根尖切除加直视根管充填一次完成术疗效观察

目的:评价根尖切除加直视下根管充填一次完成术治疗前牙慢性根尖周炎的临床疗效。方法:选取因根管治疗失败或根尖病变范围较大而无法单纯用根管治疗治愈的患者34例(患牙40颗),随机分为2组,每组20颗;观察比较根尖切除加直视下根管充填一次性完成术(A组)与根管充填完成后再行根尖切除术(B组)在治疗时间、术后疼痛率、充填质量和近期疗效之间的差异;采用SPSS12.0软件包分别进行t检验、χ2检验和Mann-WhitneyU检验。结果:根管充填时间A组显著少于B组(P<0.05);术后疼痛率、充填质量和近期疗效评价,2组差异无统计学意义。结论:根尖切除加直视下根管充填一次性完成术治疗前牙慢性根尖周炎操作简便,临床近期疗效与根管充填完成后再行根尖切除术相似。

Objective:This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the epidemiology of olfactory and gustatory dysfunctions related to COVID-19 in ***:This study was conducted by 45 tertiary Grade-A hospitals in *** and offline questionnaire data were obtained from patients infected with COVID-19 between December 28,2022,and February 21,*** collected information included basic demographics,medical history,smoking and drinking history,vaccination history,changes in olfactory and gustatory functions before and after infection,and other postinfection symptoms,as well as the duration and improvement status of olfactory and gustatory ***:Complete questionnaires were obtained from 35,566 *** overall incidence of olfactory and taste dysfunction was 67.75%.Being female or being a cigarette smoker increased the likelihood of developing olfactory and taste *** received four doses of the vaccine or having good oral health or being a alcohol drinker decreased the risk of such *** infection,the average olfactory and taste VAS scores were 8.41 and 8.51,respectively;after infection,they decreased to 3.69 and 4.29 and recovered to 5.83 and 6.55 by the time of the *** median duration of dysosmia and dysgeusia was 15 and 12 days,respectively,with 0.5%of patients having symptoms lasting for more than 28 *** overall self-reported improvement rate was 59.16%.Recovery was higher in males,never smokers,those who received two or three vaccine doses,and those that had never experienced dental health issues,or chronic accompanying ***:The incidence of dysosmia and dysgeusia following infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is high in *** and prognosis are influenced by several factors,including sex,SARS-CoV-2 vaccination,history of head-facial trauma,nasal and oral health status,smoking and drinking history,and the persistence of accompanying symptoms.

hospital-acquired infections(HAIs) are serious problems for healthcare systems, especially in developing countries where public health infrastructure and technology for infection preventions remain undeveloped. Here, we characterized how strategy and technology could be mobilized to improve the effectiveness of infection prevention and control in hospitals during the outbreaks of Ebola, Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS), and severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS) in Asia and West Africa. Published literature on the hospital-borne outbreaks of SARS, Ebola, and MERS in Asia and West Africa was comprehensively reviewed. The results showed that healthcare systems and hospital management in affected healthcare facilities had poor strategies and inadequate technologies and human resources for the prevention and control of HAIs, which led to increased morbidity, mortality, and unnecessary costs. We recommend that governments worldwide enforce disaster risk management, even when no outbreaks are imminent. Quarantine and ventilation functions should be taken into consideration in architectural design of hospitals and healthcare facilities. We also recommend that health authorities invest in training healthcare workers for disease outbreak response, as their preparedness is essential to reducing disaster risk.

