There are complaints about current machine learning techniques such as the requirement of a huge amount of training data and proficient training skills,the difficulty of continual learning,the risk of catastrophic forgetting,and the leaking of data privacy/*** research efforts have been focusing on one of those concerned issues separately,paying less attention to the fact that most issues are entangled in *** prevailing big model paradigm,which has achieved impressive results in natural language processing and computer vision applications,has not yet addressed those issues,whereas becoming a serious source of carbon *** article offers an overview of the learnware paradigm,which attempts to enable users not to need to build machine learning models from scratch,with the hope of reusing small models to do things even beyond their original purposes,where the key ingredient is the specification which enables a trained model to be adequately identified to reuse according to the requirement of future users who know nothing about the model in advance.

Fabrication of micro spherulitic particles of carbamazepine-hesperetin cocrystal via QESD with enhanced manufacturability and dissolution

Granulation is an effective method for improving the flowability of drugs, particularly when they are in needle form. Carbamazepine-hesperetin (CBZ-HPE) cocrystal is a needle-like crystal with low solubility and poor flowability, which limits its application. To address this issue, this study aimed to obtain CBZ-HPE microspheres using the quasi-emulsion solvent diffusion (QESD) technique. The preparation process was monitored using polarized light microscopy, and the formation mechanism was elucidated using the radial distribution function (RDF). The microspheres were extensively characterized using PXRD, DSC, TGA, and SEM. Furthermore, the effects of surfactants, contents, and rotational speeds on the morphology and particle size distribution of microspheres were analyzed to determine the optimal experimental conditions. Based on these findings, naringenin and quercetin, the active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine, were chosen to successfully prepare CBZ-HPE multicomponent microspheres. This research provides a foundation for increasing drug powder properties and drug conjugation through the preparation of microspheres.

The one-bit compressed sensing problem is of fundamental importance in many areas,such as wireless communication,statistics,and so ***,the optimization of one-bit problem coustrained on the unit sphere lacks an algorithm with rigorous mathematical proof of convergence and *** this paper,an iteration algorithm is established based on difference-of-convex algorithm for the one-bit compressed sensing problem constrained on the unit sphere,with iterating formula■,where C is the convex cone generated by the one-bit measurements andη_(1)>η_(2)>1/*** new algorithm is proved to converge as long as the initial point is on the unit sphere and accords with the measurements,and the convergence to the global minimum point of the l_(1)norm is discussed.

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of induction of ferroptosis by brazilin in breast cancer ***:Breast cancer 4T1 cells were divided into 6 groups:control,brazilin 1/2 half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50),IC50,2×IC50,erastin（10 μg/mL） and capecitabine（10 μg/mL） *** effect of brazilin on the proliferation of 4T1 cells was detected by cell counting kit-8 assay,and the treatment dose of brazilin was *** effect of brazilin on the mitochondrial morphology of 4T1 cells,and the mitochondrial damage was evaluated under electron *** levels of Fe2+,reactive oxygen species（ROS）,malondialdehyde（MDA）,glutathione（GSH） and glutathione peroxidase 4（GPX4） were estimated using various detection *** invasion and migration abilities of 4T1 cells were detected by scratch assay and transwell *** expressions levels of tumor protein p53, solute carrier family 7 member 11（SLC7A11）,GPX4 and acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4（ACSL4） proteins were quantified by Western blot ***:Compared to the control group,the 10(1/2 IC50),20(IC50) and 40(2×IC50) μg/mL brazilin,erastin,and capecitabine groups showed a significant decrease in the cell survival rate,invasion and migration abilities,GSH,SLC7A11 and GPX4 protein expression levels,and mitochondrial volume and ridge（Phe mitochondria membrane density,Fe2+,ROS and MDA levels,and p53 and ACSL4protein expression levels（Phe underlying mechanism is mainly associated with the p53/SLC7A11/GPX4 signaling pathway.

It remains a great challenge to understand the hydrates involved in phenomena in practical oil and gas systems. The adhesion forces between hydrate particles, between hydrate particles and pipe walls, and between hydrate particles and reservoir particles are essential factors that control the behaviors of clathrate hydrates in different applications. In this review, we summarize the typical micro-force measurement apparatus and methods utilized to study hydrate particle systems. In addition, the adhesion test results, the related understandings, and the applied numerical calculation models are systematically discussed.

Phase transition of polycrystalline iron compressed along the Hugoniot is studied by combining laser-driven shock with in situ x-ray diffraction *** is suggested that polycrystalline iron changes from an initial body-centered cubic structure to a hexagonal close-packed structure with increasing pressure(i.e.,a phase transition fromαtoε).The relationship between density and pressure for polycrystalline iron obtained from the present experiments is found to be in good agreement with the gas-gun Hugoniot *** results show that experiments with samples at lower temperatures under static loading,such as in a diamond anvil cell,lead to higher densities measured than those found under dynamic *** means that extrapolating results of static experiments may not predict the dynamic responses of materials *** addition,neither the face-centered cubic structure seen in previous molecular-dynamics simulations or twophase coexistence are found within our experimental pressure range.
