The M1/M2 phenotypic shift of microglia after spinal cord injury plays an important role in the regulation of neuroinflammation during the secondary injury phase of spinal cord *** of shifting microglia polarization from M1(neurotoxic and proinflammatory type)to M2(neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory type)after spinal cord injury appears to be *** possesses an anti-inflammatory biological ***,its roles and the underly.ng molecular mechanisms in spinal cord injury remain *** this study,we found that tryptanthrin inhibited microglia-derived inflammation by promoting polarization to the M2 phenotype in *** promoted M2 polarization through inactivating the cGAS/STIng/NF-κB ***,we found that targeting the cGAS/STIng/NF-κB pathway with tryptanthrin shifted microglia from the M1 to M2 phenotype after spinal cord injury,inhibited neuronal loss,and promoted tissue repair and functional recovery in a mouse model of spinal cord ***,using a conditional co-culture system,we found that microglia treated with tryptanthrin suppressed endoplasmic reticulum stress-related neuronal *** together,these results suggest that by targeting the cGAS/STIng/NF-κB axis,tryptanthrin attenuates microglia-derived neuroinflammation and promotes functional recovery after spinal cord injury through shifting microglia polarization to the M2 phenotype.

RM_(3) compounds(R=rare earth metals,M=transition metals)have rarely been studied for gaseous hydrogen storage applications because of unfavorable *** this work,the hydrogen storage properties of a single-phase yFe_(3)alloy were improved by non-stoichiometric composition and alloy.ng with Sc and *** the y_(1.1-y)Sc_(y)Fe_(3)(y=0.22,0.33)alloys consist of a single rhombohedral *** Sc substitution for y leads to the reduction in the unit cell volume of the yFe_(3)phase,and thus significantly increases the dehydriding equilibrium pressure and decreases the dehydrogenation *** alloy y_(0.77)Sc_(0.33)Fe_(3)delivers a decomposition enthalpy change of 33.54 kJ/mol and a lowest dehydrogenation temperature of 135℃,in comparison with 38.99 kJ/mol and 165℃ for the alloy y_(1.1)Fe_(3).The Zr substitution causes a similar thermodynamic destabilization effect,but the composition and microstructure of y-Zr-Fe alloys need to be further optimized.

Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is a congenital vascular anomaly characterized by a triad of varicose veins,cutaneous capillary malformation,and hypertrophy of bone and(or)soft *** vascular malformations in Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome may present with gastrointestinal *** majority of patients with spleenic hemangiomatosis and/or left inferior vena cava are *** herein report a case admitted to the gastroenterology clinic with life-threatening hematochezia and symptomatic iron deficiency *** to the asymptomatic mild intermittent hematochezia,splenic hemangiomas and left inferior vena cava,the patient did not seek any help for gastrointestinal bleeding until his admittance to our department for evaluation of massive gastrointestinal *** was referred to angiography because of his serious pathogenetic condition and inefficiency of medical *** method showed that hemostasis was successfully achieved in the hemorrhage site by embolism of corresponding *** endoscopy revealed vascular malformations starting from the stomach to the descending *** the other hand,computed tomography revealed splenic hemangiomas and left inferior vena *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome case presenting with gastrointestinal bleeding,splenic hemangiomas and left inferior vena *** literature on the evaluation and management of this case is reviewed.

210Po and 210Pb are increasingly used to constrain particle dynamics in the open oceans,however they are less used in coastal ***,distributions and partitions of 210Po and 210Pb were examined in the Taiwan Strait,as well as their application to quantify particle *** concentrations of dissolved 210Po and 210Pb(nged from 1.21 to 7.63 dpm/(100 L)and from 1.07 to 6.33 dpm/(100 L),*** concentrations of particulate 210Po and 210Pb varied from 1.96 to 36.74 dpm/(100 L)and from 3.11 to 38.06 dpm/(100 L).Overall,particulate 210Po and 210Pb accounted for the majority of the bulk 210Po and 210Pb.210Po either in dissolved or particulate phases showed similar spatial patterns to 210Pb,indicating similar mechanisms for controlling the distributions of 210Po and 210Pb in the Taiwan *** different fractionation coefficients indicated that particles in the Zhemin Coastal Current(ZCC)inclined to absorb 210Po prior to 210Pb while they showed an opposite effect in the Taiwan Warm Current(TWC).Based on the disequilibria between 210Po and 210Pb,the sinking fluxes of total particulate matter(TPM)were estimated to range from–0.22 to 3.84 g/(m2·d),showing an overall comparable spatial distribution to previous reported sediment accumulation ***,our sinking fluxes were lower than the sedimentation rates,indicating a sediment resuspension in winter and horizontal transport of particulate matter from the Taiwan Strait to the East China Sea.

