Microwave-Assisted Confining Growth and Liquid Exfoliation of sp3-Hybrid Carbon Nitride Nano/Micro-Crystals

As one promising carbon-based material, sp(3)-hybrid carbon nitride has been predicted with various novel physicochemical properties. However, the synthesis of sp(3)-hybrid carbon nitride is still limited by the nanaoscale, low crystallinity, complex source, and expensive instruments. Herein, we have presented a facile approach to the sp(3)-hybrid carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals with microwave-assisted confining growth and liquid exfoliation. Actually, the carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals can spontaneously emerge and grow in the microwave-assisted polymerization of citric acid and urea, and the liquid exfoliation can break the bulk disorder polymer to retrieve the highly crystalline carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals. The obtained carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals present superior blue light absorption strength and surprising photoluminescence quantum yields of 57.96% in ethanol and 18.05% in solid state. The experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations reveal that the interface-trapped localized exciton may contribute to the excellent intrinsic light emission capability of carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals and the interparticle staggered stacking will prevent the aggregation-caused-quenching partially. Finally, the carbon nitride nano/micro-crystals are demonstrated to be potentially useful as the phosphor medium in light-emitting-diode for interrupting blue light-induced eye damage. This work paves new light on the synthesis strategy of sp(3)-hybrid carbon nitride materials and thus may push forward the development of multiple carbon nitride research.

The emergence of novel self-powered humidity sensors has attracted considerable attention in the fields of smart electronic devices and personal ***,self-powered humidity sensors have been fabricated using a moisture-driven energy generation(MEG)device based on asymmetric tubular graphitic carbon nitride(g-CN)films prepared on anodized aluminum(AAO)*** a relative humidity(RH)of 96%,the MEG device can provide an open-circuit voltage of 0.47 V and a short-circuit current of 3.51μA,with a maximum output power of 0.08μ*** inherent self-powered ability and humidity response via current variation,an extraordinary response of 1.78×106%(41%-96%RH)can be gained from the MEG *** possible power generation mechanism is that g-CN/AAO heterostructure can form ion gradient and diffusion under the action of moisture to convert chemical potential into electrical potential,evoking a connaturally sensitive response to ***-powered respiration monitoring device based on the sensor is designed to monitor human movement(sitting,warming up,and running)and sleep status(normal,snoring,and apnea),maintaining excellent stability during cumulative 12-h respiration *** self-powered humidity sensing technology has promising potential for extensive integration into smart electronic and round-the-clock health monitoring devices.

Extremum seeking control for UAV close formation flight via improved pigeon-inspired optimization

This paper proposes a comprehensive design scheme for the extremum seeking control(ESC)of the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)close formation *** proposed design scheme combines a Newton-Raphson method with an extended Kalman filter(EKF)to dynamically estimate the optimal position of the following UAV relative to the leading *** reflect the wake vortex effects reliably,the drag coefficient induced by the wake vortex is considered as a performance ***,the performance function is parameterized by the first-order and second-order terms of its Taylor series *** the excellent performance of nonlinear estimation,the EKF is used to estimate the gradient and the Hessian matrix of the parameterized performance *** output feedback of the proposed scheme is determined by iterative calculation of the Newton-Raphson *** with the traditional ESC and the classic ESC,the proposed design scheme avoids the slow continuous time integration of the *** allows a faster convergence of relative position ***,the proposed method can provide a smoother command during the seeking process as the second-order term of the performance function is taken into *** convergence analysis of the proposed design scheme is accomplished by showing that the output feedback is a supermartingale *** improve estimation performance of the EKF,a improved pigeon-inspired optimization(IPIO)is proposed to automatically tune the noise covariance *** Carlo simulations for a three-UAV close formation show that the proposed design scheme is robust to the initial position of the following UAV.

