Photothermal therapy(PTT)has been widely used in the treatment of tumors,but its efficacy is greatly limited by the inability of precise drug delivery and the increase of heat shock proteins(HSPs)caused by high *** article describes a therapeutic strategy to enhance PTT with starvation therapy in conjunction with ferroptosis mechanism.A nanoparticle platform ZIF-8@GA was constructed by wrapping together glucose oxidase(GOX)and gold nanospheres(AuNPs)loaded with dihydroartemisinin(DHA)with zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8).This platform can take advantage of the micro-environment of osteosarcoma(OS)cells,featuring low pH and high reactive oxygen species(ROS),for precision drug *** can effectively catalyze glucose to produce gluconic acid and H_(2)O_(2),and DHA can also induce ROS production in OS *** produced by GOX and DHA can further generate lipid peroxidation(LPO)and lead to ferroptosis of OS *** the same time,ROS and LPO produced can inhibit the expression of HSPs,thereby increasing the therapeutic effect of *** vitro experiments show that the nanoparticles are pH and ROS responsive.1μg/mL GOX combined with 0.2μg/mL DHA promotes ferroptosis of OS cells,and increases the killing effect of near-infrared(NIR)on OS *** in vivo experiments showed that the nano drug-delivery platform combined with PTT can effectively inhibit the growth of OS ***,this study provides a new idea for the treatment of OS with biomaterials combined with various treatment methods.

目的探讨盐酸奥洛他定片联合注射用复方甘草酸苷及糠酸莫米松乳膏治疗过敏性皮炎的临床效果。方法选取2022年1月-2023年3月期间收治的60例过敏性皮炎患者作为研究对象,依据治疗方法不同将其分为对照组(n=30,注射用复方甘草酸苷及糠酸莫米松乳膏治疗)和观察组(n=30,盐酸奥洛他定片口服联合注射用复方甘草酸苷及糠酸莫米松乳膏治疗)。对比两组临床疗效、皮损和瘙痒程度、血清相关因子、免疫功能以及不良反应。结果观察组治疗后临床疗效高于对照组(P0.05)。结论盐酸奥洛他定片联合注射用复方甘草酸苷及糠酸莫米松乳膏治疗更有利于改善过敏性皮炎患者血清相关因子及免疫功能,可更好地改善患者临床症状,减轻皮损程度,临床疗效更佳。

Strain Hardening Associated with Dislocation,Deformation Twinning,and Dynamic Strain Aging in Fe–20Mn–1.3C–(3Cu) TWIP Steels

The effects of Cu on stacking fault energy,dislocation slip,mechanical twinning,and strain hardening in Fe–20Mn–1.3C twinning-induced plasticity（TWIP） steels were systematically *** stacking fault energy was raised with an average slope of 2 mJ/m2 per 1 wt% *** Fe–20Mn–1.3C–3Cu steel exhibited superior tensile properties,with the ultimate tensile strength reached at 2.27 GPa and elongation up to 96.9% owing to the high strain hardening that *** examine the mechanism of this high strain hardening,dislocation density determination by XRD was *** dislocation density increased with the increasing strain,and the addition of Cu resulted in a decrease in the dislocation density.A comparison of the strain-hardening behavior of Fe–20Mn–1.3C and Fe–20Mn–1.3C–3Cu TWIP steels was made in terms of modified Crussard–Jaoul（C–J） analysis and microstructural *** at low strains,the contributions of all the relevant deformation mechanisms—slip,twinning,and dynamic strain aging—were quantitatively *** analysis revealed that the dislocation storage was the leading factor to the increase of the strain hardening,while dynamic strain aging was a minor contributor to strain ***,which interacted with the matrix,acted as an effective barrier to dislocation motion.

