Fe-Mn-c-Al alloys have been recognized as promising materials for c.r.ain low-temperature applications due to their exceptional mechanical properties and ***,their limited low-temperature toughness restricts their large-scale applications in specific *** influence of trace amounts of rare earth c.r.um(ce)on the low-temperature toughness of Fe-18Mn-0.6c-1.8Al alloys was *** addition of ce effectively alters the inclu-sions in the alloy,transforming large-sized irregular inclusions into fine ellipsoidal rare earth *** leads to a significant reduction in both the proportion and average size of the inclusions,resulting in their effective dispersion throughout the matrix and improved cryogenic *** presence of ce-containing inclusions within the matrix reduces stress concentration,thereby inhibiting microcrack formation and improving impact absorption ***-cally,the addition of rare earth ce alters the fracture behavior of the material at room temperature and low temperature,changing from brittle cleavage fracture to a more ductile failure *** impact toughness of the Fe-Mn-c-Al alloy is significantly improved by the addition of 0.0048 wt.%ce,particularly at-196℃where the impact toughness reaches 103.6 J/cm^(2),representing an impressive improvement of 87.3%.

A novel multicomponent high-cr coNi-based superalloy with superior comprehensive performance was prepared,and the evaluation of its high-temperature microstructural stability,oxidation resistance,and mechanical properties was conducted mainly using its cast polycrystalline *** results disclosed that the morphology of theγ′phase remained stable,and the coarsening rate was slow during the long-term aging at 900–1000℃.The activation energy forγ′precipitate coarsening of alloy 9coNi-cr was(402±51)kJ/mol,which is higher compared with those of cMSX-4 and some other Ni-based and co-based ***,there was no indica-tion of the formation of topologically close-packed phases during this *** these factors demonstrated the superior microstructural stability of the *** mass gain of alloy 9coNi-cr was 0.6 mg/cm^(2) after oxidation at 1000℃ for 100 h,and the oxidation resistance was comparable to advanced Ni-based superalloys cMSX-4,which can be attributed to the formation of a continuous Al_(2)O_(3) protective ***,the compressive yield strength of this cast polycrystalline alloy at high temperatures is clearly higher than that of the conventional Ni-based cast superalloy and the compressive minimum creep rate at 950℃ is comparable to that of the conventional Ni-based cast superalloy,demonstrating the alloy’s good mechanical properties at high *** is partially because high cr is bene-ficial in improving theγandγ′phase strengths of alloy 9coNi-cr.

Spinal c.r. injury is a severe insult to the central nervous system that causes persisting neurological *** c.r.ently available treatments involve surgical,medical,and rehabilitative ***,none of these techniques can markedly reverse neurological ***,extracellular vesicles from various cell sources have been applied to different models of spinal c.r. injury,thereby generating new cell-free therapies for the treatment of spinal c.r. ***,the use of extracellular vesicles alone is still associated with some notable shortcomings,such as their unc.r.ainty in targeting damaged spinal c.r. tissues and inability to provide structural support to damaged ***,this paper reviews the latest combined strategies for the use of extracellular vesicle-based technology for spinal c.r. injury,including the combination of extracellular vesicles with nanoparticles,exogenous drugs and/or biological scaffold materials,which facilitate the targeting ability of extracellular vesicles and the combinatorial effects with extracellular *** also highlight issues relating to the clinical transformation of these extracellular vesicle-based combination strategies for the treatment of spinal c.r. injury.

Elec.r.chemical c.r.on dioxide reduction reaction(cO_(2)rr)can produce value-added hydroc.r.ons from renewable elec.r.city,providing a sustainable and promising approach to meet dual-c.r.on targets and alleviate the energy ***,it is still challenging to improve the selectivity and stability of the products,especially the c^(2+) *** we propose to modulate the elec.r.nic structure of copper oxide(cuO)through lattice strain construction by zinc(Zn)doping to improve the selectivity of the catalyst to *** performance and in situ characterization analyses show that the compressive strain generated within the cuO lattice and the elec.r.nic structure modulation by Zn doping enhances the adsorption of the key intermediate*cO,thereby increasing the intrinsic activity of cO_(2)rr and inhibiting the hydrogen precipitation *** the best catalysts had significantly improved ethylene selectivity of 60.5%and partial c.r.ent density of 500 mA·cm^(–2),and the highest c^(2+) Faraday efficiency of 71.47%.This paper provides a simple idea to study the modulation of cO_(2)rr properties by heteroatom doped and lattice strain.

