Background: Obesity is a common public health issue and is currently deemed a disease. Research has shown that the risk of gallstones in individuals with obesity is elevated. This study aimed to explore the bile proteomics differences between cholelithiasis patients with obesity and normal body weight. Methods: Bile samples from 20 patients(10 with obesity and 10 with normal body weight) who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy at our center were subjected to tandem mass tag labeling(TMT) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS), followed by further bioinformatic analysis. Results: Among the differentially expressed proteins, 23 were upregulated and 67 were downregulated. Bioinformatic analysis indicated that these differentially expressed proteins were mainly involved in cell development, inflammatory responses, glycerolipid metabolic processes, and protein activation cascades. In addition, the activity of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR, a subfamily of nuclear receptors) signaling pathway was decreased in the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) enrichment analysis. Two downregulated proteins in the PPAR signaling pathway, APO A-Ⅰ and APO A-Ⅱ, were confirmed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Conclusions: The PPAR signaling pathway may play a crucial role in the development of cholelithiasis among patients with obesity. furthermore, biliary proteomics profiling of gallstones patients with obesity is revealed, providing a reference for future research.

Oxidation resistance enhancement of pure Ti often comes at the cost of reduced ductility,which is frequently the problem through alloying with sole Al,Si,W,Mo and *** overcome the short coming of single element alloying,this paper proposes a multi-element low-alloying strategy to take advantage of synergistic effects and resolve the conflict between oxidation resistance and *** demonstrates that the addition of a small quantity of Ta（0.51wt%） can boost both oxidation resistance and ductility in comparison to pure ***,the combined addition of a small amount（0.54 wt%） of Ta,Nb and Si not only preserves good ductility of pure Ti,but also reduces mass gains to 14%-67% of pure Ti during 100 h oxidation at 650-850℃ in *** indicates even better oxidation resistance than that obtained through the use of Ta,Nb,or Nb+Ta *** Ta+Nb+Si alloying creates an oxide layer that is less porous and more resistant to stratification and ***,a 3-μm N-rich layer can form in the Ti substrate beneath the oxide scale,in which phase transformation generates coherent Ti2N with（0001）Tias the habit plane,with N atoms prefers to diffuse along ■ than along [0001]*** completely transformed Ti2N region or partially transformed Ti+Ti2N region can effectively impede oxygen ***,the multielement low-alloying strategy is promising for enhancing both oxidation resistance and mechanical properties of metallic materials in the future.

Background Growing epidemiologic evidence has indicated that genetics can predispose individuals to the occurrence of lone atrial fibrillation （AF）. The angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 （ACE2） gene has been established to be associated with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy. The objective of our study was to investigate the association of ACE2 gene polymorphisms with lone AF. Methods A total of 265 consecutive lone AF patients and 289 healthy controls were successfully investigated. The polymorphisms rs2106809 and rs2285666 were genotyped by polymerase chain reaction （PCR） and direct sequencing. A Logistic regression model was used to determine the odds ratio （OR） and 95% confidence intervals （CO of variations of ACE2 for lone AF. Results The T allele of rs2106809 conferred an increased risk for lone AF （OR 1.24, 95% CI 1.01-1.52, P=0.03） in males after adjustment for conventional risk factors. SNP at rs2285666 in males was not significantly different between AF patients and controls. No association was found between the two polymorphisms in the female population with lone AF. After （36.3±4.5） months of follow-up, the end point data were obtained： death （cardiac and noncardiac）, ischemic stroke, and heart failure. In the male subgroup, the associations between rs2106809 T male carriers and combined end points including ischemic stroke, heart failure, and death in our study were of significance （OR 3.6, 95% CI 1.0-13.1, P=-0.04）. Conclusions The results indicate that polymorphism at ACE2 gene is associated with male lone AF in a Chinese Han population. Titanium matrix composites reinforced with ceramic particles are considered a promising engineering material due to their combination of high specific strength,low density,and high *** this study,the TA15-based composites reinforced with a volume fraction of 10% to 25%(TiB+TiC)were prepared using powder metallurgy and casting *** characterization and phase constitution were examined using optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).In addition,the microhardness,room temperature(RT)and high temperature(HT)tensile properties of the composites were *** revealed that the reinforcements are distributed uniformly even in the composites with a high volume of TiB and ***,as the volume fraction exceeds 15%,TiB and TiC particles become coarsening and exhibit rod-like and dendritic-like *** increases gradually from 321.2 HV for the base alloy to a maximum of 473.3 HV as the reinforcement increases to 25vol.%.Tensile test results indicate that a reinforcement volume fraction above 20% is beneficial for enhancing tensile strength and yield strength at high temperatures,but it has an adverse effect on room temperature ***,if the reinforcement volume fraction is below 20%,it can improve high-temperature elongation when the temperature exceeds 600℃.