In this paper,a dynamic modeling method of motor driven electromechanical system is presented,and the uncertainty quantification of mechanism motion is investigated based on this *** main contribution is to propose a novel mechanism-motor coupling dynamic modeling method,in which the relationship between mechanism motion and motor rotation is established according to the geometric coordination of the *** advantages of this include establishing intuitive coupling between the mechanism and motor,facilitating the discussion for the influence of both mechanical and electrical parameters on the mechanism,and enabling dynamic simulation with controller to take the randomness of the electric load into *** simulation considering feedback control of ammunition delivery system is carried out,and the feasibility of the model is verified *** on probability density evolution theory,we comprehensively discuss the effects of system parameters on mechanism motion from the perspective of uncertainty *** work can not only provide guidance for engineering design of ammunition delivery mechanism,but also provide theoretical support for modeling and uncertainty quantification research of mechatronics system.

High-dimensional uncertainty quantification of projectile motion in the barrel of a truck-mounted howitzer based on probability density evolution method

This paper proposed an efficient research method for high-dimensional uncertainty quantification of projectile motion in the barrel of a truck-mounted ***,the dynamic model of projectile motion is established considering the flexible deformation of the barrel and the interaction between the projectile and the ***,the accuracy of the dynamic model is verified based on the external ballistic projectile attitude test ***,the probability density evolution method(PDEM)is developed to high-dimensional uncertainty quantification of projectile *** engineering example highlights the results of the proposed method are consistent with the results obtained by the Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS).Finally,the influence of parameter uncertainty on the projectile disturbance at muzzle under different working conditions is *** results show that the disturbance of the pitch angular,pitch angular velocity and pitch angular of velocity decreases with the increase of launching angle,and the random parameter ranges of both the projectile and coupling model have similar influence on the disturbance of projectile angular motion at muzzle.

Research on simulation of gun muzzle flow field empowered by artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence technology is introduced into the simulation of muzzle flow field to improve its simulation efficiency in this paper.A data-physical fusion driven framework is ***,the known flow field data is used to initialize the model parameters,so that the parameters to be trained are close to the optimal *** physical prior knowledge is introduced into the training process so that the prediction results not only meet the known flow field information but also meet the physical conservation *** two examples,it is proved that the model under the fusion driven framework can solve the strongly nonlinear flow field problems,and has stronger generalization and *** proposed model is used to solve a muzzle flow field,and the safety clearance behind the barrel side is *** is pointed out that the shape of the safety clearance under different launch speeds is roughly the same,and the pressure disturbance in the area within 9.2 m behind the muzzle section exceeds the safety threshold,which is a dangerous *** with the CFD results shows that the calculation efficiency of the proposed model is greatly improved under the condition of the same calculation *** proposed model can quickly and accurately simulate the muzzle flow field under various launch conditions.

Carbon nanogels(CNGs)with dual ability of reactive oxygen species(ROS)imaging and photodynamic therapy have been designed with selfassembled chemiluminescent carbonized polymer dots(CPDs).With efficient deep-red/near-infrared chemiluminescence(CL)emission and distinctive photodynamic capacity,the H2O2-driven chemiluminescent CNGs are further designed by assembling the polymeric conjugate and CL donors,enabling an in vitro and in vivo ROS bioimaging capability in animal inflammation models and a high-performance therapy for xenograft ***,ROS generated in inflammatory sites or tumor microenvironment can trigger the chemically initiated electron exchange luminescence in the chemical reaction of peroxalate and H2O2,enabling in vivo CL ***,part of the excited-state electrons will transfer to the ambient H2O or dissolved oxygen and in turn lead to the type I and type II photochemical ROS production of hydroxyl radicals or singlet oxygen,endowing the apoptosis of tumor cells and thus enabling cancer *** results open up a new avenue for the design of multifunctional nanomaterials for bioimaging and antienoplastic agents.

