PHR1(PHOSPHATE STARVATION RESPONSE1)plays key roles in the inorganic phosphate(Pi)starvation response and in Pi deficiency-induced anthocyanin biosynthesis in plants. However, the post-translational regulation of PHR1 is unclear,and the molecular basis of PHR1-mediated anthocyanin biosynthesis remains elusive. In this study, we determined that MdPHR1 was essential for Pi deficiency-induced anthocyanin accumulation in apple(Malus × domestica). MdPHR1 interacted with MdWRKY75, a positive regulator of anthocyanin biosynthesis, to enhance the MdWRKY75-activated transcription of MdMYB1,leading to anthocyanin accumulation. In addition,the E3 ubiquitin ligase SEVEN IN ABSENTIA1(MdSINA1) negatively regulated MdPHR1-promoted anthocyanin biosynthesis via the ubiquitination-mediated degradation of ***, the protein kinase apple BRASSINOSTEROID INSENSITIVE2(MdBIN2) phosphorylated MdPHR1 and positively regulated MdPHR1-mediated anthocyanin accumulation by attenuating the MdSINA1-mediated ubiquitination degradation of MdPHR1. Taken together,these findings not only demonstrate the regulatory role of MdPHR1 in Pi starvation induced anthocyanin accumulation, but also provide an insight into the post-translational regulation of PHR1.

Characteristics and main controlling factors of helium resources in the main petroliferous basins of the North China Craton

At present, the main controlling factors of helium accumulation is one of the key scientific problems restricting the exploration and development of helium reservoir. In this paper, based on the calculation results of He generation rate and the geochemical characteristics of the produced gas, both the similarities and differences between natural gas and He resources in the Bohai Bay, Ordos and the surrounding Songliao Basin are compared and analyzed, discussing the main controlling factors of helium resources in the three main petroliferous basins of the North China Craton. It is found that the three basins of Bohai Bay, Ordos and Songliao have similar characteristics of source rocks, reservoirs and cap rocks, that's why their methane resource characteristics are essentially the same. The calculated ~4He generation per cubic metamorphic crystalline basement in the three basins is roughly equivalent, which is consistent with the measured He resources, and it is believed that the ~4He of radiogenic from the crust is the main factor controlling the overall He accumulation in the three basins;there is almost no contribution of the mantle-derived CH_4, which suggests that the transport and uplift of mantle-derived ~3He carried by the present-day magmatic activities along the deep-large faults is not the main reason for the mantle-derived ~3He mixing in the basins. Combined with the results of regional volcanic and geophysical studies,it is concluded that under the background of the destruction of North China Craton, magma intrusion carried a large amount of mantle-derived material and formed basic volcanic rocks in the Bohai Bay Basin and Songliao Basin, which replenished mantle-derived ~3He for the interior of the basins, and that strong seismic activities in and around the basins also promoted the upward migration of mantle source ~3He. Gamma-ray bursts(GRBs)are brief,intense,gamma-ray flashes in the universe,lasting from a few milliseconds to a few thousand *** short gamma-ray bursts(sGRBs)with duration less than 2 seconds,the isotropic energy(E_(iso))function may be more scientifically meaningful and accurately measured than the luminosity(Lp)*** this work we construct,for the first time,the isotropic energy function of s GRBs and estimate their formation ***,we derive the L_(p)-E_(p) correlation using 22 s GRBs with known redshifts and well-measured spectra and estimate the pseduo redshifts of 334 Fermi s ***,we adopt the Lynden-Bell c-method to study isotropic energy functions and formation rate of s GRBs without any assumption.A strong evolution of isotropic energy E_(iso)∝(1+z)^(5.79) is found,which is comparable to that between L_(p) and *** removing effect of the cosmic evolution,the isotropic energy function can be reasonably fitted by a broken power law,which is φ(E_(iso,0))∝E_(iso,0)^(-0.045) for dim sGRBs andφ(E_(iso,0))∝E_(iso,0)^(-1.11) for bright sGRBs,with the break energy 4.92×10^(49)*** obtain the local formation rate of s GRBs is about 17.43 events Gpc^(-3)yr^(-1).If assuming a beaming angle is 6° to 26°,the local formation rate including off-axis s GRBs is estimated as ρ_(0,all)=155.79-3202.35 events Gpc^(-3)yr^(-1).

Sedimentation is a key process affecting wetland sustainability and carbon burial *** context of sea level rise,climate change and human activities,further understanding about the sedimentary dynamic in wetland is critical in predicting the landscape evolution or the change in carbon burial *** this study,based on the field hydrological observation in a mangrove system in the Nanliu River estuary,we found the net flux of suspended sediment to mangrove is 39−72 kg/m in tidal cycles with Turbidity Maximum Zone(TMZ)forming in surface layer and only is 9−18 kg/m in tidal cycles without *** higher net flux of suspended sediment to mangrove in tidal cycles with TMZ forming in surface layer is attributed to high SSC in rising tide and intense flocculation in *** significant discrepancy in sedimentation rate in the mangrove patches also can be explained by the probability of TMZ forming in the surface layer of *** future,rapid sea level rising may lead to the change of TMZ pattern in estuary,which will result in non-negligible variation in sedimentation rate in *** to the present data of sedimentation rate in wetlands,the fragility of wetlands in river estuary may be miscalculated.
