Al-S batteries are promising next generation energy storage devices due to their high theoretical energy density(1340 Wh kg^(-1)),low cost,and safe ***,the electrochemical performance of Al-S batteries suffers poor reversibility owing to slow kinetic processes determined by the difficulty of reversible conversion between Al and ***,we proposed a single-atom catalysts comprising Co atoms embedded in a nitrogen-doped graphene(Co NG)as an electrochemical catalyst in the sulfur cathode that renders a reduced discharge-charge voltage hysteresis and improved sulfur utilization in the *** structural and electrochemical analyses suggest that the Co NG facilitated both the formation and oxidation of Al S;during the electrochemical reactions of the sulfur ***,the Co NG-S composite can deliver a considerably reduced voltage hysteresis of 0.76 V and a reversible specific capacity of 1631 m Ah g^(-1) at 0.2 A g^(-1) with a sulfur utilization of more than 97%.

Epistasis between cytoplasmic and nuclear genes is the primary genetic component of complex quantitative *** dissection of cytonuclear epistasis is fundamentally important to understand the genetic architecture of complex *** this study,a two-dimensional genome scan strategy was employed to evaluate the contribution of cytoplasm,quantitative trait loci (QTL),QTL×QTL interactions and QTL×QTL×cytoplasm interactions to the phenotypic *** p-value and parameter value for each genetic effect were calculated by multiple regression analysis.A stepwise approach was suggested to build confidence in candidate QTL on the basis of q-value estimation,false discovery rate calculation and Bonferroni adjustment.A fine-scale grid scan strategy was proposed for further analysis of peaks of *** height in maize was used as an example to illustrate the efficiency of the two-dimensional genome scan strategy.

Isolation and Characterization of a C-repeat Binding Transcription Factor from Maize

C-repeat binding proteins （CBFs） are a group of transcription factors that have been proven to be important for stress tolerance in plants. Many of these transcription factors transactivate the promoters of cold-regulated genes via binding to low temperature-or dehydration-responsive c/s-elements, thus conferring plants cold acclimation. In the present study, we isolated a C-repeat binding transcription factor from maize using the yeast one-hybrid system with the C-repeat motif from the promoter of the Arabidopsis COR15a gene as bait. The isolated transcription factor is highly similar to the Arabidopsis CBF3 in their predicted amino acid sequences, and is therefore designated ZmCBF3. Point mutation analyses of the ZmCBF3-binding c/s-element revealed （A/G）（C/T）CGAC as the core binding sequence. Expression analyses showed that ZmCBF3 was upregulated by both abscisic acid and low temperature, and was actively expressed during embryogenesis, suggesting that ZmCBF3 plays a role in stress response in maize.

Stable solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)has been well established to be critical for the reversible operation of Li(ion)batteries,yet our understanding of its mechanical properties currently remains ***,we used an electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance combined with dissipation monitoring(EQCM-D)to investigate SEI *** quantitatively estimating in-situ,the change in mass,shear modulus,and viscosity of the SEI,we show that the SEI formation in propylene carbonate(PC)-and ethylene carbonate/diethyl carbonate(EC/DEC)-based electrolytes involves the growth of a rigid laye r followed by a viscoelastic layer,whereas a distinct"one-layer"rigid model is applicable to the SEI formulated in tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether(TEGDME)-based *** the continuous formation of the SEI,its shear modulus decreases accompanied by an increase in *** TEGDME,the lightest/thinnest SEI(mass lower than in PC by a factor of nine)yet having the greatest stiffness(more than five times that in PC)is *** attribute this behavior to differences in the chemical composition of the SEIs,which have been revealed by tracking the mass-change-per-mole-of-electrontransferred using EQCM-D and further confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

目的分析急性胆管炎患者手术前后血清高迁移率族蛋白B1(HMGB1)的表达,在急性胆管炎严重程度分级中的意义.方法回顾性分析2017年1-12月胆总管结石伴急性胆管炎病例118例,检测内镜逆行胰胆管造影(endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography,ERCP)手术前后血清HMGB1水平,分析其与病情轻重的关系以及HMGB1与其他生化指标的相关性.结果健康体检组、轻度胆管炎组、中度胆管炎组、重度胆管炎组血清HMGB1水平分别为(1.74±0.79)μg/L、(9.19 ±4.86)μg/L、(12.62 ±4.13)μg/L、(18.02 ±3.84)μg/L,差异有统计学意义(F=63.348,P<0.05),三组经ERCP治疗后其血清水平较术前明显下降,差异有统计学意义(t=10.978,t=35.682,t =42.649;P<0.05),血清HMGB1水平与白细胞计数、CRP、总胆红素、直接胆红素、丙氨酸氨基转移酶呈正相关性.结论血清HMGB1水平在急性胆管炎患者血清中显著升高,且病情越重,升高越明显,经ERCP治疗后,其水平较前明显下降.HMGB1是评价急性胆管炎严重程度的有效参数.

The Louis scheme and the COARE algorithm （version 3.0） are tested against eddy covariance and inertial dissipation methods for friction velocity estimates in different wind-sea/swell regimes. Atmospheric forcing data, tabulated by Donelan et al. （1997.J Phys Oceanog, 27：2087-2099）, were collected from a mast on the foredeck of a SWATH （small water-plane area, twin hull） ship in deep sea off the State of Virginia during the surface wave dynamics experiment. These data are representative of low to moderate wind regimes. The aerodynamic roughness length is determined by using the Charnock relationship. The intercomparison shows that the Louis scheme and the COARE algorithm underestimate the friction velocity by 6% and 3% respectively under pure wind sea conditions, 15% and 13% respectively under cross swell conditions, and 21% and 17% respectively under counter swell conditions. The analysis shows that these underestimations were caused by the method chosen to determine the aerodynamic roughness length because it significantly underestimates the aerodynamic roughness length. It is especially true under the cross swell and counter swell conditions.