Background Off-label application of drug-eluting stents （DES） during percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） was not uncommon in daily practice, however DES in treating Chinese patients with complex lesion subset was under-investigated. The primary objective of the FIREMAN registry was to evaluate the long term efficacy and safety of the Firebird sirolimus-eluting stent （SES） in treating patients with complex coronary lesions. Here we report the mid-term of one-year clinical outcomes and eight-month angiographic follow-up results of FIREMAN *** The FIREMAN registry was a prospective multi-center registry, which included 1029 consecutive patients undergoing PCI with Firebird SES implantation between September 2006 and July 2007 in 45 centers in China. The clinical follow-up was designed to be performed at 1, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 and 36 months post index procedure, and non-mandatory angiographic follow-up at 8 months was planned. One hundred percent site monitoring was *** Long lesions （59.2%）, multi-vessel disease （50.4%）, and small vessel disease （31.6%） were mostly found in angiography. Major adverse cardiac events （MACE） occurred in 51 （5.1%） patients at 1 year clinical follow-up,including cardiac mortality in 6 （0.6%）, non-fatal myocardial infarction in 11 （1.1%）, and target lesion revascularization in 36 （3.5%） of the patients. Definite and probable stent thrombosis （ST） by Academic Research Consortium （ARC） definition occurred in 12 （1.36%） patients at one-year clinical follow-up. Membrane-associated guanylate kinase(MAGUK)family protein MAGUK invert 2(MAGI-2)has been demonstrated to be involved in the tumorigenic mechanism of prostate *** objective of this study was to investigate the expression of MAGI・2 at mRNA and protein *** prog no stic value of MAGI-2 in Han Chin ese patie nts with prostate cancer was also *** expression data of MAGI・2 were assessed through database retrieval,analysis of sequencing data from our group,and tissue immunohistochemistry using digital scoring system(H・score).The clinical,pathological,and follow-up data were *** expression of MAGI-2 in prostate tumor tissues and prostate normal tissues was evaluated and ***-2 expression was associated with clinical parameters including tumor stage,lymph node status,Gleason score,PSA level,and biochemical recurrenee of prostate *** relative expression of MAGI-2 mRNA was lower in the tumor tissue in The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database and sequencing data(P<0.001).There was no difference in MAGI-2 protein expression between tumor and normal tissues in tissue microarray(TMA)***-2 expression was associated with pathological tumor stage(P=0.02),Gleason score(P=0.05),and preoperation prostate-specific antigen(PSA;P=0.04).A positive correlation was identified between MAGI-2 and phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10(PTEN)expressions through the analysis of TCGA and TMA data(P<0.0001).Patients with higher MAGI-2 expression had longer biochemical recurrence-free survival in the univariate analysis(P=0.005),which in dicates an optimal prog no stic value of MAGI-2 in Han Chin ese patie nts with prostate can cer.I n con elusion,MAGI-2 expressi on gradually decreases with tumor progression,and can be used as a predictor of tumor recurrence in Chinese patients.

AIM:To explore the function of Nonstructural 5A(NS5A) protein of genotype 2a(JFH1)in the replication and infection of hepatitis C virus(HCV).METHODS:Intergenotypic chimera FL-J6JFH/J4NS5A was constructed by inserting NS5A gene from 1b stain HC-J4 by the overlapping polymerase chain reaction (PCR)method and the restriction enzyme *** vitro RNA transcripts of chimera,prototype J6JFH and negative control J6JFH1(GND)were prepared and transfected into Huh-7.5 cells with *** assay(IFA),fluorescence quantitative PCR and infection assay were performed to determine the protein expression and gene replication in Huh-7.5 ***:The HCV RNA levels in FL-J6JFH/J4NS5A chimera RNA transfected cells were significantly lower than the wild type at any indicated time point(2.58 ±5.97×106 vs 4.27±1.72×104,P=0.032).The maximal level of HCV RNA in chimera was 5.6±1.8× 104 GE/μg RNA at day 34 after transfection,while the wild type reached a peak level at day 13 which was 126 folds higher(70.65±14.11×105 vs 0.56±0.90 ×105,P=0.028).HCV proteins could also be detected by IFA in chimera-transfected cells with an obviously low *** assay showed that FL-J6JFH/J4NS5A chimera could produce infectious virus particles,ranging from 10±5 ffu/mL to 78.3±23.6 ffu/mL,while that of FL-J6JFH1 ranged from 5.8±1.5×102 ffu/mL to 2.5±1.4×104 ffu/***:JFH1 NS5A might play an important role in the robust replication of *** establishment of FL-J6JFH/J4NS5A provided a useful platform for studying the function of other proteins of HCV.

BACKGROUND Whether regional lymphadenectomy(RL)should be routinely performed in patients with T1b gallbladder cancer(GBC)remains a subject of *** To investigate whether RL can improve the prognosis of patients with T1b *** We studied a multicenter cohort of patients with T1b GBC who underwent surgery between 2008 and 2016 at 24 hospitals in 13 provinces in *** logrank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used to compare the overall survival(OS)of patients who underwent cholecystectomy(Ch)+RL and those who underwent Ch *** investigate whether combined hepatectomy(Hep)improved OS in T1b patients,we studied patients who underwent Ch+RL to compare the OS of patients who underwent combined Hep and patients who did *** Of the 121 patients(aged 61.9±10.1 years),77(63.6%)underwent Ch+RL,and 44(36.4%)underwent Ch ***(9.1%)patients in the Ch+RL group had lymph node *** 5-year OS rate was significantly higher in the Ch+RL group than in the Ch group(76.3%vs 56.8%,P=0.036).Multivariate analysis showed that Ch+RL was significantly associated with improved OS(hazard ratio:0.51;95%confidence interval:0.26-0.99).Among the 77 patients who underwent Ch+RL,no survival improvement was found in patients who underwent combined Hep(5-year OS rate:79.5%for combined Hep and 76.1%for no Hep;P=0.50).CONCLUSION T1b GBC patients who underwent Ch+RL had a better prognosis than those who underwent ***+Ch showed no improvement in prognosis in T1b GBC *** recommended by both the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and Chinese medical Association guidelines,RL was only performed in 63.6%of T1b GBC *** Ch+RL should be advised in T1b GBC.