Multifunctional fillers are greatly required for dental resin composites(DRCs).In this work,a spray dryer with a three-fluid nozzle was applied for the first time to construct high-performance complex nanoparticle clusters(CNCs)consisting of different functional nanofillers for dental *** application of a three-fluid nozzle can effectively avoid the aggregation of different nanoparticles with opposite zeta potentials before the spray dry.ng process in order to construct regularly shaped *** a SiO_(2)–ZrO_(2) binary system,the SiO_(2)–ZrO_(2) CNCs constructed using a three-fluid nozzle maintained their excellent mechanical properties((133.3±4.7)MPa,(8.8±0.5)GPa,(371.1±13.3)MPa,and(64.5±0.7)HV for flexural strength,flexural modulus,compressive strength,and hardness of DRCs,respectively),despite the introduction of ZrO_(2) nanoparticles,whereas their counterparts constructed using a two-fluid nozzle showed significantly decreased mechanical ***,heat treatment of the SiO_(2)-ZrO_(2) CNCs significantly improved the mechanical properties and radiopacity of the *** DRCs containing over 10%mass fraction ZrO_(2) nanoparticles can meet the requirement for radiopaque *** importantly,this method can be expanded to ternary or quaternary *** filled with SiO_(2)-ZrO_(2)-ZnO CNCs with a ratio of 56:10:4 displayed high antibacterial activity(antibacterial ratio>99%)in addition to excellent mechanical properties and ***,the three-fluid nozzle spray dry.ng technique holds great potential for the efficient construction of multifunctional cluster fillers for DRCs.

Developing high active and stable bifunctional electrocatalysts towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is essential for the development of rechargeable Zn-air ***,a facile strategy to synthesize the porous carbon layers wrapped CoFe alloy(C/CoFe)through the pyrolysis of a homogeneous mixture containing Co,Fe ions and N-doped carbon quantum dots(Ndoped CQDs)was *** prepared carbon layers with multi-level pore structures provides more active sites and optimizes the homogeneity of the electron and mass *** addition,the carbon layers,which is doped by Co/Fe/N atoms,is responsible for high ORR activity,while the CoFe alloy plays a vital role in OER *** as-synthesized catalyst exhibits an excellent bifunctionality for electrochemical oxygen reactions,which is comparable to the commercial Pt/C and IrO2 *** to the carbon layers protects CoFe alloy nanoparticles from the harsh environment,the rechargeable Znair battery with the C/CoFe catalyst delivers excellent stability during 20,000 charging-discharging cycles.

CoSbS-based compounds are good thermoelectric materials with low thermal conductivity and good electrical properties,which can effectively be used to improve the efficiency of many thermoelectric conversion *** order to improve their properties even more,in this study a series of experiments have been conducted in the frame of the traditional solid-phase synthesis and high-pressure *** is shown that if the mass fluctuation and stress fluctuation in the considered CoSbS system increase,the scattering probability of phonons is enhanced and the lattice thermal conductivity of the material is *** a small amount of Se can simultaneously optimize three thermoelectric properties,i.e.,the Seebeck coefficient is improved,the thermal conductivity becomes smaller and the quality factor *** the same time,the thermal and electrical properties of bulk materials can be optimized by using nano-scale Ni doped CoSbS *** shown by the experiments,Nidoped Co sites can effectively improve the carrier concentration,the effective mass of the density of states of the material,and the power *** the same temperature conditions,the thermoelectric figure of merit(ZT)of Co1−yNiySbS1−xSex synthesized under high pressure,at x=0.15,y=0.1 is much higher than the corresponding value for CoSbS prepared by traditional methods.

In this work, the corrosion behavior of the ascast and extrusion and aging treatment Mg–2Zn–0.2Mn alloy in simulated body fluid(SBF) were studied. The wear behavior of Mg–2Zn–0.2Mn alloy was investigated using pin-on-disk technique and stainless steel as counterbody under a constant sliding velocity at different loads ranging from 2 to 5 N with deionized water and SBF as *** results showed that the extrusion and aging treatment Mg–2Zn–0.2Mn alloy exhibited better corrosion resistance compared with the as-cast alloy due to finer average grain size, more homogeneous phase distribution, and decrease in porosity. The friction coefficient of fractional pair under SBF and deionized water lubrication were obviously lower than that of dry sliding condition. However, the wear rate of Mg–2Zn–0.2Mn alloy under SBF lubrication was higher than that of dry sliding and deionized water lubrication due to the corrosiveness of SBF accelerated the wear of the magnesium alloy. The magnesium alloy exhibited different wear mechanisms with the variety of loads and lubrication conditions.

It is an ideal way to produce clean water after sewage treatment,during which two problems need to be solved:(1)how to deal with water soluble pollutants and surface oil slick;(2)photothermal devices should float on *** paper presents a multifunctional water treatment device that can produce clean water vapor under light after sewage *** bismuth oxybromide catalyst degrades water-soluble pollutants under light ***(SH)melamine sponge has two functions:selectively adsorb surface oil slick and ensure that photothermal devices *** hydrophilic layer provides water for local heating of the photothermal layer to produce water *** SH sponge remains stable and is easy to operate during wastewater treatment,and the efficiency of water vapor production through the photothermal device is increased by 7.2 times compared with that of pure water.
