferential magnetic field and give rise to a fine GMI effect and high field sensitivity in Co-based metal fibers.

Improving performance of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)solar cell through constructing gradient energy level with deep-level hole transport material

The valence band offset between Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)and hole transport layer(HTL)is approximately 1.00 e V,which results in high energy loss and is identified as one of the bottle necks of Cs_(2)Ag BiBr_(6)perovskite solar cell(PSC)for achieving high power conversion efficiency(PCE).To tackle this problem,we propose the optimization of the energy level alignment by designing and synthesizing novel deep-level hole transport materials(HTMs).The sole introduction of deep-level HTMs successfully reduces the valence band offset between Cs_(2)Ag Bi Br_(6)and HTL,but induces the increased valence band offset at HTL/Au interface,limiting the PCE *** further solve the problem and improve the PCE,the gradient energy level arrangement is constructed by combining the newly developed deep-level HTM 6,6’-(3-((9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-3-yl)(4-methoxyphenyl)amino)thiophene-2,5-diyl)bis(N-(9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-2-yl)-N,9-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-9H-carbazol-3-amine)(TF)with 2,2’,7,7’-tetrakis(N,N’-dipmethoxyphenylamine)-9,9-spirobifluorene(Spiro-OMeTAD).Through optimization,an impressive PCE of 3.50%with remarkably high open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))and fill factor(FF)is achieved,qualifying it among the best pristine Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)PSCs.