In perovskite EuTiO_(3),the magnetic characteristics and magnetocaloric effect(MCE) can be flexibly regulated by converting the magnetism from antiferromagnetic to *** the present work,a series of Eu(Ti,Nb,Mn)O_(3) compounds,abbreviated as ETNMO for convenience of description,was fabricated and their crystallography,magnetism together with cryogenic magnetocaloric effects were systematically *** crystallographic results demonstrate the cubic perovskite structure for all the compounds,with the space group of *** magnetic phase transitions are observed in these second-order phase transition(SOPT) *** joint substitution of elements Mn and Nb can considerably manipulate the magnetic phase transition process and magnetocaloric performance of the ETNMO *** the Mn content increases,gradually widened-ΔS_(M)-T curves are obtained,and two peaks with a broad shoulder are observed in the-ΔS_(M)-T curves for Δμ_(0)H≤0-1 *** a field change of 0-5 T,the values of maximum magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_(M)^(max)) and refrigeration capacity(RC) are evaluated to be 34.7 J/(kg·K) and 364.9 J/kg for EuTi_(O.8625)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.075)O_(3), 27.8 J/(kg·K) and367.6 J/kg for EuTi_(0.8375)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.1)O_(3),23.2 J/(kg·K) and 369.2 J/kg for EuTi_(0.8125)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.125)O_(3),17.1 J/(kg·K) and 357.6 J/kg for EuTi_(0.7875)Nb_(0.0625)Mn_(0.15)O_(3),*** co nsiderable MCE parameters make the ETNMO compounds potential candidates for cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

Irreducible anteromedial radial head dislocation(IARHD)caused by transposed biceps tendon is *** diagnosis and surgical failure often occur.A 46-year-old fisherman presented with 10 days history of painful swelling and restricted movement of his right elbow due to strangulation injury by a fishing boat *** examination,the images of the right elbow reveals in a"semi-extended and pronated"elastic fixation *** and 3-dimensional reconstruction CT reveals an isolated anteromedial radial head dislocation with extreme protonation of the radius and the bicipital tuberosity towards the posterior aspect of the elbow joint,and MRI shows biceps tendon wrapping around the radial neck,similar to umbilical cord wrapping seen in *** Henry approach was applied for the first time to reduce the biceps *** patient achieved a good functional recovery at 26 months,which represents the first reported case of IARHD without fracture caused by biceps tendon in an *** treatment of IARHD,attention should be paid to the phenomenon of biceps tendon *** clinical examination,comprehensive imaging modalities,and appropriate surgical approach are the keys to successful management.

This report describes a novel technique for improving depressed scars using negative pressure suction-assisted autologous fat grafting. A 35-year-old woman presented with a 20-year history of bilateral central buttock concavities, causing aesthetic concerns. To maximize fat graft survival and enhance tissue volume, we implemented intermittent negative pressure suction on the recipient area for one month preoperatively. The patient expressed satisfaction with the cosmetic outcome, and a three-month follow-up confirmed a significantly improved fat graft survival rate. This minimally invasive, cost-effective, and easily reproducible technique offers a promising clinical strategy for treating depressed scars.
