Ultrathin films of diazoresin （DR）/single-walled carbon nanotube （SWNT） were fabricated on thioglycollic acid （TGA） decorated gold （Au） electrodes by the self-assembly method combined with the photocrosslinking technique. The electrochemical behavior of dopamine （DA） at the DR/SWNT modified electrodes was studied using the cyclic voltammetry （CV） and differential pulse voltammetry （DPV） methods. Under the optimal conditions, a linear CV response to DA concentration from 1 p, mol/L to 40 μmol/L was observed, and the detection limit of DA was 2.1 ×10-3 μmol/L via the DPV method in the presence of 10μmol/L of uric acid （UA） or 2.5 × 10-3 μmol/L via the DPV method in the presence of 10 μmol/L of ascorbic acid （AA）. Moreover, the modified electrodes exhibited good reproducibility and sensitivity, demonstratinz its feasibilitv for analytical ourooses.

Dual-functional MnS_(2)/MnO_(2) heterostructure catalyst for efficient acidic hydrogen evolution reaction and assisted degradation of organic wastewater

The design and synthesis of non-precious metal dual-functional electrocatalysts through the modulation of electronic structure are important for the development of renewable hydrogen ***,MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC heterostructure dual-functional catalysts with ultrathin nanosheets were prepared by a twostep electrodeposition method for efficient acidic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) and degradation of organic wastewater(such as methylene blue(MB)).The electronic structure of Mn atoms at the MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC heterostructure interface is reconfigured under the joint action of S and O *** calculations show that the Mn d-band electron distribution in MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst has higher occupied states near the Fermi level compared to the MnO_(2) and MnS_(2) catalysts,which indicates that MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst has better electron transfer capability and catalytic *** MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalysts require overpotential of only 66 and 116 mV to reach current density of 10 and 100 mA cm^(-2)in MB/H_(2)SO_(4) *** MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst also has a low Tafel slope(26.72 mV dec^(-1)) and excellent stability(the performance does not decay after 20 h of testing).In addition,the MB removal efficiency of the MnS_(2)/MnO_(2)-CC catalyst with a better kinetic rate(0.0226) can reach 97.76%,which is much higher than that of the MnO_(x)-CC catalyst(72.10%).This strategy provides a new way to develop efficient and stable non-precious metal dual-functional electrocatalysts for HER and organic wastewater degradation.

Using a hybrid simulation approach that combines a finite difference method with a Brownian dynamics,we investigated the motion of charged *** to the fact that polymer-solution systems often contain a large number of particles and the charged palymer chains are in a state of random motion,it is a time consuming task to calculate the electrostatic interaction of the ***,we propose a new strategy to shorten the CPU time by reducing the iteration *** simulation results ilustrate the effect of preset parameters on CPU time and accuracy,and demonstrate the feasibility of the"local iteration"***,we find that the increase in the number of charged beads has no signifiant infuence on the time of global iterations and local *** a number of 80×80×80 grids,when the relative error is controlled below 1.5%,the computational efficiency is increased by 8.7 times in the case that contains 500 charged *** adition,for a number of 100×100×100 grids with 100 charged beads,the computational efciency can be increased up to 12 *** work provides new insights for the optimization of iterative algorithms in special problems.

The interaction between soil and marine structures like submarine pipeline/pipe pile/suction caisson is a complicated geotechnical mechanism *** this study,the interface is discretized into multiple mesoscopic contact elements that are damaged randomly throughout the shearing process due to the natural *** evolution equation of damage variable is developed based on the Weibull function,which is able to cover a rather wide range of distribution shapes by only two parameters,making it applicable for varying ***,a statistical damage model is established by incorporating Mohr–Coulomb strength criterion,in which the interfacial residual strength is considered whereby the strain softening behavior can be described.A concept of“semi-softening”characteristic point on shear stress–displacement curve is proposed for effectively modeling the evolution of strain ***,a series of ring shear tests of the interfaces between fine sea sand and smooth/rough steel surfaces are *** predicted results using the proposed model are compared with experimental data of this study as well as some results from existing literature,indicating that the model has a good performance in modeling the progressive failure and strain softening behavior for various types of soil–structure interfaces.

The valence band offset between Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)and hole transport layer(HTL)is approximately 1.00 e V,which results in high energy loss and is identified as one of the bottle necks of Cs_(2)Ag BiBr_(6)perovskite solar cell(PSC)for achieving high power conversion efficiency(PCE).To tackle this problem,we propose the optimization of the energy level alignment by designing and synthesizing novel deep-level hole transport materials(HTMs).The sole introduction of deep-level HTMs successfully reduces the valence band offset between Cs_(2)Ag Bi Br_(6)and HTL,but induces the increased valence band offset at HTL/Au interface,limiting the PCE *** further solve the problem and improve the PCE,the gradient energy level arrangement is constructed by combining the newly developed deep-level HTM 6,6’-(3-((9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-3-yl)(4-methoxyphenyl)amino)thiophene-2,5-diyl)bis(N-(9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-2-yl)-N,9-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)-9H-carbazol-3-amine)(TF)with 2,2’,7,7’-tetrakis(N,N’-dipmethoxyphenylamine)-9,9-spirobifluorene(Spiro-OMeTAD).Through optimization,an impressive PCE of 3.50%with remarkably high open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))and fill factor(FF)is achieved,qualifying it among the best pristine Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6)PSCs.

A Sensitive Material for Specifically Treating Tetracycline in Water Environment

There are currently many materials for treating residual antibiotics in the environment, but none of them can specifically remove antibiotics. In addition, these materials are not sensitive enough to low concentrations of antibiotics. Here we show that a sensitive and specific material was developed by the preparation of magnetic Fe_(3)O_(4)-PAMAM-antibody complexes for treating tetracycline. The prepared antibody complexes can specifically treat tetracycline from aqueous solutions and the tetracycline removal ability by adsorption was also investigated. Controlled experiments were carried out with the effects of solution pH, temperature, and initial concentration of the tetracycline. The tetracycline was completely removed within 35 min at room temperature 30 ℃ with the maximum removal rate of almost 100%. Therefore, this material for specifically combining antigen and antibody to treat tetracycline indicated good application prospects for the waste water treatment.
