A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice

A new double betaine 1,1′-（propane-1,3-diyl）dipyridinium-4-carboxylate L has been synthesized. Reaction of 1, 1′-（propane-1,3-diyl）dipyridinium-4-carboxylate tetrahydrate 1 with Co（ClO4）2-6H2O leads to the formation of a new Co（Ⅱ） coordination compound, namely [Co（H2O）6]-2H2O-2L-2ClO4 2. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. Crystal data for 1. monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 18.945（4）, b = 7.700（2）, c = l 1.888（2）A,β = 101.67（3）°, V = 1698.3（6） A^3, Z = 4, F（000） = 760.0, Dc = 1.402 g/cm^3, the final R = 0.0607 and wR = 0.1607 for 950 observed reflections （1 〉 2σ（I））; and those for 2： monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 17.982（1）, b = 15.879 （1）, c = 7.0716（5）/A,β= 100.675（1）°, V= 1984.3（3） ,A^3 Z= 4, F（000） = 1010.0, Dc = 1.631 g/cm^3, the final R = 0.0316 and wR = 0.0896 for 3784 observed reflections （1 〉20（I））. Crystal structure analysis indicates that in 1, molecules of L in a ＂V-shaped＂ conformation are linked to chains sustained by O-H…O hydrogen bonds between carboxylate groups and solvent water molecules. The chains are joined by O-H…O and C-H…O hydrogen bonds to further expand into a three-dimensional structure. For 2, molecules of L in a ＂Z-shaped＂ conformation are linked by hydrogen bonds between carboxylate groups and aqua ligands to form a chain of loops running down the b axis. The （2D→2D） polythreading in compound 2 represents the mode of parallel interpenetration of 2D sheets, having polyrotaxane character.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs)featuring safety,affordability and high energy density may provide a promising solution to the demand for better energy storage *** with high electrochemical performances rely on a stable and reversible Zn metal negative *** side reactions such as the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)at the anode-electrolyte interface are responsible for the low reversibility,and uneven Zn deposition/dissolution gives rise to the instability of Zn ***,a facile and scalable method of regulating electrolytes has been proposed by Chao and his co-works through adding a lowcost,safe and environmentally-friendly electrolyte additive:*** calculations and experimental studies reveal that the glucose not only suppresses side reactions by modulating the solvated shell of Zn^(2+)but also homogenizes Zn deposition/dissolution through forming a special local absorption *** bi-functional electrolyte additive endows the Zn anode with both high reversibility and stability,which efficiently improves the performances of *** work explores a promising electrolyte strategy for realizing the large-scale application of ZIBs.

There are numerous impurities in wet-process phosphoric acid,among which manganese is one of detrimental metallic impurities,and it causes striking negative effects on the industrial phosphoric acid production and downstream *** article investigated the adsorption behavior of manganese from phosphoric acid employing Sinco-430 cationic ion-exchange *** FT-IR and XPS characterizations,the adsorption mechanism was proved to be that manganese was combined with sulfonic acid *** crucial parameters such as temperature,phosphoric acid content and resin dose were studied to optimize adsorption *** optimization,removal percentage and sorption capacity of manganese reached 53.12 wt%,28.34 mg·g^-1,***-2nd-order kinetic model simulated kinetics data best and the activation energy was evaluated as 6.34 kJ·mol^-1 for the sorption reaction of *** addition,the global adsorption rate was first controlled by film diffusion process and second determined by pore diffusion *** was found that the resin could adsorb up to 50.24 mg·g^-1 for *** studies showed that Toth adsorption isotherm model fitted best,followed by Temkin and Langmuir adsorption isotherm *** analysis showed that manganese adsorption was an endothermic process with enhanced randomness and spontaneity.

The membrane method based on adaptive wettability shows great advantages in oil-water *** present,researches focus on the excellent application performance of the membrane material,while the quantitative analysis of interactions in oil-water separation is rarely ***,we constructed an adaptable wettability membrane with multiple polymer networks by polydopamine(PDA)and mussel-inspired amphiphilic *** on the Owens three-probe liquid method,the surface energy of the modified membrane was verified to meet the adaptive wettability conditions,with surface energies(γ-8)of 147.6 mJ m^(−2)(superhydrophilic/underwater superoleophobic)and 49.87 mJ m^(−2)(superhydrophobic/superoleophobic),*** adhesion or repulsion of the membrane to the oil phase under different conditions during the separation process was quantified by the chemical probe AFM *** addition,the oil-water selective separation mechanism was further analyzed in a simplified membrane microchannel *** results show that the different wetting produces capillary additional pressure in opposite directions,resulting in different energies to be overcome when the oil or water passes through the microchannels,thus achieving selective separation.

Lycopodium alkaloids, a unique family of biologically important natural products isolated and characterized from various species of Lycopodium(sensu lato), have attracted extensive attention from chemists and pharmacists in the past three decades. Michael addition-based cyclization has been successfully employed as an elegant and efficient ring-construction protocol of constructing key cyclohexanone intermediates in the total synthesis of Lycopodium alkaloids. This mini-review chooses and summarizes several representative total syntheses of various Lycopodium alkaloids in which intramolecular Michael addition severed as the key methodology.