Plate tectonics in the Archean:Observations versus interpretations

Plate tectonics theory,established in the 1960s,has been successful in explaining many geological phenomena,processes and events that occurred in the ***,the theory has often struggled to provide a coherent framework in interpreting geological records in continental interior and Precambrian *** dealing with the relationship between plate tectonics and continental geology,continental interior tectonics was often separated from continental margin tectonics in the inheritance and development of their structure and *** separation led to the illusion that the plate tectonics theory is not applicable to Precambrian geology,particularly in explaining the fundamental geological characteristics of Archean *** this illusion does not mean that the Archean continental crust did not originate from a regime of plate tectonics,it led to the development of alternative tectonic models,often involving vertical movements under a regime of stagnant lid tectonics,including not only endogenous processes such as gravitational sagduction,mantle plumes and heat pipes but also exogenous processes such as bolide *** vertical processes were not unique to the Archean but persisted into the *** result from mantle poloidal convection at different depths,not specific to any particular *** the plate tectonics theory from the traditional kinematic model in the 20th century to a holistic kinematic-dynamic model in the 21st century and systematically examining the vertical transport of matter and energy at plate margins,it is evident that plate tectonics can explain the common geological characteristics of Archean cratons,such as lithological associations,structural patterns and metamorphic *** deciphering the structure and composition of convergent plate margins as well as their dynamics,the formation and evolution of continental crust since the Archean can be divided into ancient plate tectonics in the Preca

Discovery of the Significant Impacts of Swell Propagation on Global Wave Climate Change

This study compared the differences in the wave climate in the South China Sea and North Indian Ocean under these two datasets:ERA-40 wave reanalysis and Mei’s hindcast wave *** the numerical calculation of regional ocean waves,the wave climate characteristics exhibited significant bias if the influence of external swells(swells from afar)was not fully considered,which may provide an incorrect basis for global climate change analysis.1)The trends of the significant wave height(SWH)obtained from the two datasets showed significant differences,such as those of the Bay of Bengal and the Java Sea in *** the past 45 years,SWH from ERA-40(SWH-ERA)exhibited a significant annual increase in low-latitude waters of the North Indian Ocean(0.2-0.6 cm yr^(-1))and South China Sea(0.2-0.8 cm yr^(-1)).2)In the Bay of Bengal,the SWH-ERA in each month was generally 0.5 m higher than the SWH from Mei’s hindcast wave data(SWH-Mei)and can reach 1.0 m higher in some months.3)In the Bay of Bengal,SWH-ERA and SWH-Mei increased significantly at annual rates of 0.13 and 0.27 cm yr^(-1),*** increasing trend was mainly reflected after ***-ERA showed a trough in 1975(1.33 m)and a crest in 1992(1.83 m),which were not reflected in SWH-Mei.

A positive trend in the stability of global offshore wind energy

The recognition on the trend of wind energy stability is still extremely rare,although it is closely related to acquisition efficiency,grid connection,equipment lifetime,and costs of wind energy *** the 40-year(1979–2018)ERA-Interim data from the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts,this study presented the spatial-temporal distribution and climatic trend of the stability of global offshore wind energy as well as the abrupt phenomenon of wind energy stability in key regions over the past 40 years with the climatic analysis method and Mann-Kendall(M-K)*** results show the following 5 points.(1)According to the coefficient of variation(C_(v))of the wind power density,there are six permanent stable zones of global offshore wind energy:the southeast and northeast trade wind zones in the Indian,Pacific and Atlantic oceans,the Southern Hemisphere westerly,and a semi-permanent stable zone(North Indian Ocean).(2)There are six lowvalue zones for both seasonal variability index(S_(v))and monthly variability index(M_(v))globally,with a similar spatial distribution as that of the six permanent stable zones.M_(v) and S_(v) in the Arabian Sea are the highest in the world.(3)After C_(v),M_(v) and S_(v) are comprehensively considered,the six permanent stable zones have an obvious advantage in the stability of wind energy over other sea areas,with C_(v) below 0.8,M_(v) within 1.0,and S_(v) within 0.7 all the year round.(4)The global stability of offshore wind energy shows a positive climatic trend for the past four decades.C_(v),M_(v) and S_(v) have not changed significantly or decreased in most of the global ocean during 1979 *** is,wind energy is flat or more stable,while the monthly and seasonal variabilities tend to shrink/smooth,which is beneficial for wind energy utilization.(5)C_(v) in the low-latitude Pacific and M_(v) and S_(v) in both the North Indian Ocean and the low-latitude Pacific have an obvious abrupt phenomenon at the end of