A modified smoothed particle hydrodynamics method considering residual stress for simulating failure and its application in layered rock mass

Residual strength is an indispensable factor in evaluating rock fracture,yet the current Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics(SPH)framework rarely considers its influence when simulating *** improved cracking strategy considering residual stress in the base bond SPH method was proposed to simulate failures in layered rocks and slopes and verified by experimental results and other simulation methods(i.e.,the discrete element method).Modified Mohr–Coulomb failure criterion was applied to distinguish the mixed failure of tensile and *** fracture markψwas introduced to improve the kernel function after tensile damage,and the calculation of residual stress after the damage was derived after shear *** simulations were carried out to evaluate its performance under different stress and scale conditions and to verify its effectiveness in realistically reproducing crack initiation and propagation and coalescence,even fracture and *** results indicate that the improved cracking strategy precisely captures the fracture and failure pattern in layered rocks and rock *** residual stress of brittle tock is correctly captured by the improved SPH *** improved SPH method that considers residual strength shows an approximately 13%improvement in accuracy for the safety factor of anti-dip layered slopes compared to the method that does not consider residual strength,as validated against analytical *** infer that the improved SPH method is effective and shows promise for applications to continuous and discontinuous rock masses.

Efficacy of Chinese herbal medicine for lumbar disc herniation: a systematic review of randomized controlled trials

OBJECTIVE: This is a review of the effects of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM) used alone to treat lumbar disc herniation(LDH). METHORDS: A literature search of the following electronic databases from their inception to February 2013 was conducted: Chinese Biomedical databases, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, China Science and Technology Journal Database, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, MEDLINE, and EMBASE. Randomized controlled trials where CHM had been used to treat LDH were selected. Data extraction, quality assessment, and data analysis were carried out by two independent reviewers. RESULTS: Of the 2415 studies identified, eight with complete data on 1146 patients were selected. The methodological quality was poor in all trials. Five studies reported that CHM was better than Western Medicine [OR=2.81, 95% CI(1.27, 6.18); OR=3.34, 95% CI(1.92, 5.79); OR=2.22, 95% CI(1.08, 4.57); OR= 6.67, 95% CI(1.34, 33.28); and OR=1.94, 95% CI(1.23, 3.06)]. Two studies reported that the clinical outcome was better in CHM groups than in physiotherapy and placebo groups, [OR=3.02, 95% CI(1.08, 8.46); and OR=2.67, 95% CI(1.26, 5.64), respectively], whereas one study reported no difference between CHM and physiotherapy groups. One study reported that CHM resulted in higher Japanese Orthopedic Association scores [MD=7.78, 95% CI(6.67, 8.89)] than in a control group and another that participants treated with CHM had lower Visual Analogue Scale scores [MD=﹣0.72, 95% CI( ﹣0.86, ﹣0.58)] than those in a control group. Three studies reported that the adverse effects of CHM and Western Medicine did not differ significantly [OR=0.10, 95% CI(0.01, 1.85); OR=0.19, 95% CI(0.01, 4.07); and OR=0.07, 95% CI(0.00, 1.32)]. CONCLUSION: CHM may be more effective than other interventions for LDH; however, methodological weaknesses in the studies assessed in this review prevent a definitive conclusion. More high-quality large-scale studies are required to clarify this matter.

Low-resolution Kramers-Kronig detection system with error-feedback noise shaping

In this paper, we investigated the effects of error-feedback noise shaping(EFNS) on a lowresolution Kramers-Kronig(KK) detection system for the first time. Both 16-ary quadrature amplitude modulation(16-QAM) and 64-ary quadrature amplitude modulation(64-QAM) were considered in the experiment. The carrier tone was added on the transmitter side using the virtual carrier-assisted single sideband(VCA-SSB) method to meet the minimum phase(MP) condition. Under the MP condition, KK detection only needs the intensity of the optical signal to be detected by one photodiode(PD) to retrieve the phase information. However, the virtual carrier tone increases the carrier-to-signal power ratio(CSPR), which results in a high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) at the transmitter, causing an increase in quantization noise. To mitigate quantization noise in the low-resolution KK detection system, EFNS was applied. The application of EFNS increased the optimal CSPR of the KK detection system and improved receiver sensitivity. Using a 4-bit DAC and the EFNS, 80 km transmission was achieved in the 60-Gbit/s 64-QAM KK detection system.