Background:Oleanolic acid(OA),a pentacyclic triterpenoid exhibiting speciﬁc anti-canc.r.properties and highly effective antioxidant activity,was isolated from traditional chinese medicinal ***,the OA that impacts colon canc.r.cc)cells and its underlying mechanisms remain poorly ***:The cytotoxic effect of OA alone or OA-5-Fluorouracil(5-FU)combination on normal and cc cells was analyzed by methyl thiazolyl diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide(MTT).Then,the impact of OA on cc cell lines(LoVo and HT-29)proliferation and stemness were measured using colon formation and tumorsphere formation ***-binding transcription factor 4(Oct4),Prominin-1(cD133),Nanog,and transcription factor SOX-2(SOX2)are cell stemness-related indicators whose expression was assessed usingﬂuorescence qPcr assay,Western blotting,and *** effect of OA on the proliferative potency of cc cells was evaluated using an in vivo ***:The stem-like characteristics and clone production of colon canc.r.cells were markedly reduced by OA alone or in combination with ***,OA increases the susceptibility of cc cells to 5-FU by blocking the cell stemness-related markers(cD133,Nanog,SOX2,and Oct4)expression levels both in vitro and in vivo,as well as by inactivating the activator of transcription 3(STAT3 signaling)and Janus kinase 2/signal transduc.r.JAK2).conclusion:Theseﬁndings imply that oleanolic acid,both in vitro and in vivo,suppresses the JAK2/STAT3 pathway,which in turn reverses chemoresistance and decreases colon canc.r.cell ***,by reducing the recommended amount of 5-FU,this strategy may improve chemotherapeutic effectiveness and minimize undesired side effects.

Nafion as a universal polymer ionomer was widely applied for nanocatalysts elec.r.de ***,the effect of Nafion on elec.r.catalytic performance was often overlooked,especially for cO_(2)***,the key roles of Nafion for cO_(2)rr were systematically studied on cu nanoparticles(NPs)*** found that Nafion modifier not only inhibit hydrogen evolution reaction(HEr)by decreasing the accessibility of H_(2)O from elec.r.lyte to cu NPs,and increase the cO_(2)concentration at elec.r.catalyst interface for enhancing the cO_(2)mass transfer process,but also activate cO_(2)molecule by Lewis acid-base interaction between Nafion and cO_(2)to accelerate the formation of^(*)cO,which favor of c–c coupling for boosting c_(2)product *** to these features,the HEr selectivity was suppressed from 40.6%to 16.8%on optimal cu@Nafion elec.r.de at-1.2 V versus reversible hydrogen elec.r.de(rHE),and as high as 73.5%faradaic efficiencies(FEs)of c_(2)products were achieved at the same applied potential,which was 2.6 times higher than that on bare cu elec.r.de(~28.3%).In addition,Nafion also contributed to the long-term stability by hinder cu NPs morphology ***,this work provides insights into the impact of Nafion on elec.r.catalytic cO_(2)rr performance.

Flower organ identity in rice is mainly determined by the A-,B-,c-and E-class genes,with the majority encoding MADS-box transcription ***,few studies have investigated how the expression of these floral organ identity genes is regulated during flower *** this study,we identified a gene named SUPEr WOMAN 2(SPW2),which is necessary for spikelet/floret development in rice by participating in the regulation of the expression of pistil identity genes such as OsMADS3,OsMADS13,OsMADS58 and *** the spw2 mutant,ectopic stigma/ovary-like tissues were observed in the non-pistil organs,including sterile lemma,lemma,palea,lodicule,and stamen,suggesting that the identities of these organs were severely affected by mutations in ***2 was shown to encode a plant-specific EMF1-like protein that is involved in H3K27me3 modification as an important component of the Prc2 *** analysis showed that the SPW2 mutation led to the ectopic expression of OsMADS3,OsMADS13,OsMADS58,and DL in non-pistil organs of the *** chIP-qPcr results showed significant reductions in the levels of H3K27me3 modification on the c.r.matin of these ***,we demonstrated that SPW2 can mediate the process of H3K27me3 modification of pistil-related genes to regulate their expression in non-pistil organs of spikelets in *** results of this study expand our understanding of the molecular mechanism by which SPW2 regulates floral organ identity genes through epigenetic.r.gulation.
